This trip to Cha-am lasted an almost 2-day, 1-night trip, but he only had one day to truly enjoy himself. So, he chose to stay at a beachfront hotel. In the morning, he took a relaxing stroll along Cha-am beach before visiting Wat Tham Chaeng to pay respects to the large Naga statue. Walking under its belly is believed to bring good luck. The walkway up was adorned with beautiful red ribbons. Of course, you have to find your own spot to tie your ribbon! It was early morning, but the sun was already strong. There weren't many tourists, so it was a comfortable walk with a cool breeze. There were lucky charms for sale. I bought a five-line amulet bracelet because I was too shy to get a tattoo myself. The price wasn't too high, making it easy to start seeking blessings. There's also an unfinished temple building, but it looks like it will be beautiful once completed. This spacious villa features a balcony directly connected to the lagoon pool, offering a tranquil atmosphere. The villa is designed with two levels: the upper level houses the bedroom and bathroom, while the lower level serves as a living area. As mentioned, the wellness offerings here are exceptional. We tried the services at AvaniWell, which has a wide range of programs. I opted for the Seashell Massage, a unique experience where seashells filled with heated herbal ingredients are used to massage and press on various points of the body, alternating with oil massage. It was incredibly relaxing. Meanwhile, my partner chose the Shirodhara program, an Ayurvedic therapy from India involving a continuous stream of warm herbal oil poured onto the forehead for about 60 minutes, combined with a head, neck, shoulder, and back massage. This program helps relieve stress, headaches, and insomnia, and he absolutely loved it. In the evening, we dined at Brezza Beach Bar & Restaurant. The food here is excellent, with delicious flavors and high-quality ingredients. Each dish has a story, and we loved how the chef creatively used locally sourced ingredients to craft unique menus for us to enjoy. For breakfast, we ate at Staa's Restaurant near the lobby. It’s a buffet-style breakfast with an impressive variety of dishes, so much so that it was hard to choose what to eat. There’s even a dedicated kids’ food corner. This is one of our favorite resorts in the Cha-Am-Hua Hin area. What impressed me was the amenities, which were Malin+Goetz. It smelled a bit like "traditional medicine," which was unusual, but also pleasant in a different way. The highlight here is the large, magnificent swimming pool, perfect for families. The kids should have a blast. Breakfast was good for the price. The room price wasn't too steep, but it offered a decent variety. Although some items were the same every day, like salads, Thai dishes, and rice porridge, the overall standard was good. There was a seminar on the day I stayed, so the hotel was almost full. It was quite noisy in the early evening, but it quieted down around 7 p.m., so it wasn't too disturbing. The restaurant was crowded, but I went there early, so I didn't have any problems. Overall, it was okay for the price. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, the location is a bit far from Hua Hin city center, so it might be inconvenient if you have to go into town often.

The room I booked was spacious, decorated in a blend of colonial and Thai styles, and fully equipped with amenities. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the balcony provided a relaxing spot to enjoy the sea view. The swimming pool has been newly renovated and looks stunning. We often go to Hua Hin and always stay at Dusit Thani. We really enjoy the breakfast here, the facilities, and the hotel staff. It's not that we've never had a problem with our stay, but if there is, the staff are willing to help and try to fix it. This time, I came to celebrate my birthday and requested a happy birthday. The hotel arranged it very nicely and the cake was delicious (this is subject to availability). You have to request it in advance. Another fun thing is that the hotel offers free activities every day, according to the schedule. If you're staying for more than a few days, there are so many activities to do!!
