Mt Cook - The Tallest Mountain in NZ!
Mount Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand and also one of the most scenic places to hike at.
There are 10 different short walks that you can take from Mount Cook Village, but the most popular one is the Hooker Valley Track. The walk begins at the visitor centre or the White Horse Hill campground/carpark. The track takes about 2-3 hours return and is an easy track with very rewarding views of the snow-capped mountains.
Along the way, you will have to walk across three swing bridges and goes along the Hooker River, ultimately leading you to a glacier lake. The glacier lake makes a really great photography spot with the snowy mountains as a backdrop!

A short yet stunning track everyone can do!
-Kea Point Track-
If you are looking for a simple and easy track to do, then you must not miss out on this!
In just a 1 hour return hiking trail, Kea Point offers a real stunning scenery once you reach the viewing deck. You are rewarded with not just 1 but 3 iconic landmarks such as the mueller lake, hooker valley and Mount cook!
You will also spot the moraine wall which is the large black black which is created by remnants left behind by a moving glacier.
If possible, plan ahead for this trip and visit here during a good weather to prevent any clouds/fogs from covering the fascinating view!
I must say, this is one of the most relaxing yet rewarding hike I’ve done in New Zealand!

The most worthwhile prison accommodation in Christchurch, New Zealand
Tell the prison, Jailhouse Accommodation is housed in a refurbished 1874 building, formerly Addington Prison, with Gothic architecture and history. A long showroom.
15 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport, 200-500rmb per night depending on the number of "Prisoners" in the room. Prison accommodation is a great experience for this trip, although the room is small, the bathroom is shared, and there is no elevator to carry your own luggage. But the win is clean and tidy in the public areas, cost-effective and very interesting. On the day we arrived, the front desk was a Chinese migrant travel sister who gave us many help groups and suggestions. This hotel is very hot. It is recommended that you advance three months in advance in the early season and two months in the off-season in the flat season.
MagicRabbit.
Talking about the origin of the name of Christchurch, it is said that in the early years, many British explorers and gold diggers came to the city, unaccompanied, and there was no place to stay. The priests opened the church door and gave them a place to live. Later, the more churches were covered, the more the city was named.
But God did not care too much about the city associated with his name. A major earthquake in 2011 caused many landmarks in the city, including the cathedral, to be completely ruined. The shootings in 2019 were even more shocking.
Fortunately, the people of Christchurch are quite strong and have restored urban order in a very short time.
Step into the city, clean roads, dense forest shades, blooming flowers make people fascinated by this "garden city".
You can take a nostalgic tram and browse the elegant buildings along the road. The art and culture here is full of mellowness, making people forget everything and feeling the simplicity and tranquility of life.
I also see the brightest and most beautiful sunsets here, presumably before God's test of this city, let it experience the vicissitudes of life, and then protect it with Xiaguang, and finally make the phoenix of Christchurch nirvana , it has become more colorful and colorful.

[Face Travel] New Zealand's treasure land, Kaikoura
snow mountain ~ sea ~ dolphins ~ whales ~ Kaikoura with snowy mountains and seas really meet all my needs!
When I was in Kaikoura, I was shocked by the fire, Yunxue Mountain. This place with snowy mountains and seas, let me see the direct scenery dog on the line, just want to stay here to take pictures!
Looking for a hotel by the sea, even eating to the snowy mountains and the sea, really happy to burst! Going out to sea to see dolphins, you can also swim with dolphins, and the number of dolphins is the most I have ever seen. I feel that these elves are waiting for people to play with them every day! There are a few dramas that keep spinning and jumping, for fear that I can't see them!
Take a walk on the Kaikoura Peninsula trail and overlook the entire peninsula. Its really beautiful!
If you can, really want to stay here! Regrettably, I missed so many good scenery last year, from Wellington to Picton to Kaikoura, this line is really treasure!

Traveling in Kaikoura, New Zealand, allows you to harvest a full sea fishing.
Sea fishing is an entertaining, fun-oriented activity that is very cost-effective and can be eaten and eaten.
Kaikoura is the meaning of lobster dinner in Maori. It is conceivable how rich the resources are! The town is located on the north side of Christchurch, a two-hour drive, close to the Pacific Ocean, and further north is the wine resort of Marburg.
Exit 1.5-2h, Advance reservation: Sea fishing is a very popular activity, and each boat is about 10 people, so be sure to find a local tourist office, travel agency or network to make an appointment in advance. I am a relatively large ship and it is not easy to get seasick compared to a boat.
After the ship has stopped, the captain will teach you how to put the line and take the line. But there is no skill at all, because the sea fish is too stupid, and its just a bit of a hook! That is, the arm line will shake more sour!
The size of the fish needs to be fished up, and the small fish will be thrown back into the sea to continue to grow.
Wait for the fish to catch up with the captain and drive to the place where the lobster cage was previously thrown. Yes, lobsters are not caught and caught in cages. This is the time to fight for the character. Some cages may not have one, everyone is mentally prepared!
Like fish, lobsters are also small in size and too small to be returned to the sea. In addition, the lobster obtained by sea fishing must be tailed.

New Zealand's winter is like a silent confession - its "no winter north", snow-capped mountains and colorful festivals... all invite you to New Zealand to create a "summer winter" exclusive memory.
We are three holiday families, most of them live in the holiday house. New Zealand's tourism industry is very developed, all accommodations are clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete.
The Mount Cook National Park is covered with thick snow in winter and is very beautiful under the blue sky and white clouds.
Dress up a fairytale dream with a pure white snow mountain and breathe the cool air of nature on the clear lake. As the sun's rays grow stronger, it always looks forward to the eternal cool and pure kingdom of "Frozen" in the heat, and New Zealand in winter is able to round you a "fairy dream."
There is not only a stretch of snow-capped mountains between the sky and the sea, but also the local residents who have been inhabited for a long time in this land. There are millions of mysterious land waving between their wings. A memory of winter.

Today, I traveled to Mount Cook National Park and drove from Tekapo for an hour or so. The time was just right. It will also pass through Lake Pukaki on the road and is one of the most beautiful lakes in New Zealand. Although the blue Tekapo made me marvel, the milk-colored Pukaki is equally shocking. The crystal clear milk blue, sparkling in the sunlight, the sky or dotted with a few clouds, makes people feel refreshed.
Mount Cook is part of the world's natural heritage, with the highest point, Mount Cook, at an altitude of 3,724 meters, not only the highest point in New Zealand, but also the highest point in Oceania. There are 23 high mountains in New Zealand with an altitude of over 3,000 meters, 19 of which are here. It is also the New Zealand Mountaineering Center. Taking into account the actual situation of several rookies, we are still clear-cutting a Hooker Valley Track, a classic and not too tired hiking trail. 4 hours of walking, in exchange for the beautiful scenery along the road. Opposite the glacier lake at the end of the road, Mount Cook is unobstructed in front of us.

I have something to say about traveling in New Zealand!
| I finally had time to organize the photos after returning from New Zealand for more than a month!
The whole journey was perfect, exceeding my husband and my expectations. My English is not very good. I wanted to drive by myself, but I felt it was difficult to drive. I didn't want to follow the group to punch in like a special soldier. My husband has cleanliness and has requirements for accommodation. Difficulties can't stop two hearts that want to see the world, haha, relatives living in New Zealand recommended a driver and brother to us, the brother helped us piece together another couple, four people throughout the Alpha, saving money and effort, perfect, no matter where you go in the future In which country, the road to find a driver is locked, and the whole journey is very comfortable!
Total cost 💰46,000 (two people tickets ➕ hotel ➕ driver ➕ Alpha)
Christchurch stayed at the Hilton Hotel, tasted the tomahawk steak at night, ordered a bottle of red wine, and hoped that the 8-day South Island trip would go smoothly!
Tekapo, stayed for two nights, was lucky to see the Milky Way, the mountaintop coffee shop overlooking Tekapo Lake, can only be described as shocking! The sashimi in the salmon farm melts in the mouth, and there are several plates in a row! The grilled fish head is also delicious, it's really drooling while writing.... The Cook Mountain trekking saw the beautiful glacier lake, the brother took us to a few punch-in positions, no skills are all big movies haha!
Queenstown 3 nights, want to play extreme but small courage, finally chose the boat on the lake, it is also very exciting and cool! The century-old steamboat is very distinctive, delicious buffet, watched the sheepdog driving the sheep flock that has been seen on the screen. Glenorchy, the small town of the Lord of the Rings, the scenery along the way can't be put down by the camera, it is worthy of the last pure land in the world! Queenstown city center mall, bought a lot of small gifts, bought the coveted alpaca quilt, the big northeast winter must be warm!
Wanaka's lonely tree is very artistic, sitting by the lake for a long time, very decompression~
Seeing that I love desserts, the brother took us to a century-old bakery on the way back, the gospel of dessert lovers! It's so delicious!!
The little penguins in Oamaru 🐧🐧🐧 are so cute, waiting for more than an hour to climb out of the sea when it gets dark, it is said to be the smallest blue penguin in the world, the largest is only 1kg, invincible cute, really want to hug one back Home haha!
Except for the hotel in Christchurch, the others are all big houses arranged by the brother for us, high-end and comfortable. If you find it yourself, you really can't find these treasure houses... Follow the brother, resolutely not step on the pit, very powerful!
The perfection of the trip far exceeded expectations. Before boarding the plane, my husband transferred an extra 1,000 red envelopes to the brother 🧧 and was ruthlessly returned. The brother said that everything should be done. I didn't say anything, full of emotion, absolutely full service! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
After returning to China, I felt that I bought less Manuka honey, and asked the brother to help mail six more bottles. This is good, and I don't have to worry about the special products in New Zealand, haha!

New Zealand's South Island | Snap masterpieces on the road
New Zealand is a very photogenic country, where the scenery you pass by on the road can attract photography enthusiasts to stop their cars and take vigorous shots, producing masterpieces effortlessly.
Driving freely is the best way to explore this country. You can stop and go without any plan, just need to sort out the daily accommodation in advance, and GPS is omnipotent. For family trips, it is highly recommended to rent a campervan, as New Zealand's camping facilities are very well-equipped. With a little money, you can use the campsite's bathroom facilities and kitchen supplies stove. Just buy some super cheap lamb chops or beef steaks🥩 from the supermarket, and you can immediately start a BBQ party, which is much more cost-effective than expensive hotels in the city.
Departing from Christchurch all the way to Queenstown, the scenery is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless. The biggest pain point is that the landscape is too magnificent; even ultra-wide-angle or panoramic photography is not enough, and you can only continue to use your eyes to press the shutter, which is such a pity!

Castle hill in NZ
Eforerica
Castle Hill, also known as Kura Tawhiti by the indigenous Maori Tribe Ngai Tahu, is one of the most popular stops on the scenic Arthur's Pass Drive.
This iconic setting was used as the backdrop for a battle in the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. It also appears in the iconic Lord of the Rings scene where the Fellowship take rest amongst a rocky plateau en route to the Misty Mountains.
This area is known as one of the world's best bouldering locations, and climbers flock here to challenge their skills.

Kaikoura sea fishing | fun, delicious, cost-effective
early morning, the gloomy sky from time to time, some rain, the wind blowing on the beach, blowing people can not stand. However, the eight-point sea fishing has not been canceled. If I came to Captain Ian's house, I saw him drinking coffee and the yellow boat on the lawn. I thought it was in the sea and then boarded the ship. I didn't expect it to be on the lawn of his backyard. His wife drove the car and took the boat. We started off the land! I just wanted to shoot the video but I drove into the sea. Then, when the wind and the waves swayed the boat, we made a sudden start. It was violently shaken in the first five minutes. Who knows that after a while, I can take my people from the seat to the air, and when I fall down again, my butt hurts, my hands are on the armrests, my feet are hard to step on the ground, I just fly again and again. Get up, stimulating, afraid not.
About about a quarter of an hour, we stopped, the captain broke down to the bottom of the sea and began to set up the fishing rod. The electric fishing rod imported from Japan has reached more than 100 meters in a blink of an eye. Everyone has a fishing rod. The captain guides us one by one, and teaches us to look at the top of the pole, shake the fish and so on. Before I came to the big lobster, I was not interested in fishing. Who knows that fishing is quite fun, especially when I wait for the prey to hook up and raise the fishing rod. I am very happy when I finally raise the fishing rod. The last ten meters will be shaken manually. Sometimes two, sometimes nothing, in short, 2 hours passed very fast. The premise is that you eat seasickness medicine.

Forests, pastures, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, plateau lakes... these classics are all gathered in Mount Cook National Park. As one of the locations of the movie "Lord of the Rings", Mount Cook is like a big brother, stationed in the middle of the South Island, the beautiful scenery attracts countless tourists, with a sincere heart to follow the beauty.
The summit of Mount Cook, which stands at the top of the peak, is covered with snow and ice all year round. The perennial snow melts and merges into the breathtaking blue lake Lake Tekapo. Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo are like a pair of lovers, magnificent and gentle.
The last stop of Mount Cook is Lake Wanaka. From Wanaka to Mount Cook, you will pass through Pukaki Lake, heading north from the west bank of Pukaki Lake and heading to Mount Cook. Known as one of the most beautiful self-driving roads in the South Island. On the right side of the
car is the beautiful pukaki blue water, the front of the car is the snow mountain top of the Cook Mountains, this scenery is definitely one of the rare in the South Island.

Kaikoura Farm Park has more than 100 kinds of animals in Kaikoura Farm Park. Visitors can visit, caress and hand-fed, and feel the unique and traditional experience of free-range farms. Visitors can bring a picnic or barbecue to the park, where there is a comfortable area for dining and enjoying the view of Pfeiffer. Woke up in the morning at Mount Cook Village, and was awakened by the red color in the gap between the curtains that were not tightened. Quickly put on the jacket and rushed to the viewing platform on the second floor.
At this time there are already other people on the platform, everyone is an action: raise the phone to shoot. Pushing open the door and going out of the house, the temperature in the village of Cook Hill is very low in the early morning, and the clear air reveals the coldness of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains, which makes me feel excited. In front of it is a magnificent picture. The sky in the east was reddish by the red sun. Yesterday, the snow-capped peak of Mount Cook under the blue sky slightly faded from the fascinating side of the new sunrise, revealing the feeling of being as shy as a girl. Sunrise and sunset are very, the light and shadow are changing rapidly. I dare not leave a step, and use the camera to record the wonderful moment in front of me. At the same angle, after ten minutes, the skylight returned to normal blue. The sunnyness of the morning brought the cloudy days of the next two days. It was not until three days later that we returned to Christchurch to see the blue sky and the sun. Therefore, there is no best viewing star in Tekapo, to see the Milky Way. Another big pity is that during the few days we were in the South Island, the Aurora broke out in New Zealand, and the circle of friends was not seen.
However, the Milky Way and the early morning sun seen in Mount Cook made up for this regret.

Christchurch's most loved landmark tram restaurant, Tramway~ Mobile Restaurant, operates from 7:00 to 9:30, with food passing through the city's night scenes, passing through culture and passing through history. Also surprised to see a lovely old man's anniversary to his wife's romantic roses and dinner, the night of love! [Moon]

In the Kaikoura sea fishing, how is the harvest processed and eaten? We chose the simple method: processing in the restaurant. The processing fee is not cheap, one lobster 20nzd, one fish and fish fillet 16nzd.
Know that we can't eat, I sent two of our motel owners. Lobster has chosen three practices: salt and pepper, onion ginger, lobster porridge; red grouper steamed, fish fillet steamed with beans, and a fish made of pickled fish, but not recommended. Look, this is the meat of the lobster tail. This piece is compared with the spoon, so you know how big it is.
New lobster belongs to the precious seawater economic shrimp species. The whole body is dark red, the claws are red, and the meat is very delicious. The practice of
salt and salt is also very good, the skin is crispy and has the aroma of fried food. It is because of the uncomfortable halo in the process of sea fishing, so in the end, the delicious food is served on the table, and the happiness is really high.

When I came to Christchurch, it was in the early spring. In the small courtyard of the hotel, there was a cherry blossom in the small courtyard, the cherry blossoms in the sun, the locals riding and walking in Hagri Park, and the play on the sun lawn with my son... Everything here makes us fully feel the freedom and slow pace of New Zealand. This is the rhythm and life that New Zealand should have!

Two and a half hours north of Christchurch, you can reach Kaikoura, the most famous place to watch the sperm whales. However, the decisive factor for whale watching is often the weather outside the control. If you can go out to sea, 90% should be able to see the sperm whale. If you are lucky, you can see 2-3 times. Places, often seeing dolphins diving collectively. Of course, if you can't go to the sea to watch whales, then leisurely walk in the rocky beach, look at the seagull's quarrel and the lazy walk of the seal is also a good choice.
The world of people is constantly arguing, and the world of birds is also divided~~
If the seagull seems to have a little temper sometimes, then the seal is more like a sly old man, lazy sun Looking at the sun, calmly watching a group of people, it seems that we are the Western scenery in its eyes ~ suddenly got up and waved and want to go back to the sea, before going down the water, don't forget to smile back and put a POSE~~
Kekula - People and animals naturally live in harmony, do not have to walk into the zoo, because this is a large animal park without fences~

More than 170 gardens are like stars in this exquisite city, and are the garden city in the well-deserved garden country.
Whether you are in that area or just walking, you can always arrive. For tourists, the BONATIC GARDEN (botanical garden) and HAGELY GARDEN (Hagley Park) surrounded by the AVON River are among the representatives. They are dark green, emerald green, and purple, and they are full of vitality. If they are radiant, they can also Walk into the Canterbury Museum across the wall to learn about the country, the growth of the region~

The first stop for most visitors to New Zealand's South Island is Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island, where the largest airport in the South Island is. Basically, the price of amaranth vegetables in the Chinese restaurant in South Island is almost the same, with more than one hundred yuan. I ate the food and went to the supermarket to buy the ingredients. The next day, the elders made breakfast early. After the meal, the sun was shining. I went out to run along the street outside the house. When I returned, I went to the corner cafe and ordered a latte. I found that I didn't bring any money. I had to say to the waiter: "I live nearby and immediately ran back to get the money." The waiter waved and said: "No, I want this cup of coffee." The New Zealand people are really friendly.
Desperado.
The Kaikoura Peninsula Trail allows you to easily explore the beauty of the Kaikoura Peninsula and a variety of wildlife. You can choose to walk the trail for half a day or a day. If the time is not sufficient, you can choose to spend 25 minutes to experience the first part of the trail at Whalers Bay viewpoint. You can experience the magnificent scenery of the mountains in the sea from anywhere in the trail. In Kaikoura, the Peninsula Trail is a must-see for lovers of photography and hiking.

Christchurch, known as the Garden City, is the third largest city in New Zealand and the largest city in the South Island. It was built 150 years ago and is surrounded by well-planned gardens. Since most of the early immigrants were British, the historic buildings of the city have the characteristics of British Victorian era. The British also gave Christchurch a new definition of outside the UK, most like a British city. But the earthquake in 2011 made Christchurch a big blow. After years of construction, it has added elements of modernization and innovation to the damaged cultural heritage. The city is gradually showing new style.
There is a small church next to lunch, which is half destroyed by the earthquake like most churches in Christchurch, but now the surrounding gardens and cemeteries have been repaired better, quiet and beautiful. The two major earthquakes have had a great impact on Christchurch. Earthquakes can be seen everywhere, and there is a hope next to the church, hoping that Christchurch will get better and better.

Castle Hill Castle Hill, "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" is one of the locations, the Lord of the Rings must come to punch. These natural giant rock formations composed of limestone, sandstone, tuff and other components, the limestone that settled in the sea before the history, has risen to an altitude of about 700 meters due to the change of the earth's crust. It seems to be visually very shocking. The weird stone, lying on the gentle ridge, suddenly felt that there would be a half-orc from which stone.

As a seafood control, a fisherman who can make a harvest at sea is also a yearning.
It was rainy in Kaikoura for two days, the scenery was discounted, and the sea fishing was postponed for one day. Fortunately, the fishery is still rich, one male and one female, two large lobsters, and several fishing rods. I have to say that the awareness of sustainable development is really good. Every lobster and fish should be measured, even if its a little bit worse. Putting it back into the sea, we caught more than 20 lobsters in a boat, leaving only 6 bodies qualified, and the fish that we put back are more... This will ensure that we and our descendants have big lobsters to eat! At night, the lobsters are eaten twice, and the sashimi is great. The special sweet squid slices are fried for a few hours. The simple butter lemon is very delicious. But the delicious food is really hard to come by. In the second half, the two of us spit again and again. The storms in New Zealand are too big. We used to be so embarrassed in the Maldives and Fiji, so it is recommended that the partners be mentally prepared before going out

Kaikoura is located between Christchurch and Picton Harbour, and Christchurch is about 185 km north and can be reached by car in about 2.5 hours. There are trains (coastline, not operating in winter) and long-distance buses to get there. This unique combination of ocean and mountains has a stunning coastal alpine landscape. The Kaikoura Range facing the sea rises from the sea. It is a branch of the Southern Alps. Most of the peaks are covered with snow all year round. . A one-way walk takes one and a half hours. Considering the return to the parking spot, it takes 3-4 hours to complete the return. The general tour is to drive to the north starting point, go back and go for more than half an hour to return, then drive to the south to see it. Here is a peninsula formed by volcanic magma into the sea. It forms a cliff-like connection with the sea. From the north, you can see the embarrassment of fur sea lions, bird watching in the south, or going out to sea. Whether climbing from the north or south, it is a platform-like prairie that overlooks the Kaikoura Bay. It is spectacular and beautiful, and you can see whales with good luck.
