2024 Boracay Island Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in November)
Boracay has all the necessary elements of a tropical paradise: soft sandy beaches, sapphire ocean waters and bright sunshine. Boracay is shaped like a meaty bone. The central part has the gentle White Beach while the north and south are covered with lush mountain forests. Stretching out four kilometers from start to finish, White Beach is the highlight of Boracay. It is rather lively here with all kinds of resort villages, restaurants, bars and clubs. Other beaches such as Diniwid Beach, Bulabog Beach and Puka Shell Beach are relatively quiet and tranquil. Sail out on the ocean to catch a view of an unforgettable sunset. You can also climb up on top of Mount Luho for a bird’s-eye view of all of Boracay or experience a vast variety of exciting water sports. This island also has an abundance of nightlife that will not disappoint.

Best Sunset that took my breath away at Boracay Beach!
#bestsunset #100waysoftravel #boracay
I stood on the powdery sands of Boracay, the sun beginning its descent across the horizon. The sky transformed into a breathtaking canvas of vibrant oranges and deep blues, reflecting off the calm sea. In the foreground, a surfing boat gently bobbed on the water, silhouetted against the glowing sky. The scene felt surreal, as if time had paused to let me savor this perfect moment—a stunning reminder of nature's beauty and the tranquility of the island.
The best time to visit Boracay is from late November to early May. During this period, you'll enjoy dry weather, calm seas, and vibrant sunsets. Peak tourist season is from December to April, when the island is livelier, but if you prefer a quieter experience, visiting in late November or early May can be ideal.

Bulabog beach in Boracay is the best spot for introverts!
That was my first time in Boracay and it took me a while to choose a place to stay here. The most popular location is White beach, but it can get a bit noisy over there, so I've chosen to stay at a hotel close to Bulabog beach (it's just 10 min walk from D'mall and White beach, and about 3-5 min by tricycle). This beach is empty during daytime (because most people go to the White beach) and if you are looking for some privacy you can definitely come here. The water was crystal clear and very warm (we traveled in the beginning of October).

Sunsets of Boracay in Philippines are one of the best!
I've heard a lot of sunsets in Boracay. Some people say they are the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Finally we got an opportunity to travel to Boracay and see these amazing sunsets by ourselves and check if it was true or false! The best place to watch sunsets in Boracay is at the White beach. You also can book a sunset cruise right before the sunset (around 1000 PHP/person) and it will take you a bit further in the sea, where you can take stunning pictures! I would definitely recommend to travel to Boracay and see it yourself!

White beach in Boracay is a gem!
How to get: Getting here will be super easy as soon as you get to Boracay island from the airport (Caticlan airport is the closest) - just 15-20 min tricycle ride. During Chinese national holidays in October we wanted to get close to nature, have a peaceful and relaxing time together. Boracay is definitely a place where you can find this! White beach is number one beach in Boracay: crystal clear water, fine white sand, green palm trees.. All these was everything we were looking for! And this is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen indeed. I've heard that October is a rainy season in Boracay, but the weather was super nice: hot and sunny, so don't be afraid to travel here in October. Boracay should be on a bucket list for everyone!

🔝 Best Island to Visit once in a lifetime
#islandtour #trip #100waysoftravel #sea #diving
My island tour in Boracay, Philippines, was an unforgettable experience. The vibrant blue waters and stunning white sand beaches provided the perfect backdrop for a day of adventure.
Diving offered a mesmerizing glimpse into the underwater world, with colorful corals and diverse marine life that left me in awe.
Snorkeling was equally thrilling, allowing me to explore the shallow reefs and spot tropical fish up close. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured our safety while sharing insights about the local ecosystem.
Overall, it was an ultimate way to appreciate Boracay’s natural beauty, blending relaxation with exhilarating activities. I can’t wait to return!

If you want a quiet and clean Boracay!
This was the quietest accommodation during my fourth visit to Boracay!
Staying in a villa-like accommodation, you can be happy just staying inside the resort!
With fewer guests, it's really quiet haha
It feels like they put a lot of effort into the landscaping
Especially, the food is not bad for the Philippines, so we just stayed in the resort to eat, rest, play, and get massages haha
The mojito is especially delicious!
We swam at the private beach and there were so many colorful fish!!🐠🐟 The staff are also friendly
Stunning Boracay even for a weekend trip
Even tho we had just a day and a half to enjoy Boracay, everything was possible! Island is not big so it’s easily accessible, there are no cars but tricycles, which makes the experience even more authentic 🌸
I highly recommend to stay in a boutique hotel (Amigos is a great one) for a low cost trip and try scuba diving (we had it as an offer from the hotel) 🤿 was my first experience but must say our instructor made sure for us to stay safe and feel great 🫶🏻
Nightlife is also very busy for those who like to hang out and enjoy the night atmosphere ✨

Best Beach Sunset Ever!
#myhiddengems
Of course it's Boracay! Located on the main stretch, the famous white powdery sand aka the white beach. You have to come here and soak up the sunsets daily as they are gorgeous. Sip a cocktail, have your dinner, listen to live music or soak in the sea!
The area is very happening in the evenings as well. Would recommend spending a few nights here to try it all out!
I wanna go back to the Island Called "Boracay"
Boracay is a tropical island surrounded by stunning white sand beaches and clear blue waters located about an hour's flight from Cebu or Manila just off the larger Philippines island of Panay.
For beach connoisseurs, Boracay competes with the best beaches in more popular destinations such as the Caribbean and the South Pacific as well as neighboring Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Tourists will appreciate water sports and activities such as sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving and jet skiing. The fun in Boracay doesn't end when the sun sets. The nightlife pulsates with many bars and restaurants serving food, drink and fun until the wee hours of dawn.
Boracay is a small island in the central Philippines. It's known for its resorts and beaches. Along the west coast, White Beach is backed by palm trees, bars and restaurants. On the east coast, strong winds make Bulabog Beach a hub for water sports. Nearby, the observation deck on Mount Luho offers panoramic views over the island. Offshore, coral reefs and shipwrecks are home to diverse marine life. Boracay suffered from overdevelopment and inherited a negative reputation for dodgy nightlife and major environmental concerns. The government closed the island for six months and the island underwent an extensive facelift. Since reopening in October 2018, the island has had tougher rules and regulations and a limit to the number of tourists allowed. Visitors must have a hotel pre-booked before getting on the boat to Boracay. Among the rules are bans on eating or drinking on the beach, smoking, fire dancing and commercial sandcastles. Touts will offer visitors a massage, boat ride, parasailing, kitesurfing, sail boating, hair braiding, island hopping and henna tattoo every 20 steps on the beach's "sidewalk" path.

Visiting Boracay is A MUST. But one thing you need to know about Boracay is we have to do extra work to get to the island.
First thing you will landed at the airport which located outside the island. The airport is small so you no need to worry about it.
Second, you will need to rent a bike or tricycle to go to the pier. Then you will need to pay for entering the island.
You have to register yourself at the counter and fill in your data, then after you have to pay for the boat ticket, environmental fee and terminal feel. The price is shown on the picture attached.
This might take a while for the registration process. Once you have completed all of those things, you ade free to go and board the boat
Enjoy Boracay 🏖️ ⛅️

The Date Voyagerset Set Trips Boracay is still the best! 🤍🇵🇭
It’s my family’s second visit in Boracay Island and boy, it gets better every time.
There are new restaurants and activities to try from paraw sailing, land tour, island hopping, etc.
We ate at trending restaurants like Aria, Spicebird, Ice Flakes, Coco Mama and many more.
For hotel, we stayed at Henann Palm and it is the best hotel for families with children! It is beachfront and near every thing you need! Facilities are so nice too even their food and drinks.
We’ll definitely visit again!
