In the beautiful suburb of Burwood, in Sydney's inner west there's a gorgeous Greek Orthodox church in the midst of the shopping bustle. Mummy is from Serbia, but tells me and Cuddly that Serbians and Greeks are best friends! And the churches aren't any different apart from the language 🇬🇷 Greeks are such cool people and they make amazing biscuits! And in the church we felt a sense of calm, looking at all the beautiful Byzantine art. It's mummy's favourite and we certainly see why! #voyagevibes #familytravel #familytrip #sydney #staycation

🌳A Walk In The Park🌳

Yesterday mummy took us to the park 🏞️ Burwood park to be precise, when she used to go to for walks. Cuddly and I loved it too, hence definitely saw the beauty mummy sees in it. It has something for everyone! Sun, shade, a playground, and a pond where you can read a book! It was a lovely day, and afterwards mummy took us for dinner at our favourite pizzeria on the North Shore! We might just write about that when we go next time. Blast in Burwood!

We had the pleasure yet again of going to one of our favourite places! Burwood! A beautiful, bustling suburb of Sydney's inner west we always have a good time! And this time the stay was something extra because we happened to find a relic from the old Burwood Westfield of many years ago. After a lovely night at the cosy Crowne Plaza, there was another touch of nostalgia when mummy took us for breakfast at the Coffee Club where they cheese toasts from Sizzler! My cub Cuddly and I didn't know what that was until Mummy told us it was an eatery from the 90s that used to be popular. You learn something new everyday!#familytrip

Staycation in the inner west

We went to Burwood a few months ago with mummy. We loved it! We stayed at the hotel, went to the park and the Westfield. It's a beautiful suburb, and the Crowne Plaza Burwood is clean and cosy, and we cuddled each other with mummy all night!

Cute Ice Cream Place in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾

#2024wish 📍Monster Ice Cream Malaysia 28, Jalan SS 15/4, SS 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor One of my favourite place to visit for dessert in Kuala Lumpur! They serve one of the best ice cream, it was soft and creamy, melts instantly in mouth and literally perfect for the hot weather in Malaysia. We ordered the uji matcha ice cream that comes with two toppings of choice (we ordered mochi, red bean paste and jelly ones). Matcha ice cream was so cute with the 2 eyes and love the presentation of ice cream, layers of ice cream! Also, matcha ice cream was so good, strong matcha taste and not too sweet, pairing it with the toppings was a 10/10! Other than the famous ice cream, they also have other desserts like waffles, snacks, drinks. Love the interior, very spacious and comfortable, cute Japanese style tatami seatings too. We love it! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul!

If I didn't say this was in Sydney, Australia, could you tell? The atmosphere is thick with the New Year's spirit, all familiar scents, as if you haven't left the country! At the end of the Spring Festival, during the Lantern Festival, the "2023 Jade Rabbit Welcomes Spring Lantern Festival" was held in Burwood Park, Sydney. The grand Lantern Festival event ignited the Chinese community! There is a wide variety of food, performances, and activities! Even overseas, you can still feel the New Year's spirit through these events, which make you feel the warmth of home! The Lantern Festival is a common festival for us Chinese, and on this day, it is sure to be a lively and festive day!
