Getting There - I joined a day tour to Jangtaesan and nearby attractions from Seoul. You can go by KTX or intercity bus too. You can either choose to stroll or hike depending on your fitness level. Highlights - 1. Metasequoia forest You will get very different colours and landscapes depending on which season you go. Personally recommend autumn as you will be able to see a burst of orange, yellow and red. 2. Forest Skyway and Suspension Bridge It is the best way to admire the stunning beauty of the forest and have a panoramic view. 3. Travel and enjoy a warm cup of coffee while looking at the ice wall in Daejeon!? There's news that an ice wall café has appeared in Daejeon, and I went there without much expectation, thinking it wouldn't be anything special, but I was surprised by the unexpectedly majestic and overwhelming ice wall. #Ho-kang-seu For those of you who are planning a trip to Daejeon, I recommend a hotel with good value for money. It's Hotel Sky Park. It's right next to Daejeon Premium Outlet, so it's great for shopping, restaurants, and accessibility. Even at night, the neighborhood is quiet, so you can relax leisurely. The price is reasonable, and since it's a relatively new hotel, the room condition is really good. The rooms are also quite spacious, so it doesn't feel stuffy and is very useful. The amenities were good, and the beds were good, so I was very satisfied with this hotel.

really love this place, went here with my family (2kids and 70 yo mother).. everyone looked so happy! just make sure to pay attention to your child and I don’t recommend to bring your child to hiking the mountain since the trails are pretty dangerous (I brought them and they were very satisfied to conquer the world! haha)
