Dear friends! I just got back from Guizhou recently, and that trip was like opening a magical box full of surprises 🎁. I can’t wait to share this wonderful experience with you.
Preparation
● Documents: ID card, student ID (some scenic spots offer student discounts).
● Clothing: Guizhou’s climate is changeable with big temperature differences between morning and night. Even in summer, bring a light jacket 🧥. If going to mountainous areas, it’s best to wear comfortable sports shoes.
● Medicine: Cold medicine, stomach medicine, motion sickness pills, etc., just in case.
● Others: Sunscreen, umbrella, power bank.
Itinerary
Day 1: Guiyang → Qingyan Ancient Town
● Morning: After arriving in Guiyang, check into the hotel and rest a bit. Then take a bus or taxi to Qingyan Ancient Town.
● Noon: Taste local specialties in the ancient town, such as Qingyan Scholar’s Pork Knuckle, which is reddish and glossy, fatty but not greasy, and every bite is full of happiness 😋. Also try Qingyan tofu, crispy outside and tender inside, with an excellent texture.
● Afternoon: Stroll along the stone-paved streets of the ancient town, admire the Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, and feel the charm of history. Visit attractions like Zhao Gongzhuan Ancestral Hall and Wenchang Pavilion.

Day 2: Guiyang → Huangguoshu Waterfall

Day 3: Guiyang → Libo Xiaoqikong

Day 4: Libo → Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village
● Morning: Head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. Standing on the viewing platform, overlooking the entire Miao village, the densely packed stilted buildings look like a beautiful painting unfolding before your eyes.
● Noon: Enjoy a long table feast in the village, singing and dancing with the warm and hospitable Miao people, experiencing rich ethnic customs.
● Afternoon: Stroll through the village’s commercial street and buy some ethnic handicrafts.
