Grew up listening to the song by TLC titled “Don’t go chasing waterfalls” and now I’m doing the exact opposite. I’ve seen more than 10 waterfalls in Guizhou Province. This was Guanling near the beautiful city of Anshun. It’s a bit secluded, far away from the CBD so I’ld recommend you use a car to drive to the location or join a tour group then hire a bus to get there. There is a very beautiful waterfall. Anshun is home to the famous Huangguoshu waterfall and this waterfall is one of the closest ones in terms of proximity to Huangguoshu. Don’t bring white shoes & bring an extra pair of clothes if you plan on getting very close to the waterfall. Bring a hat & some sunscreen because it’s very hot there, scotching hot. This amazingly scenic area is located in Guizhou and is everything right about tourism in the area. they try to keep the place as clean as possible and try to limit the amount of tourists in the area. We were able to hike along side the waterfall and be booking a tour they take your right underneath it. make sure to bring some extra clothes because it is quite a walk! Truly amazing experience. As it is located in the South of China it has a very tropical feel to it and reminds me of painted scenes from Tarzan. I would definitely recommend this trip to a friend before it gets discovered by the masses of tourists. I spent 3 days in Anshun and I have visited Huangguoshu waterfall and Dragon palace cave 🏞. Waterfall is 41km and Cave is 17. 7km away from downtown. The cheapest way to travel is to take shuttle bus from Anshun east coach station 🚌. To waterfall it costs around 22 RMB per person and to cave around 12 RMB. 📍 Entrance fee to waterfall including all other attractions inside and shuttle bus is around 200 RMB. In the Huangguoshu waterfall they have an escalator near to waterfall so no need to climb the hill.which has to pay extra 50 RMB for both ways. A good place if you like to spend more with greenery and nature. 📍 Entrance fee to cave is around 150 RMB including shuttle bus and boat ride. They charge extra 10 RMB 💴 for insurance if you doesn't want you can avoid that. This place I liked the most in Anshun. I loved the boat ride experience through the longest and beautiful cave and also the view of dragon field.
