Paris Champs Elysées 🇫🇷
#paristrip
On our daily tour around Paris, we finally reached the bottom of the Champs-Élysées of the Concorde Square, heading to the Arc de Triomphe. The entire street about two kilometers long was very full of what I assumed were mainly international tourists through all the many languages I heard.
I had to start looking for restrooms and found some off Concord Square. But they called me €2.00 silly. I tried to explain to the vulgar lady who controls these facilities that I just wanted to empty my bladder.
Looking at her face, it's clear that something was lost in the translation... Interestingly, a number of other guests refused to pay such impressive fees.
Anyway, we continued our long walk on the street. I was looking for a fairly large branch of Abercrombie & Fitch that I have visited in the past but this seems to have gone now. But the two women in the family discovered the Disney store so I had the opportunity to wait outside because they spent hours inside. Inside there was a massive international tourist crush... However, it gave me a chance to watch people – and there are many weird people who go up and down the street here.
When the family came back together, we continued until the Arc de Triomphe. From here we took the metro in the Charles de Gaulle place heading to Montmatter and Sacre Cor.
