Unfortunately Sapa has became a touristy spot so do expect for alot of things to be expensive. The views were phenomenal and still had some existing authenticity to it. We easily clocked 10k steps each day and there were elevated walkways everywhere we went which was a very good workout. Wouldn't really recommend as it has become quite expensive. View at the fansipan peak was good too but we had altitude sickness

A must visit place if you are traveling to Sapa! There are few ways to get into Fansipan and one of them is using cable car which cost about $40 for 2 ways. If you combine with the buffet, it will be about $50. The cable car take about 20mins and the views are nice! We were lucky as the weather is very good when we visited the place at 16th Oct 2023, which is the spring and the temperature is about 14 degree. However, you won’t really feel cold when as the sun light is quite strong. The Fansipan peak is about 600 stairs/ steps from the cable car exit, where you can see the Buddha and Guan Yin statue in close distance if you choose to climb up by stairs. Alternatively, you can also reach to the peak by using monorail which cost about $3 one way. It takes about 6 mins. The whole visit may take you min 5 hours to have a comfortable walks and photo taking as well as taking the buffet. The buffet is from 11am to 3pm. #sapa #fansipan

This was my second visit to this gorgeous location on a sunny and windy day. This incredible sight and the constructions surely drew me in. I would highly recommend a hike up the stone stairs from the cable car station to the summit, where you may explore all of the marvellous corners that I snapped. One of the conquerors of #Fansipan peak, which stands at 3,143 meters above sea level 🏔️, was beyond expectations, even more amazing than the Amazon. 😍 Although I knew it was beautiful, I didn't expect it to be this beautiful. When I was on the cable car, I thought it would only take a few minutes, but it took almost 20 minutes. The view was so stunning during the journey. It's surprising how it was built so high. 💰I prepared 1,500 Baht for the Fansipan trip, which includes going up to 3 stations and coming back down from 2 stations (the descent is about 1 km from the peak with the most beautiful view). There was a steep staircase, and it was a bit scary to climb down slowly while holding onto the handrail. We went there in late May, and the weather was cool in the lower area, but hot during the day. I thought it wouldn't be much colder up there, but my hands were shaking. It was almost windy enough to make me scream. Fortunately, we went there around noon, and there wasn't much fog, which made it less cold and gave us plenty of beautiful views. We attempted to go up this mountain thrice but we're thwarted by the fog,rain and mist. I commend the ticketing staff who told us in clear language what the view was like had we gone up. they could have sold us the tickets on false promises but they didn't. it was up to us to decide. so we wandered around the Goddess of Mercy temple and took of photos of the flowers and the little park.#fansipan

Please ask the travel agency to book round-trip cable car tickets (VND 850,000) + one-way summit funicular (VND 150,000). At the Fansipan cable car station, scan the QR code to enter and board the ultra-long cable car with the greatest elevation difference (1,400 meters). The view outside the window includes terraced fields and layers of mountains. When the sea of clouds appears midway, everyone in the cabin can't stop taking pictures in awe. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Fansipan platform. The summit funicular takes about 5 minutes to reach the peak. There are several stone markers with the 3143 elevation mark around the triangulation point for photo opportunities. The magnificent peaks and rolling sea of clouds are truly stunning! Even though it was very windy and cold (around 4 degrees at the summit), it was hard to leave. The 20-minute return cable car ride offers another chance to enjoy the terraced fields, mountains, and sea of clouds. This trip to Sapa was incredibly satisfying!

#newyearnewtrip Starting 2025 in a high at the top of IndoChina. Landed in Hanoi at 5pm, took a grab to Old Quarter to walk around before taking a sleeper bus at midnight to Sapa. Arrived at 6am, left luggages at the hotel and up to Fansipan. After cable car rides and a funicular, finally at the top! The View is spectacular! Weather was on our side, it was super clear and the Sun was shining thru.

🌄 Sapa: “It’s so cold my face is so oily and my pores are gone like I’ve applied a filter!” The fog is thick and the view is amazing, but it’s so cold that I have to walk fast or else I might freeze to death in the middle of the mountain. My walking steps are like a pro because I’m afraid of the cold! 🏔️ Fansipan: “It’s like going to heaven in a Chinese movie, but I have no energy, only stiff legs and a shaky breath!” The way up is so brutal that I have to bring a lot of courage, but when I reach the top, the view of white clouds and blue skies and cool wind is so awesome, like a scene from a fairy tale that came out of a movie screen. 🏘️ Hanoi: “This city has two things: strong coffee and crossing the street is so exciting!” Walking around is like being lost in an 80s film set. It’s crowded with people, the streets are busy, the coffee is strong, but the pace of life is so slow that time seems to have stopped. 📸 Ho Chi Minh City: “It’s like a photo studio. People bring their own photographers, lightboxes, and reflectors!” Every street corner is a photoshoot. The light is so good that you don’t need to edit the picture. A day adventure at Mt. Fansipan was truly unforgettable! Before heading up, I was quite worried about whether I could make it to the summit, but in the end, I succeeded. If I had to describe the experience in one word, it would be “Amazing.” The views and scenery were absolutely breathtaking!
