We noticed many temples also have got souvenirs with some blessings, huge range of it with different meanings that can be bought home! Psst! Come here before evening to see and enjoy the views during day time.

#naratrip Really enjoyed the energy and peacefulness of this area! At first was only expecting temples and view, but never thought that there are deers surrounding too! So much blending into the nature. There are more temples at the mountain top with paid entrance ticket, but we stop at the middle and bought a wishing-nara-deer as a souvenirs. Ryugatake is a mountain in Shiga Prefecture. If you take the course that goes around Kasaneiwa, it takes about two and a half hours one way. It's a relatively easy mountain to climb, but you need to be careful as the ground can be slippery and there are places where the path splits into several paths. From Kasaneiwa you can get a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Nagoya. If you go on a sunny day, the photos you take from Kasaneiwa are absolutely stunning!!!! It's rare to find a spot where you can take such beautiful photos, so I recommend taking lots of photos here rather than at the summit. I started climbing at 12 noon, and was able to take beautiful photos just right.

Located in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture, the ruins of Azuchi Castle are a magnificent castle built on Mt. Azuchi by Oda Nobunaga, symbolizing his unification of the country. It is a legendary castle that disappeared about three years before Nobunaga was killed in the Honnoji Incident. It had low defensive capabilities and was an unusual structure for castles at the time, but it was the first castle to feature a tenshu (castle tower), which became the basis of later castle construction.
