All Moments About Calca Province
A ruin with plenty to see that you can explore at your own pace!
🕰️Opening hours 8:00 - 16:30
💰Price per person: 70 soles
💞Reason for recommendation: You can go around at your own pace!
Pisac ruins are located in a village called Pisac, about an hour by bus from Cusco in Peru🇵🇪!
I thought it would be hard to get to Machu Picchu, so I decided to go see these ruins.
The ticket is a little expensive at 70 soles, but it is valid for two days and allows you to enter four ruins: Ollantaytambo ruins, Moray ruins, and Chinchero ruins.
*If you actually try to visit these four ruins in two days, it will be a pretty tight schedule.
*There is also a ticket valid for 10 days for 130 soles.
There are two entrances, one at the top and one at the bottom of the mountain, but I think it would be easier to take a taxi to the entrance on the top of the mountain and go down.
There weren't many people so I was able to wander around freely and look around at my own pace ☺️ I think it's safe for people like me who don't have much stamina!
Overseas travel Peru Pisac's mysterious ruins observatory Pisac Q'allaqasa
#Overseas travel
Overseas travel ⭐️Pisac Q'allaqasa (citadel)⭐️ in Parque Arqueológico Pisac in Peru Pisac is the highest ruin in the center. It takes about 20-30 minutes to hike to the top from Parque Arqueológico Pisac. You can see cute alpacas during the hike. Since it is a high mountain, if you are careful about altitude sickness, you can see a beautiful view of the terraced farmland, Pisac, and the Andes River in front, so I recommend going to the top.

Parque Arqueológico Pisac in Pisac, Sacred Valley, Peru
#Overseas travel
Overseas travel Located in Pisac, Peru, ⭐️Parque Arqueológico Pisac⭐️ is one of the Inca's aerial cities, where you can see the stone buildings and terraced farmland built at that time. It was built a long time ago, and it is said that white corn was mainly planted in the farmland. There are various hiking courses, and restrooms and facilities are well-equipped, so it is a good tourist destination to spend a long time.

Mirador Taray, a beautiful viewpoint in Pisac, Peru, for overseas travel
#Overseas travel
Overseas travel Peru ⭐️Mirador Taray⭐️ is a lookout point that you can see on the way from Cusco to Pisac. It boasts a great view that allows you to see Pisac at a glance, and in front of it, you can see the river flowing from the Andes Mountains. Because it is high in altitude, the view from here is different from the view from other places.

Pisac Ruins in the Sacred Valley of the Incas
Pisac Ruins, located about 33 kilometers from Cusco, Peru, are situated near the town of Pisac on a mountaintop and cover a vast area. A thorough exploration requires half a day. I joined a local tour, which was time-limited but provided fascinating historical insights and interesting anecdotes.
The site features houses built along the mountain, with stone walls and thatched roofs, exuding a strong sense of history. The small cavities on the mountain walls were once burial sites for commoners during the Inca period. The semi-circular terraces extending from the mountain down into the valley are truly spectacular. Hundreds of years ago, the Incas cultivated these terraces, but since being designated as a national cultural heritage site, they are now protected and no longer used for farming.
From the mountaintop, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful valley, creating unforgettable memories.
