There is an old saying in Chengde, "The Chaoyang Twin Towers hide fairies, and lingzhi grows in the Yuanbao Cave." Chaoyang Cave is one of the top ten famous mountains in Chengde. 🌟 Chaoyang Cave is more than 20 km from the city center. There is no public transportation, so you can drive to "Chaoyang Cave Scenic Area" on the map. You can go from Shuangfeng Temple or Hongshiya. 🌟 There is only one way up the mountain. Follow the stone steps to Banyue Pavilion, where you can see a long step-like cliff in the distance, like an aircraft carrier. It is called "Danxia Aircraft Carrier" because it is a Danxia landform. 🌟 Next is Guzi Cave, which enshrines the Water Palace Goddess. The Longevity Spring inside is clear and sweet. 🌟 After passing through the Reclining Buddha Cave and Shenlong Habitat, you will reach the entrance of Chaoyang Cave by detouring to the back of the mountain. 🌟 There is a pine tree with one trunk and two branches next to the entrance, called "Lianli Tree," where you can see Tianqiao Mountain in the distance. 🌟 Chaoyang Cave is a naturally formed east-west cave. The entrance is narrow. After passing through a 60-meter-long dark passage, you will reach the east entrance on the cliff. The view suddenly opens up, and there is a Taoist temple inside the cave called Boyue Temple, which enshrines Guanyin and Guan Yu. On the north side, there are Yuhuang Pavilion, Laojun Hall, and Wanxian Cave.

Beidashan Stone Sea Park, enjoy the beauty of nature together, a weekend trip, located in the Beidashan Stone Sea Forest Park in Dengshang Township, Chengde County, it takes more than three hours to go up and down the mountain. The mountain road is rugged, steep and narrow. When going up the mountain, you will pant, and when going down the mountain, your legs will be soft, and you will fall three times. However, the scenery on the top of the mountain is infinitely good, as if the white clouds are at hand, and it is particularly close to the sky.

There are mountains, water, hot springs, and large amusement facilities. Go to Tangjiawan for the National Day holiday. Chengde is crowded during holidays. To make room for tourists, local residents are advised to go to the suburbs for fun. Tangjiawan is a good choice. Tangjiawan is 20 kilometers away from downtown Chengde and is suitable for self-driving. After years of construction, the service facilities are very complete. It has four advantages: Danxia landform, waterfront wetland, hot spring geothermal, and superior geographical location. At present, except for the Tianmen Mountain in the scenic area, which cannot be visited due to the mountain closure, other hot springs, catering and accommodation, and large amusement facilities suitable for children are all in normal operation. And the tickets at the entrance of the scenic area are also free.

The beautiful scenery here is free. ❤Wulie River, the mother river of Chengde, a tributary of the Luan River, is the main water source for the lake area of the Chengde Mountain Resort. The 5-kilometer riverside landscape belt from Fenghe Bridge (Tourist Bridge) to Yingbin Road adds brilliance to the peaks, temples, and gardens of Chengde City, becoming an important part of the city's scenery. The riverside park on the east side of Wulie River has fresh air and a beautiful environment, making it an ideal place for citizens to exercise and keep fit. ❤In the morning, walking along the river, the sparkling river surface and the reflection of Luohan Mountain on the green water create a picturesque scene. Walking south, you will reach the scenic bridge, which was originally a railway bridge and is now a pedestrian bridge. Walking north, you can reach the Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. There is also a statue of Emperor Kangxi galloping on the battlefield at the street corner, and various restaurants with mouth-watering dishes. You can also visit small attractions such as Kuixing Tower and the Folk Museum. ❤The lively daytime scenery of Wulie River adds soul to the city, while the night view with the lights on is even more charming. The colorful lights on the Wulie Bridge Scenic Bridge (Rainbow Bridge) and the neon lights along the riverbank add a romantic atmosphere to the city. 🍵Tips: There are many hotels along the Wulie River. I stayed at the Sofia Hotel, and there are also hotels like Home Inn. The prices are reasonable, and it is very close to the Mountain Resort, just a 900-meter walk to Lizheng Gate.
