2025 Anze Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

Having just returned from the UK, I've finally had the chance to unwind from my busy work schedule with a short business trip to Anze, a small city in Jiangsu. I stayed at Xin'an Business Hotel, which not only has a prime location with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, but also left a lasting impression on me. 😉 Surprisingly large rooms As soon as I entered my room, I was drawn to the spaciousness. The bed was so comfortable, it felt like I was floating on a cloud. For someone like me who travels frequently for work, this kind of accommodation is a luxury. ☕ Wide variety of breakfast options Every morning, I chose to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The wide variety of snacks and drinks was enough to satisfy any taste. I especially enjoyed the freshly ground coffee, which brought me happiness with every sip. 🚗 Convenient transportation Whether by bus or taxi, getting around was very easy. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and taxis are readily available, which saved me a lot of time getting around. 🌿 Elegant surroundings and convenient living Xin'an Business Hotel is surrounded by comprehensive amenities, including large supermarkets for daily shopping needs and the upscale "Chuanyu Impression" restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine. If you're a barbecue lover, there are also plenty of great places to go. When night falls, it's a unique experience to enjoy delicious food with friends. Speaking of tourist attractions, the Xunzi Cultural Park is a must-see. It's only 1.4 km from the hotel as the crow flies and is within walking distance, making it a great place to learn about the local culture. In addition, the Easy Joy convenience store is not far from the hotel, making it easy to buy snacks or daily necessities. Overall, Xin'an Business Hotel is a great value for money, whether you're traveling for business or leisure, you can find your own comfortable corner here. | Beautiful Scenery. Xi'an Huanghualing is located in the Qinling Mountains. The rolling hills are covered with dense vegetation, and the scenery changes with the seasons. In fall, the mountains are covered with yellow flowers, like a golden carpet, and the colorful fall leaves create a beautiful picture. The winding mountain roads are perfect for road trips, offering stunning views of the mountains. It's a great place to get close to nature and enjoy the scenery. - Travel time: Mid-October to mid-November is the best time to see the fall foliage. If you want to see snow, winter is also a good time to visit, but be sure to dress warmly and drive safely. - Transportation: - Self-driving: From Xi'an, navigate to Zhuque National Forest Park - Guanghuo Street (go up the mountain from the right side, the pass is the Huanghualing Observation Deck) - Yingpan Town, Zhashui County - Yingpan Toll Station (go down the mountain from Huanghualing). Some sections of the road may be under construction, so check the road conditions before you go. - Public transportation + taxi: Take public transportation to a nearby town, then take a taxi to Huanghualing. However, this is not very convenient, and it may be difficult to get a taxi for the return trip. - Travel route: After arriving at Huanghualing, take a walk along the road to enjoy the fall scenery. The colorful leaves are like a beautiful painting. Then you can visit nearby attractions such as Niubeiliang and Zhongnanshan Village. - Food recommendations: There are many local specialties, such as potato cakes, taro fried with bacon, corn cakes, and chestnut chicken. - Notes: - Drivers should have mature driving skills and control their speed when driving in the mountains. - Bring warm clothes, scarves, hats, etc. If you go in winter, you should also bring snow chains. - Protect the environment and do not litter.
