Bansko City Park is located next to the city center. The park is located over an area of more than 20 decares and is equipped with all modern conveniences. Fully planted with huge trees and asphalt lanes, the park attracts plenty of people, especially during the hot summer days. There is a small lake with an island in the park, and this island can be reached via a wooden bridge. At the beginning of the park, there is a children playground and a café where everyone can take a rest while his/her children freely enjoy. Velyan’s House in Bansko is located near the central square of the town and the Holy Trinity Church. The building is an example of the architectural style – a fortified house of the Bulgarian Revival Period (end of the 18th century – beginning of the 19th century). It was opened to visitors in 1977. Velyan’s House was built in the 18th century and was a modern two-storey building made of stone and wood. The ground level consists of a cellar and two interconnected hiding places. During the Ottoman rule, many Bulgarians built fortified houses with secret rooms where to hide from the raids of the Turks. Tourists have a wide selection of lifts in Bansko: one gondola, two 6-seater and six 4-seater lifts as well as draglifts, including a children’s draglift. Pirin National Park (Bulgarian: Национален парк "Пирин"), originally named Vihren National Park, encompasses the larger part of the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, spanning an area of 403.56 square kilometers (155.82 sq mi). It is one of the three national parks in the country, the others being Rila National Park and Central Balkan National Park. The local restaurants offer a variety of authentic Bulgarian dishes, which were a treat for a foodie like me. 😋 Especially the grilled lamb chops, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a mouthwatering aroma that I still savor. 🌃 At night, I stayed in a cozy guesthouse. Through the window, I could see the outline of the distant snow-capped mountains, which was breathtaking. 🌌 Lying in bed, reflecting on the day's experiences, I felt a sense of contentment and happiness. 🎉 Overall, this Bansko ski trip was amazing! Hey babies~ Today I'm going to take you to explore the wonderland town of Bulgaria - Bansko, and our dream abode is that treasure hidden under the snow-capped mountains✨ Four Points by Sheraton Bansko! 🏔️💖 Once I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt like I had traveled through a classical European painting. The luxurious yet warm atmosphere made me fall in love for a second! 💖 The giant crystal chandelier in the lobby is dazzling, every corner exudes aristocratic atmosphere, photography and photography absolutely dominate the circle of friends! 📸✨ The service was simply a five-star enjoyment! From the enthusiastic greeter at the door to every detail of the room service, you can feel their care and professionalism. 👏🏼 A smile, a greeting, makes people feel like a spring breeze ~🌸 Speaking of food, wow~ it’s simply a feast for the taste buds! The hotel’s restaurant offers both authentic Bulgarian and international cuisine, and each dish is a double feast for the eyes and taste! 🍽️ Especially their signature dish - pan-fried herring, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with special sauce, simply human delicacy! 🤤 The location is great! The hotel is located in the center of Bansco, within walking distance of the cable car station, a paradise for ski enthusiasts! ⛷️ And the surrounding natural scenery is beautiful, push the window is the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains, the early morning sunrise is not to be missed! 🌅 Access is easy, a few hours’ drive from Sofia Airport, and all the way is picturesque and not boring at all! 🛣️ Surrounding attractions? Don’t miss the historical sink of the Bowiana Church and the stony streets of Old Bansko, strolling through it as if traversing back to the Middle Ages. 🏰 In short, this trip to the Four Points by Sheraton Bansco was one of my most memorable experiences in recent times! If you want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the tranquility and luxury, don't miss it! 🏡💕

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 **Bansko** This is one of the most popular ski resorts in Bulgaria. From Sofia you can take a bus which takes about 2 hours. Come here for skiing in the winter and hiking or cycling in the summer. There are many restaurants and bars in the town where you can enjoy local cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere in the evening.

Day 3 of our road trip. We went for a hike in the Pirin Mountain. The trees and grass were green and brown when we started hiking up the steep, stony path. It started snowing heavily, and we had to turn back as the hike became difficult with the slippery snow-covered path. The snow covered the trees, the path, and the grass, turning everything white. We were fortunate to witness this transformation 😎. After the hike, we took a stroll in the old town and tried Bulgarian cuisine at The House. The food was fantastic 👍🏻

Day2 of road trip - Arrived at Sofia airport, collected my car and drove to Vitosha. It was a beautiful road up the mountain with trees in autumn colors. We were halfway up until it become too foggy and rained so we had to abort the drive up due to safety concerns. Went to our accommodation at Bansko it was a nice local style cosy apartment. Walked around the town but all the shops were closed so the next best choice was the supermarket to buy groceries and cook our dinner at the apartment 😄
