Don’t miss the beautiful and colorful Panagbenga festival!
The month-long festival starts on the first day of February with an opening parade. Activities celebrated throughout the month include a landscape competition and cultural shows; street dancing and float parades during the last week of February draw huge crowds. After the parade, Session Road is closed for a week for the Session Road in Bloom activity which hosts a variety of stalls showcasing products locally and from other provinces. The festival concludes in the first weekend in March with a grand fireworks display.

Baguio Cathedral!
#localescapes
The Our Lady of The Atonement Cathedral, commonly known as Baguio Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral located on Session Road in Baguio. Its distinctive exterior twin spires with beautiful rose-colored paint and stained glass windows make it a popular tourist attraction in Baguio. Baguio Cathedral sits on the top of the hill overlooking the city. We visited the place during the week so it wasn't crowded at all. Best time to visit churches.

Igorot Stone Kingdom | บาเกียว ฟิลิปปินส์🇵🇭
#BeautifulPhotoPlace
Another popular place that is a check-in point and Instagrammable is Igorot Stone Kingdom. This place is really popular. Many Filipinos come here.
The entrance fee is 100 pesos per person, which we can buy at the entrance. Inside, there are stones that are modeled as a city, allowing us to take pictures at various angles. There are costumes for rent and small performances to watch. On top, there is a coffee shop where you can see the view of Baguio.
How to get there: You can take a taxi from the center of Baguio. The way to get there is a bit uphill. If you get motion sickness, bring some smelling salts.

ไป กับ ตอง - Go with Tong A good place to stay in Baguio!!
#timetotravel
Baguio Airport Homestay is located in Loakan, Baguio. It is definitely near the airport. It is a huge house that has many rooms. Each room has its own bathroom which I really like. We stayed here since this is the same venue of my friend's wedding. It was worth it. It has billiards, Netflix, kitchen and a place to chill. If you know how to play the piano, you can also play it there by the living area. It costs 600pesos per person/night. I think it's worth more than the price. We had a great stay.

The Summer Palace of the President!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
This is The Mansion located in Baguio City, Philippines. It is the official Summer Residence of the Philippines Residence and that explains why it has become one of the tourist spots that are highly visited in Bagiuo City. Tourists can only see it from afar and no one is allowed to tour inside the palace which is understandable. The architectural design and structure of the palace is somewhat a combination between Spanish and American design. This is just right in front of Wright Park. Enjoy your photo session here.

Heroes Academy in Baguio!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
I was actually glad we didn't skip this one. The Philippine Military Academy is a must place to visit if you want to learn more about our heroes are trained here and also it's just so cool to see many stuff inside. Very educational and informative and I can highly recommend it for families to come, it is great to educate our children about this. They have drills there so we were lucky to see it, it is scheduled at 10 am- 2 pm so if you want to catch that out make sure to go there at those times. Overall, a must visit!
How to get here: From the city center it takes about 20-30 minutes to come here depending on traffic by taxi or jeepneys.
Entrance Fee: When we went there it was free but I heard now that they are collecting minimal fee. Just double Check!

Botanical Garden in Baguio City! 😯
A must-see place if you are already in Baguio for a summer vacation. Our trip to Baguio wouldn't be complete without a visit to Botanical Garden. It's a perfect place for a quiet atmosphere, a good walk, and a serene and laid-back environment. During the time we visited the place, the entrance fee at the botanical park for adults is 10php only. Super cheap! I travelled here with my family twice already and we still love the place. I think it's our go-to place whenever we are in Baguio.

Horse riding in Baguio
Cool climate, wonderful scenery, and horseback riding adventure — these are just some of the reasons why Wright Park has become one of the most visited and well-loved parks in the Philippines’ summer capital, Baguio City.
The park is named after Governor Luke E. Wright who ordered architect Daniel Burnham to develop the place for American soldiers and civilians alike to have an area for recreation and leisure.
The Wright Park Riding Circle holds the main activity that people go to the park for — horseback riding. In fact, Wright Park is often mistakenly called “Ride Park” especially by kids because of the riding activity done here.
Diplomat Hotel
Diplomat Hotel was previously known as the Dominical Hill and Retreat House which was established in 1915, built by Dominican friars in 1913 - 1915. It was later on turned into a school - Colegio Del Santissimo Rosario and retreat house for the friars during the World War II. In 1945, during the Japanese occupation, used by Japanese as their fortress and was bombed by the American soldiers on the same year and as history dictated, Japanese committed suicide after their defeat In the 1970's, the building was reconstructed and turned into Diplomat Hotel. Unfortunately, the building ceased operations and was abandone after the owner has died. The building ruin was later on transferred to Baguio in 2005. Diplomat Hotel has become famous for haunted stories due to its tragic past and history which why it has become a popular destination for tourists. The place itself is open but the building was restricted for tourist. You may still see the place from the outside of its historical old walls. Just be careful in taking photos, you may capture those unseen by the naked eyes. Kidding, though. The place has good vibes ands since tourists flock the place, where the bright sun lightens the whole place, there is no eerie feeling at all. Just pure nostalgic feeling from old movies and history books. #DiplomatHotel #baguio
The Spiritual Legacy of Baguio Cathedral
The Baguio Cathedral, also known as Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the city of Baguio in the Philippines. It is the seat of the Diocese of Baguio and one of the major churches in the area. The present church building was built in the 1950s and is an example of colonial American architecture. The façade features two towers and a central dome above the main entrance, with Spanish colonial-style ornamentation. Inside, the church features stained glass windows, wooden pews, and a marble altar. Masses are held regularly at the church. The Baguio Cathedral is a popular tourist destination and a favorite for pilgrims, as it is believed to be the site of a miraculous healing. #baguiotrip #baguiotour #baguiotouristspot #philipines #churches

📍Amare La Cucina

Chicken, Ribs and Friends ❤️
📍Gringo: Chicken, Ribs, Friends
Address: SM City Baguio, Gringo: Chicken, Ribs, Friends, Baguio, Benguet
Perfect place to dine al fresco at SM City Baguio. You can have an overlooking view of the city while enjoying their famous ribs! Worth visiting! 👍🏻
Lost Kingdom of the Igorots
One of the new tourist spots in Baguio City is the Igorot Stone Kingdom. It is situated in Pinsao proper which is approximately 5kms away from the city center. You can take a cab going here.
The man-made park showcases the creativity, culture and tradition of the natives in the area which are the Igorots. The stone structures resembles a stone palace (kingdom) just right for what it is named for. It showcases a glimpse of the famous rice terraces as well but in the form of stone-structure.
It is overall an amazing destination where you can take a lot of cool photos. Surely a must-see place which you will definitely not regret visiting.
Panagbenga Festival in Baguio
#myperfectstaycation
Baguio City is known as the summer capital of the Philippines. Baguio is the best destination if you want to beat the summer heat and enjoy scenic attractions at the same time. Pine trees abound in Baguio but aside from that, it is also a home to various flowering plants. In fact, Baguio celebrates anually its Flower Festival or what they call as Panagbenga or the season of blooming. Your eyes will surely feast on colorful displays of blooms and appreciate the beauty that it brings to the place.
SEAFOOD ISLAND: THE BOODLE FIGHT RESTO
What about experiencing seafoods in Baguio City? Of course, it must be very expensive since Baguio City is far away from the sea. Nonetheless, I want to try seafood with a group of 10. Finding Seafood Island Restaurant at Ordonio Dr, Camp John Hay, Baguio City, I ordered two sets of Boracay feast and drinks that cost me almost 5,000 php. This includes pork BBQ, chicken inasal skewers, grilled tilapia, grilled squid, grilled eggplant, enseladang mangga, enseladang lato and tropical fruits. But our way of eating ia a modern boodle fight wherein we use spoon and fork and not on our bare hands, and the food not on banana leaves but on personal plates. But still, the community spirit of eating together remains the same. #mytripvlog#foodie#mountainview#tripblazers#tripblazers

Baguio City Museum😎Philippines💙🌼
This museum is located just opposits side of The University of Cordilleras, in Sunshine Park!
I never really had the motivation to go around baguio during my university days except for the days when you can’t say NO!🫣🤪 Making up to the lost years w my daughter, we went to this museum as part of her YES Day, yes she has to earn it 🥹.
It was a memorable day, nonetheless. The building as a stone cold brick in the outside and some part of the pillars but wooden parts everywhere which i love. Not much to see inside but all of what you see are the things we cherish most. Our Identity!

DE VERA HOMES: HOME AWAY FROM HOME
I spent my first week of January, 2023 at Baguio City. Spending with the cold weather of January at the City of Pines makes it cooler and enjoyable. At 14 Justice Village Street, Marcos Highway, De Vera Homes is a perfect place for staycation, with baguio scenic view, spacious and secured gated parking, 5 mins from Burnham Park, fast food outlets 10 mins delivery time, with kitchen, and quiet neighborhood for affordable price. This cool experience gives me a good time to recuperate, reflect and redirect myself as I begin 2023. Awesome experience can mean good beginning.

ATONEMENT: TO START THE YEAR
True enough to start the year 2023 is to spend a day of prayer at Baguio Cathedral under the patronage of the Lady of Atonement located adjacent to the Session Road in Baguio City. With this majestic Roman Catholic Church on top of the hill in the very heart of the city, the neo-romanesque architectural design of the church makes it popular tourist attraction and a landmark in the summer capital. It is also a 100-step stone staircase behind the Baguio Post Office building. As I spent my day of atonement, I start the year with sacrifices and reconciliation. God cleanse my heart and change my heart. This is the spirit of the New Year- change of heart.
