[Kumamoto Gourmet] A famous sushi restaurant I came across on my trip to Kumamoto 🍣
#DomesticTravel
📍Kumamoto Sushi Ginza Fukuju
We went to the Kumamoto branch of this famous sushi restaurant, whose main store is in Ginza, Tokyo, during our trip to Kumamoto 🍣
There are counter seats and private rooms, and since we visited on a weekend, the counter seats were particularly crowded and we were fully booked.
We ordered the [Omakase Course 12,800 yen]
First, we had a beautifully presented appetizer. And the sushi that was made right in front of us was, as expected, exquisite. They asked us what we liked, and served it with soy sauce and wasabi, which was exquisite and perfectly suited my taste. The chawanmushi with thickened sauce was smooth and delicious, and I was surprised by the texture, which I had never experienced before. I was also shocked when a can of caviar was brought out. It seems like a high-end sushi restaurant, so it seems like it would be intimidating, but the staff were quite young and friendly, so we enjoyed our meal without feeling too formal. It was a wonderful restaurant that I would like to visit again as a reward. Thank you for the meal 🥰
