It was a trip to Tirana, Albania 🇦🇱 We arrived in Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania, excited to explore its mix of history, culture, and unique modern charm 🙌 Our first stop was Skanderbeg Square, the heart of the city. The large open space, surrounded by impressive landmarks like the National History Museum with its striking mosaic and the Et’hem Bey Mosque, offered us the perfect opportunity to capture some iconic shots 📸 The morning light here is absolutely beautiful, with the square bustling with locals going about their day ✨ 📍Skanderbeg Square, Tirana, Albania We then explored Mount Dajti National Park. To reach the summit, we took the Dajti Ekspres Cable Car 🚠 The panoramic views of Tirana from the top were simply breathtaking, especially around midday when the sun ☀️ highlights the surrounding mountains ⛰️ and the sprawling city below. We captured the best photos here, a must-visit for anyone who enjoys stunning nature views paired with urban landscapes. 📍Dajti Ekspres, Rruga e Dajti, Tirana, Albania We also made our way to the colorful Blloku District, an area once restricted to communist officials but now one of the most lively parts of the city. We wandered the trendy streets lined with cafes ☕️ boutiques, and murals. The vibrant colors and artistic vibe made it a perfect spot for photos 📸 especially in the late afternoon when the light casts a warm glow on the buildings. ✨ We even stumbled upon some hidden gems, like small art galleries and quirky cafes☕️ 📍Blloku, Tirana, Albania We also visited the Pyramid of Tirana, an intriguing structure that was originally built as a museum dedicated to Enver Hoxha, Albania’s former communist leader. Though it’s now in a state of decay, the pyramid remains a fascinating subject for photography 📸 especially during the golden hour when the light casts dramatic shadows across its surface. Albania is an incredible country, so easy to travel to many places by bus! I stayed at Bearded Dad Hostel, the best hostel I have ever stayed at and made so many new friends. Many days trips are organized by the hostels, so keep an eye out of that! Seeing of the eyes, I went to Blue Eye at the mountains of Theth in Skoder, that was a beautiful time. Tirna, the capital of Albania, 🇦🇱🇦🇱is a quiet and charming country

The bus from Montenegro to Albania gave me the impression of Chinese architectural style, which is due to the honeymoon period in the sixties and seventies when China supported this country with all its might. Many young kids might not know this, as it's not taught in textbooks. However, after China established relations with the US, Albania broke off its own ties. Now, after many ups and downs, it's eagerly trying to join the European Union. But upon arrival, there was no discomfort at all. The most satisfying thing was finding a hidden gem of a restaurant where 800 Lek could get you a roasted lamb chop that you can't even get for 30€ in Montenegro. The next day, walking around with my backpack, I realized that the architecture in the capital city of Tirana is very artistic, as are the streets. No wonder so many European directors, writers, and artists like to come to Albania. Perhaps it's not only because of the affordable prices but also the government's support.

#beachvacation 🇦🇱Bucketlist Albania: 🏖️ The Albanian Riviera surprised us positively! The colour of the sea was incredible, the price was excellent (we spent very little). The people were very welcoming and friendly (it's heartbreaking to see how humble and nice they are). Everything is very well structured: hotels, beach clubs, restaurants, petrol stations with snack bars and good toilets. 👴🏻 Although the older people didn't speak any other language, all the menus had English options and the waiters could speak it. We had no problem communicating. One funny thing is that on the local radio they seem to speak in Italian and the songs are all Italian, but when you speak Italian to people, nobody understands.🤔😂 💳 The local currency is the "Leek" but we had no problem paying for everything with apple pay or card. They always try to get you to pay in cash first, but once you've told them you have no other option, they take the little machine out of your pocket. So we didn't have to withdraw any money. To get to the region called the Riviera (the beach region, which is in the south of the country) there are two options: Get off at Tirana (the country's capital), hire a car and drive for 3.5 hours or get off at Corfu - in Greece 🇬🇷 - and take a boat (there are boats all day and they take about half an hour). We decided to drive to Tirana. We found the road great, new, well signposted and the scenery beautiful. It was worth the journey. 👧🏻 We also realised that the trip is good for all ages, there are lots of lively beach clubs for young people, plenty of old people on the beach and lots of options for children. The sea is calm and there are lots of toys for hire on the beaches (I found that very different!). As well as lots of pedalos, inflatable slides and toys, we saw lots of families with babies and young children.
