Here’s how we did it: ✅ Arrival & Luggage Storage We flew from Shanghai with our luggage checked through to our final destination. After clearing immigration at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, we stored our small carry-on suitcase at the luggage storage near departures for just 20 RMB per item. 🚇 Getting to the City We took the metro straight to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, one of Guangzhou’s most famous shopping and food streets. The ride was only 7 RMB and took about 45 minutes—easy and affordable! 🍜 Exploring & Eating Guangzhou’s cost of living is noticeably lower than Shanghai’s! We had two bowls of luosifen + a Coke for just 35 RMB. Before heading back, we also grabbed some Bao Shifu pastries as souvenirs—only 15 RMB per box (cheaper than Shanghai’s 20 RMB!). ✈️ Back to the Airport After a relaxing stroll, we took the metro back to Baiyun Airport.
