Teach you how to take the Humen high-speed rail (train) station - learn to read the ticket information
Location: Humen Station (Amap shows Humen Railway Station/High-speed Railway/Humen North)
😊 I quickly went to Dongguan where there is a subway line and played for a few days. I have done my homework and would like to share with you how to take a bus from Shenzhen to Dongguan.
There are many flights between Shenzhen North and Dongguan, and there are also many flights between Shenzhen North and Humen. The first and last stations of the Dongguan Railway Line are both named "Dongguan Railway Station" and "Humen Railway Station". So it is clear that it is a railway station connecting to other cities. You can choose the station you want to get off at based on where you want to travel and stay.
I chose "Humen Station" for both my round trip. When buying tickets at the Shenzhen North manual window, you can ask the ticket agent that you bought the ticket for Humen Station, because when buying tickets on the trip.com platform or 12306, it will also show Humen East Station. This station has no subway line connection in Humen Town.
As for how many boarding points there are in Shenzhen, you will find that Shenzhen North has the most buses. On the day of departure, check the ticket app while crossing from Lok Ma Chau to Shenzhen North. The earliest time will be when there will be no tickets available or sales will be suspended. But when you get there, you can buy tickets for the closest time, around 3:8 or 9 that afternoon, for the 4:30 p.m. The queue is not too short and you can expect to wait for 20 minutes to half an hour.
🚆The area near "Humen High-speed Railway Station" is still under construction. On the return trip, just exit the gate at Humen subway station and follow the signs and the crowd. Soon you will reach the high-speed rail station and pass the manual ticket selling area, which is on the left side of the front and has little space. There are plenty of tickets from Humen to Shenzhen North. You can check the online ticketing platform every once in a while before buying. For those who don’t want to pre-order in case they miss out, here’s how I handle it.
The ticket does not show the boarding and waiting area because the space is not big. As soon as you enter, you will see a screen with a big sign with the words A, B, to Guangzhou and Shenzhen written on it. The bus number is in the middle of the ticket. Just look for it on the screen. The name in the photo starts with G. The ticket will show the passenger’s Chinese name and Home Return Permit number. The destination of the train you take may not be where you want to go, so don't panic, just look at the train number. If you want to know how many stations there are in between, you can go to 12306, enter the train number, and you will also see the destination city, so you can have peace of mind knowing the information is accurate.
After about 10-15 minutes, the screen will show that ticket checking has begun and you will have to queue up to enter the gate. I have used the Home Return Permit by myself, but there is always a possibility that some machines may not respond sensitively or malfunction. A staff member will help you. Sometimes, I would choose the side where the staff are standing in case something happens.
🚅 Second class is the cheapest. Very good already. For example, my car 14 is the 14th car of the train. It is best to enter from the platform. It is very inconvenient to move luggage among many people in the car. No. 16B is the seat position in the car. If you find someone seated they will let it back to you. Because some trains have standing seats for sale, people who buy standing seats will sit down if they see someone getting off the train in the middle section, just like Taiwan trains.
If you depart from a large train station, be careful to pay attention to the transfer to the waiting area, there will be no central announcement. I was at Shenzhen North Station that day, and I went there after buying the ticket. The A4 waiting area did not show the train number I bought. It turned out that it was changed to the isolated A6. You can ask the staff standing by nearby. After I asked, I heard the quarantine staff using the loudspeaker to notify me.
☆💰It is also very convenient to pay with cash. You can get change when you buy tickets at the manual counter, so you can keep the change for taking the subway. You just can't take a taxi. There are almost no taxis on the streets in Dongguan. You can try to ask the hotel staff to call a taxi for you and then pay in cash when you come back.
😂I set out on an impromptu trip. I couldn't go to places that were too far away, so I looked for fun places around the subway line.
🚍If you want to go to Humen Town for fun, 🚕 you can't take a taxi, you can check Gaode Map, which has bus information. The actual time may not be as long as shown on the map. There are many motorcycles soliciting passengers on the road.
