Longmenhao Old Street, a collection of restaurants, cafes, and a popular photo corner for the Chinese People's Liberation Army. On the 3rd floor of The Ring, there is a very large library corner. It is another very popular spot for taking cool photos. 10. Kuixing Building, Kuixinglou is another place that should not be missed!! A building with one side being the 1st floor and the other side being the 22nd floor. 🌟 **My 4-Day Trip in Chongqing: A City of Stairs, History & Pandas** 🌟 Chongqing is a city that moves at its own pace—laid-back yet full of hidden treasures. Be prepared for stair-filled walks and long journeys, but the adventure is absolutely worth it! 🚶♂️🏙 🛫 **Day 1: Arrival & Downtown Wonders** Landed at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport from Shanghai Hongqiao and hopped on the subway to my hotel—Time Hotel. A bit far from downtown, but budget-friendly and super comfy! Met up with a friend near Libiza Metro Station to catch a glimpse of the famous metro gliding through a building. Dinner at **Hongya Cave**, where I captured a stunning shot of the cave and Qianyu Gate Bridge. You must brave the crowds to cross the bridge, but trust me, the night view is worth every step! 📍Address: 🏮 **Day 2: A Stroll Through Time** Explored **Ciqikou Ancient Town**, a preserved piece of Ming and Qing dynasty history. Walked through its charming streets and even visited the Mahjong Museum! Then, off to **Chongqing Three Gorges Museum**, soaking in layers of history while enjoying a scenic overlook of the **People’s Assembly Hall**. Ended the day with relaxation—a Thai massage inside a ginormous shopping mall, followed by dinner at a Singaporean restaurant. 🌿 **Day 3: Nature’s Majesty at Wulong** An exciting day trip to **Wulong Three Natural Bridges**, known for its breathtaking stone arch bridges and the rotating escalator (yes, it’s a thing!). It was a long journey to the outskirts of the city, but witnessing these incredible natural formations made every second worthwhile. 🐼 **Day 4: Pandas & Tradition** Visited **Chongqing Zoo**, where the adorable pandas stole my heart. Red pandas were a surprising highlight too—cute and playful! Rounded off the day at **Hongya Cave** once again, but this time for something special—a traditional Chinese pictorial! Wore a Chinese outfit for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience. 🌳 **Day 5: Reflection & Farewell** A quiet morning walk around **Central Park** to contemplate before flying back to Shanghai. 🎭 **Final Thoughts:** Chongqing is full of surprises, from historical gems to natural wonders, adorable pandas, and scenic night views. Ciqikou Ancient Town is another place that we felt “Wow, this place is so charming.” Just stepping in, it’s like stepping into an old Chinese town. Old wooden houses, cool stone streets, the atmosphere is warm and ancient, but still lively. The smell of delicious food and people walking by. It’s very pleasant to walk because both sides of the road are full of dessert shops. There are plenty of local foods, cafes, souvenir shops, and there are also shops that rent Chinese clothes for taking pictures. Those who like the retro feel will definitely love it. Personally, I walked a little deeper and found a quiet corner with a view of the Jialing River. It was beautifully quiet. There might be a lot of people at the beginning of the route, but it wasn’t too crowded. It was fun and enjoyable. I could stay there for about 2-3 hours. CRT Red Line, Ciqikou Station, Exit 1 But if there are many people, I recommend Didi. Opening hours 07:00-22:00 #TravelChina

A while ago, I visited Ciqikou Ancient Town, open all day and with free entry. Huangjueping Archway, the former northern gate of ancient Chongqing, greeted me at the entrance. It was a perfect photo spot with calligraphy by a famous scholar. Baolun Temple, facing the Jialing River and backed by White Rock Mountain, offered a serene visit. The "Love Ladder" added a special touch. Diaojiaolou Square, with its "Big Fish & Begonia" style stilted houses, was enchanting, especially at night with lanterns and giant fish. Remembering to avoid photographing Buddha statues without permission and keeping quiet in the temple added to the experience. Ciqikou Ancient Town's charm and beauty left a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit.

Take a ferry to see the view of the two Yangtze Rivers from Hongyadong to Ciqikou or vice versa. The ferry departs every hour and takes about 60-70 minutes. The ferry fare is 30 yuan per person per trip. There will be snacks and drinks for sale on the boat or you can pay extra to sit in the VIP seats in the front of the boat for an additional 20 yuan per person. It looks like an old market with a lot of souvenirs and sweet and savory food to choose from. It is an ancient town located on the banks of the Jialing River on the west side of Chongqing. I recommend this place. There are snacks to eat while walking. There is also a temple inside the ancient market. Directions 🚇Line 1, get off at Ciqikou Exit 1 Open daily from 10:00-22:00
