* Geumsansa Temple, the place where the sorrow of King Gyeon Hwon of Later Baekje is contained 1. Geumsansa Temple Overview It was founded during the reign of King Beop of Baekje during the Three Kingdoms period and is said to have been rebuilt by Jinpyo during the Unified Silla period. It is famous as the place where King Gyeon Hwon, who founded Later Baekje, was confined by his eldest son, Singeom. During the Imjin War, the entire temple was burned down by the Japanese army, and major records were lost. It was rebuilt during the reign of King Injo of Joseon and remains to this day. 2. Representative Artifact: National Treasure No. 62, Mireukjeon It has a typical three-story wooden pagoda style, and it is said that Jinpyo originally enshrined an iron Mireuk here. It feels like a fairy tale space has come to life, and the tree house that Mr. Mizuno personally built, step by step, is truly an amazing place. I came here in early fall 3 years ago, but I couldn't see the inside because there were no seats, so I regretted it and tried again this time. I succeeded! It was a semi-outdoor seat with a terrace? But thanks to the kotatsu, it was warmer than I thought. I recently learned about kotatsu, one of the Japanese heating cultures, and I was happy to experience it right away.
