A house is a place to live, but also a container of emotions and memories. Therefore, the building is not independent of the world, but is integrated and coexists with the surrounding forests, oceans, and mountains. When living in it, one can deeply feel the temperature and pulse of the environment with every breath and touch. Combining traditional Mexican architectural features with Japanese minimalist philosophy, the hotel draws inspiration from the architectural forms of Kyoto, using warm materials and soft lines to create an atmosphere that is both rustic and tranquil. Materials are not only the cornerstone of architecture, but also the carrier of narrative. Tropical wood is used indoors to give the space a heavy and steady feeling; hand-woven textiles have a soft touch; and stone makes the building seem embedded in the land. Large glass windows blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor areas, projecting flowing light and shadows as time changes. The interweaving of space, materials and light makes it a quiet place for meditation.
The living and dining room adopt an open layout to enhance family interaction; the bedroom is a private sanctuary for meditation and introspection. Circular elements run through the entire interior, whether it is furniture, lights or architectural details, symbolizing the infinite cycle of time and echoing the movement of the sun. This is not just about creating a residence, but also a reflection on "presence", making every moment of daily life precious.
