Always drove past but never explored the Heritage Walk at Tan Hiok Nee street. There are many very retro looking shops and eateries around the area. It’s a place where u can find many of the delicious local food and drinks 🤤. Just need to look out for long queues to spot those popular shops. This is one place that I would highly recommend to shop and eat when u visit JB !

Conveniently situated opposite Komtar JBCC, minutes away from checkpoint. The room is pretty small, but functional. The service there however is pretty limited. You won’t be able to get through to room service or housekeeping.

Place was almost full during early weekday dinnertime Ard 630pm hence expect some waiting time for a table if in large group/weekends. We ordered their signature dishes like San Lou bee hoon(crispy pan fried),deep fried pork cubes,beancurd drenched in soy sauce topped with minced pork and king pork ribs in rich dark soy sauce. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Recently went on a trip to JB and stayed at holiday inn Johor Bahru city centre! As always the hotel is in a perfect location and close to checkpoint making it very convenient to go anywhere. Walking distance to R&F mall to get my authentic Korean bbq fixed and there’s also bazaars on Saturday nights do check it out if you’re going in on a Saturday!
