Getting There • We went there from KL Sentral by bus. The bought our bus tickets via an app called Redbus and the price is RM21.80 for two person. Attractions • The bus will stop at Awana Bus Terminal. From the terminal, we took the cablecar from Awana Skyway and went straight to Genting Skyworlds. There are so many interesting place to go such as the Chin Swee Temple, Skytropolis and a lot more. Food & Restaurants • We had our lunch at a cosy restaurant called The Beena’s Signature Genting restaurant. It is located at the SkyAvenue Genting Highland. There are various of delicious meal to choose from. Shopping • Genting is one of the most popular spot for shopping. You can do your shopping at SkyAvenue and Genting Premium Oulets. There are a lot of premium and branded store there.

#weekendgetaways Genting Highlands located above 1800m elevation provides a perfect weekend gateway destination for individuals, couples, and families of course. Had the chance to enter their Skytropolis Theme Park and enjoyed various fund rides from the extremes to the child-friendly games. When hungry, enjoy the various food offered within then park and succumbed to the chill winds blowing and caressing your face while you eating. Totally immersed myself in the ThemePark here and their is casino for those who wants to try some luck.

#weekendgetaways Good choice of hotel if you want to stay in Genting as it really near to Genting Premium Outlet and Awana Skyway Cable Car Station. Room is quite clean and spacious but maybe some room view is construction site. Staff were helpful and kind . They also provide free shuttle bus going back forth to Genting Premium Outlets. Coffee and pastries also good enough. Interior throughout their lobby also very nice.

The performances were really entertaining, with cool music, awesome costumes, and talented performers who really knew how to get the crowd excited. There was this one show that was full of energy and laughter—totally made my day. The games were just as fun. There were classic carnival games where I tried to win prizes, but honestly, it was harder than it looked! Still, I managed to score a few small rewards, which made me feel like a champ. The thrill rides and attractions also added to the excitement, making it a perfect mix of action and fun for the day.

Genting Highlands is about an hour's bus ride from the center of Kuala Lumpur, and then a ropeway ride from there to the top of the mountain. It's a place where you can enjoy indoor and outdoor amusement parks and shopping, but it's also the only place in Kuala Lumpur that has a casino. You have to line up on the bus to make a reservation, tickets are only available in cash, and you have to buy a round-trip ticket, so it's best to plan in advance. The ropeway station is super crowded, so if you want to save money, it's better to choose the fast pass. In my case, I think I saved a few yen and I've already forgotten how many hours I lined up. It was really tough. When I entered the facility, it was so sparkly that it felt like a place (amusement park) where children, including Pinocchio, turn into donkeys. After exploring the whole facility, I went to the casino room, but I didn't try it because I didn't have the courage to sit at the casino table by myself and I'm a beginner. Genting highlands, Malaysia is a huge place. We book a day trip going their, we had a tour guide and the cable car fare is already included. It was a nice place for shopping and playing arcade. There was this massive temple of buddha and a Chinese shrine. There are luxury stores that sells way cheaper compared to the price in Kuala Lumpur. The arcade was indoor, so if you want to play you can just stay in their mall. There are no plenty of choices of food so you better eat breakfast before you leave KL. I would highly recommend this Ming Chao Bar that located in the Highline bar street as they are selling the cheapest sichuan dishes aside of beers such as Shredded Potato, Tomato Egg and Mapo Tofu. Best thing is, the portion is not big so it is a good choice if you are only 2 - 3 people travelling together. Alternatively, you can test a lot of different dishes at once without worrying if you can finish everything. After the meal, you can even continue with the 2nd round by ordering some alcoholic drinks in the same place!

There are ticket available for all access to the games and ride here. However, there are also people queueing up just to purchase 1 time access to each game, reason being not that everyone could play every available game here. A good place to spend over the weekend and with the kids!
