Mureung Byeolyucheonji in Donghae is known as the Switzerland of Korea for its emerald-colored lakes and beautiful green scenery. Located in Donghae, Mureung Byeolyucheonji was once the Mureung 3rd District where Ssangyong C&E mined limestone for the past 40 years. After the mining operations ceased, it was transformed into a unique tourist destination featuring various experience facilities and two emerald-colored lakes! Mukho Port Nongoldamgil, also famous as a filming location for dramas such as The Heirs and Run On There are quite a few steep slopes, so I was careful because it was snowy, but it was still chosen as a prettier winter travel destination! It's a course where you can see the East Sea no matter where you go, so it's a good place to take a walk and look around. It's a place in front of Donghae Eodal Beach〰️ The sea is right in front of you, and the view is clear through the large windows, so you can enjoy the sea view without any worries💙 ⠀ I went to the 2nd floor because I had to reserve a room in a hurry in June, but the 2nd floor felt a little low, so I recommend the 3rd or 4th floor🙋🏻‍♀️ ⠀ If you happen to go to Eodal, wake up early in the morning and make sure to watch the sunrise! It's a great indoor travel course on a cold winter day, and the strawberries are so sweet and delicious. It is a unique train where the inside of the train is decorated with Christmas all year round, and the Mukho-Gangneung section is even more healing because you can see the ocean. Mukho Lighthouse 💙Address: 289 Haemaji-gil, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do If you are traveling to Donghae, Gangwon-do, one of the must-see courses is Mukho Lighthouse. Unlike other lighthouses, it is located on a high hill, so the wide open ocean view from here is fantastic. It is located quite high, but there is a Nongoldamgil on the way to Mukho Lighthouse, so if you climb up while looking at the walls, it won't feel difficult. I visited Dojjaebigol, a hidden photo spot in the East Sea! 🌉 This new landmark is truly a work of art with its night lights. In particular, the huge sculptures and LED-lit skywalk create a fantastic night view. The walking path along the mountainside is surrounded by soft blue LED lights, making it feel like walking along a starry path.
