Everything is worth it
Mt. Makiling (Maquiling) is a dormant volcano in the provinces of Laguna and Batangas in the Philippines. Before becoming a state-owned forest reserve, this was the country's first national park. For forestry education, it is under the University of the Philippines - Los Banos. According to legend, the forest is protected and guarded by a spirit known as "Maria Makiling." If you look closely at the mountain, you'll notice a woman resting, specifically Maria Makiling. In the Philippines, stories about her helping others or being saddened are common.
The climb to the summit will take about 4–5 hours; however, you should not be concerned because there are rest spots along the way. Camping is permitted so make sure to bring your camping stuffs.

Truly out of this world’s parrot peak
This is a stunning hike with stunning rewards for those who are willing to take on the obstacles. The trail can be steep and slow, and the slick conditions can make it dangerous at times; as a result, this is probably not the best hike for a beginner.
If you reach it all the way to the top, you'll be standing just below Cavite's highest point. Do you have a strong desire to try something new? Climbers can climb to the top of Parrot's Peak for an incredible view, but it's not for the faint of heart.

Stunning view from the summit
In the Batangas, this is another another popular hike. You reach the famed Rockies about an hour into the moderate climb, when you must struggle over a boulder field to continue your journey. The vast majority of hikers focus just on reaching the Rockies, but if you're feeling up to it, you can push yourself even further!
It's a difficult, sometimes perilous climb, but when you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with one of the best views of Taal Lake anywhere, as well as a stunning perspective of the Batangas.

Conquering mount Batulao
This is one of the most popular hikes in Batangas and undoubtedly one of the greatest introductory hikes in the Philippines. Before reaching the peak, the modest terrain takes you past a series of smaller, vibrantly green mountaintops.
From this vantage point, you'll have a breathtaking perspective of the Batangas' many coastal villages. While the trek takes approximately eight hours round trip, it is crucial to allow time to enjoy the scenery at the summit. There are a handful of campgrounds along the way if you really want to take your time.

If you want to find peace and comfort, go to this place! The National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio is located in Barangay San Pedro, Santo Tomas, Batangas. The travel time from Manila to Santo Tomas is around two hours, depending on the traffic condition. It became one of the most significant landmarks, not only in the town of Santo Tomas but also in Batangas. It attracts thousands of visitors, mostly pilgrims from the neighboring towns and provinces and even outside the country especially during every 23rd of the month and September 23 for the Feast of Padre Pio and number of people attending the mass is not ordinary!

The Caleruega Church is very solemn place I can say. No much crowd. The road going to this church are quite rough, when You enter the gate You will feel the solemnity of the place. Quite and peaceful... Very clean and well maintained place. And the area is very relaxing, with lots of green lush, the view, the landscape, masterpiece architectural design, everything is awesome. . It’s like you had a very good escape from reality and from a hustle bustle crowded and noisy Manila. Just get a good spot where you wanted to sit, relax and even meditate. People here respect other people and they don’t really get noisy even those who are travelling in a group. This place is one of the most liked Churches to have the Sacrament of Marriage. They also have some Retreat Houses. This trip really is super worth it and I would love to come back again. Entrance fee is PHP 50.00

The Taal Basilica is the most prominent structure in Taal Park, which also harbors several buildings including Escuela Pia: Taal Heritage Center, the Rizal College, and Our Lady of Caysasay Academy (where the kids in our family go to for afterclass tutorials). Well visiting Taal Basilica is one of the best experience. It is the largest church in Asia. We should love our own country. Feeling blessed.
