Brussels is a small but warm city with lovely people.
This trip we traveled to France - Netherlands - Belgium.
One of the places that impressed us was Brussels, Belgium because the people here are very lovely. The atmosphere of walking around in the evening is so chill, I can't describe it.
After wandering around Paris, France and the Netherlands, the next stop was Belgium, Brussels. We took the Thalys high-speed train here, which took only an hour and a half, very convenient. We came to find the statue of a peeing boy (scroll to the 3rd picture). It's really cute, lol. Walking around here is like a night market. You won't get lost. It's very convenient. Both sides of the road are walking streets with many foreign tourists. Women can walk around without any danger. Both sides of the road are filled with laughter, music and songs. Sometimes when walking, we saw people dancing in the middle of the street. We really like this place.
There are a lot of people busking and they are very handsome, lol. I forgot to mention that the famous food here is mussels and beer. Just thinking about it makes me want to go again.
For the chill and slow life, we give it 10/10. #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

Brussels-A place focused with art if you spot
Found a series of art murals that brighten up the buildings of belgium which features life and common mode of transport of people there, using tram in the iconic colour of yellow.
Also, other places one should see like tourist attractions, unique buildings are also featured and drawn with strong resemblance on these buildings.
Brussels is a place for chocolates, but has more to offer it seems if we observe.

Atomium, one of the most popular landmarks in Brussels, Belgium. It was created for the 1958 world expo which was held in Brussels.
Walked from Gare du Nord for about 25 minutes to Grand Place and from there we took Metro Line 6 to Heysel/Heizel.
The Atomium is just a few steps away from the Heysel/Heizel station.
The history of Atomium was very interesting. I read it before I visited the place and it was really worth it!

CHOCOLATE lovers should be here in Brussels!
This is Pillows City Hotel located in the heart of Brussels. From train station is about 7 minutes walking distance. and of course you won't miss any single steps cause it is really-really near.
The staff is really helpful. Breakfast spread are variety and you can't miss any of it cause it's really nice.
What me like about this hotel is the location near to everything that me want such as Hard Rock Cafe, Grand Place, Mannekin Pis, Saint Michel Cathedral, Notre-Dame Du Sablon and etc.
Me like the restaurants nearby my hotel named Woodpecker Brussels. Me had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Best breakfast in Brussels me have and never doubt it. 👍 Besides that, me love Laurent Gerbaud chocolate shop. You guys should be here and try the best and fine chocolate in Belgium. Other shop that you should try are Leonidas, Corne Port Royal, Godiva, Bruyerre and etc.
If any one of you would like to go shopping, there is Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert next to Grote Markt. just walking distance from Hard Rock Brussels.
For those who likes the city, me really recomend to stay in Brussels at least 4-5 days. Just relax, enjoy the wine and chocolate to the max! have fun!!

Brussels, Belgium is just a 2 and a half hour ride by bus from Amsterdam. It is faster by train but the bus was cheaper 😁 although train is definitely more comfortable but we wanted to try the bus ride experience to be able to compare it on what to take on our next vacation 😊
One of the reasons why we wanted to go to Brussels was to see the Atomium which is the most popular landmark in the city!
We saw the Atomium at day time but we went there during night and it was more beautiful with all the lights on. The lights gave more life and charms to the object which is the Atomium.
Brussels was a very interesting place. We had an exciting experience that we won‘t forget for the rest of our lives 😅

Fashionable Peeing Boy amongst the waffle shops
Many of us has seen this iconic bronze statue in Brussels, but did you know that his outfit changes frequently? when I visited , he was wearing this sailor outfit!
He is located on a busy street corner which is packed with waffle shops - a must eat while in Brussels ! They are all freshly made and decorated with different sauces and toppings. So delicious 😋 #境外遊 #belgium #cityexplorer #dessert
Chocolate capital of Europe
Though Brussels may not be as pretty as neighbouring Bruges or Antwerp, it certainly makes up for it in cultural heritage.
When you're in downtown Brussels, you can't escape a visit to the unesco world heritage listed Grand Place town square. It is alligned with the most beautiful buildings including the city hall.
Just a stone's throw away from the grand place, you'll find Brussel's most famous resident, 'manneken pis', the statue of the little peeing boy.
Don't forget to walk into a few chocolate shops. You may get to sample some of the world's best chocolates. Other culinary highlights include the many great Belgian beers, the chips with mayo and the incredible waffles.

The Parc du Cinquantenaire
The Parc du Cinquantenaire or Jubelpark is a large public, urban park of 30 ha in the easternmost part of the European Quarter in Brussels, Belgium. Most buildings of the U-shaped complex which dominate the park were commissioned by the Belgian government under the patronage of King Leopold II for the 1880 National Exhibition commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Belgian Revolution. During successive exhibitions in the same area, more structures were added. The centrepiece memorial arch, known as the Cinquantenaire Arch was erected in 1905, replacing a previous temporary version of the arcade by Gédéon Bordiau. The structures were built in iron, glass and stone, symbolising Belgium's economic and industrial performance. The surrounding 30 ha (74 acres) park esplanade was full of picturesque gardens, ponds and waterfalls. It housed several trade fairs, exhibitions and festivals at the beginning of the century. In 1930, the government decided to reserve the Cinquantenaire for use as a leisure park.

In last year June, I have been Brussels , which is the capital of Belgium. I went to there for 3 days with my friends and I really enjoyed staying in there. Watching the sunset , observing the wheel and having a drink are just a dream life for me. Moreover, I have been the city centre to walk around and observed some amazing buildings. One of them is the Brussels town hall, which is fascinating.
I can’t wait to come here again and explore!

Brussels captivated me with its enchanting blend of history and modernity. Wandering through Grand Place, the ornate guildhalls and the opulent Town Hall showcased the city's rich medieval heritage. The Atomium's futuristic allure contrasted this, offering panoramic views. Strolling through charming neighborhoods like Sablon and Marolles revealed delightful cafes and antique shops. Indulging in Belgian chocolates and waffles was a gastronomic delight, while savoring renowned local beers added a touch of authenticity. The surreal Manneken Pis statue brought a whimsical charm to the streets. Brussels' vibrant cultural scene, evident in museums like Magritte and Horta, made this visit an enriching experience. This lovely city seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, leaving an indelible mark on every traveler.
In 2024, I wish to visit Johor.

Brussels is the perfect city for a city break or a long weekend.
The places that we venture while in the city were :
1. Grand Place - known for its Gothic architecture, many historic and elegant buildings.
2. St Michael Cathedral - finest examples of Brabantine Gothic architecture.
3. The View Grande Roue Bruxelles - Ride the ferris wheel and it offers you a breathtaking panoramic view of the capital
4. Pierre Marcolini - Enjoy their ice-cream, macarons and chocolates.
Brussels city centre and surrounding areas, Belgium
Belgium is not well known to us, but it is a country with many places to travel. It is located between Germany and France, and has three national languages: French, Dutch, and German. The regional characteristics are as different as the national languages. Brussels is home to NATO and the EU headquarters, so people from all over Europe gather here, making it even more diverse. Medieval buildings are well preserved, centering around the Grand Place in the city, and you can fully experience the European feel by walking around the city. If you have time, you can also visit Waterloo, which is nearby. After defeating Napelleon, a lion statue was built on a hill, so you can climb up the hill after visiting the museum and enjoy the view.

Enjoy the fall leaves in Brussels Park
If you’re looking for the most beautiful fall foliage in Brussels, you’ll struggle to do better than Parc de Bruxelles. Although most Brussels parks are worth a visit if you’re wondering what to do in Brussels in the fall, there’s something special about Park Royale. It dates back to the 1700s, and you’ll find it between the Belgian Parliament and Royal Palace. It’s popular among runners and dog walkers, but also perfect for a leisurely walk as the green leaves start to change.
Brussels is no stranger to fantastic food festivals that take place throughout the year, but one of the best is reserved for early autumn. EAT! Brussels Restaurant Festival takes place in the first and second week of September in the beautiful Bois de la Cambre Park. A visit here is one of the best ways to sample the best of the city’s famous cuisine. Dozens of restaurants set up stalls and sell some of their most popular dishes, and if you’re a foodie looking for the best activities in Brussels in the fall, you can’t go wrong with this.
Between the 12th and 18th centuries, Coudenberg Palace was home to many of the region’s most powerful leaders. It was a palace that towered above the city until it burnt down in a dramatic fire. The palace disappeared almost overnight, but the ruins and its underground passages have since been opened to the public. It’s a fascinating archeological site popular among children and adults, and particularly good to visit if the fall weather turns slightly cooler. By the end of fall, the weather in Brussels in November is definitely on the chilly side, so this is an unusual thing to do in Brussels that will keep you out of the cold!

The night view is even more beautiful thanks to the colorful lights.
If you walk a little further down the alley, you can also see the MannekenPis Statue🤭

After my business trip in Germany, my friend who followed me went with me to Brussels Belgium for a break.
The City of Brussels is the largest municipality and historical centre of the Brussels-Capital Region, as well as the capital of Belgium. The City of Brussels is also the administrative centre of the European Union, as it hosts a number of principal EU institutions in its European Quarter.
This trip happened during the fall season. Thus, the weather was very cooling in which we enjoyed. We don't have to perspire! The trees around have turned into shades of red and green which were so beautiful.
Belgium out of perspective
I was in Belgium for a couple of days and I hanged out in a non touristy areas and took these photos, Belgium is a nice place and you should definitely visit Brussels.
some beautiful places in Brussels
Brussels is white a small place, you can go to almost every place in one day ( if you are not tired) but for me that was very tired because it was my last destination I could just go to a few places , and almost every tourist attractions, or where I took those pictures is free.
it's good to buy 1 day ticket from the metro for 8 euros, and you can travel the whole day, using the train and bus. but take care, is not for 24h it's only the day#skiadventure #staycation #themepark
Famous for
