We left Johor Bahru, Malaysia, from Stulang Laut Ferry Port at 11:30, and it took about 2 hours to reach Batam, Indonesia, by ferry. After completing the Indonesian immigration procedures, we went directly to Mega Mall Batam Center, which is located right in front of the ferry terminal. We had lunch at a restaurant in the mall called Ayam Goreng Fatmawati. The food was local Indonesian cuisine—nice taste but a little bit spicy. We recommend it! After lunch, we went to the mall’s basement floor to buy some snacks and drinks before heading to the hotel (we were worried there might not be any shops nearby, so we bought them in advance). We took a Grab taxi from Mega Mall to Batam View Beach Resort, and the price was reasonable. When we arrived at the hotel, it was very nice and lively. There was a show and entertainment activities such as a mini concert and a traditional drum lesson. Overall, the hotel’s swimming pool, beach, mini bar, gift shop, and other facilities were very good—we definitely recommend it. (From the hotel’s beach, you can even see Singapore!).Next to the hotel there is a restaurant which is belong to the hotel named Kelong seafood, they sell the seafood and traditional Indonesian food, very nice view, atmosphere ,nice taste and free buggy service back to hotel. The next day, we checked out, took a Grab taxi back to Batam Center, and returned to Malaysia. Very nice trip!!!

There are many menus. The drinks are also delicious. The pudding is very delicious. The atmosphere is also good. The seats inside are bare concrete. The first impression when entering the shop is the fragrant smell of coffee. The restaurant's decor is like a movie set. It's got this relaxing vibe. I think it might have something to do with the fact that they have a nice location right next to park with lots of greeney. The seats are arranged in a chic way. There are many seating areas, both indoor and outdoor.The menu here has a variety of dishes, both savory, sweet, and drinks. We were full, but we couldn't resist the temptation of the cake, so we ordered a piece to try. But in May, the weather is both hot and rainy. The food is delicious, the staff is cheerful, the shop and the outside area are very beautiful, the nature is very healing. A cozy cafe with quiet "remote workers" immersed in their laptops. It's got an interesting ambience, it's quiet and comfortable. Fast Internet, a powerful fan works inside, but creates a comfortable temperature. There is a terrace. Delicious drinks and food at reasonable prices. The owner is incredibly kind, and the dirty coffee is incredibly delicious. He even accommodated my request to omit the milk from my Thai tea (and later even brought me water). The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. I enjoyed breakfast set 1, which came with scrambled eggs and bacon, toast, a salad, and a choice of orange juice, coffee, or tea. The atmosphere was nice with beautiful art, greenery and it was calm by night. There was one man from the staff that was paticularly friendly and hospitable. It is a very beautiful and natural place where you can enjoy not only your food but also the surroundings. The café is nestled among beautiful plants and shaded by large trees. The beverages and food were very tasty, with just the right amount of sweetness. The presentation of the dishes is excellent, perfect for photos. The staff is helpful and friendly. The owners have really tried to create a relaxing, Japanese inspired space where you can socialize, hold meetings, enjoy delicious food, and indulge in the beautiful surroundings. Simple elegant quiet place with koi pond garden atrium. The garden is so peaceful and the drinks are delicious! I had the spicy red curry, hot japanese tea, and a mango/passion smoothie. The service was quick! Can’t wait to return. Tonkasu Kare looks good, pork has crispy texture and sauce is flavorful and balanced. Pork Collar x Gochujang with onsen egg. What you can't miss is the dessert. Everything looks delicious and the taste is excellent. The shop provides very friendly service. Ordered many things, the price is very good. The shop is in a rather small alley. You have to look carefully at the entrance.But there is a lot of parking, convenient, many cars can park. You can park in the lot opposite the shop. There are many bakery menus, freshly made, you can see the bakery zone, which is a glass room. The restaurant itself spans two levels. Nothing extraordinary, but good enough for a pleasant meal in a comfortable setting. The staff were polite and the overall environment was welcoming. The soup was gorgeous alongside the very smoothie I had. If you're looking for a quieter and more relaxed vibe, the upstairs area is cozier and more peaceful, though they do limit dining time to 2 hours. Value wise, it is decent. The food was very delicious and fulfilling. I had the savory crepes with poached eggs that were cooked perfectly. The single origin java coffee was superb as well. The decor and layout is super cute and almost like a large garden shed. Not surprisingly very busy but the staff were good at setting us at a share table then moving us to a smaller table once it was available and before we ordered. Beautifully presented inside, very neat and well trained staff. Generous serves and well cooked and presented. Drinks a tad more expensive but the fact it is air-conditioned and further back from the road is a bonus. People credit it for good breakfasts, and a good range of vegan foods. Flight to Johor take Ferry to Batam

Qbee Nail & Salon at Mega Mall Batam is now officially one of my favourite go-to spots for a pampering session in Batam. It’s located conveniently within the mall, just across from the Batam Center Ferry Terminal — perfect if you’re hopping over from Singapore and looking to relax without spending too much. What I really love about Qbee is how affordable their services are without compromising on quality. I did my nails for just 50,000 IDR and a pedicure for 100,000 IDR — and that price even included a foot soak, scrub, and a short massage. Everything felt so shiok and relaxing! The massage was surprisingly good for such a quick service, and it made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. The staff were super friendly and gentle, always smiling and making me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in. Even though it was quite busy, they still took their time to make sure everything was done neatly and properly. I didn’t feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated. The salon itself is clean and cosy, with a simple but neat layout. Tools looked well-sanitised, and they lined the foot tubs before use, which is a big plus for hygiene. They also have a good selection of colours for both regular and gel nails, and their work is really neat and precise. For the price, convenience, and service, Qbee really delivers beyond expectations. I highly recommend it if you’re in Batam and want to do your nails or just have a quick, relaxing session. This is my first time going to this cafe after it reopened. I use to come here everytime I was on a holiday in batam. But that was before covid. After the reopening, and it certainly offers a different vibe from the other. Great vibes, spacious, beautiful interior design. But most importantly: Remarkable Coffee recipe.
