From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty in the most luxurious tent I have ever seen in my life. We enjoyed sipping champagne while looking at the beautiful sunset. It was really romantic and the food was absolutely delicious. We had everything from Moroccan tagine to the most delicious pastries, all served with the warmth and hospitality you’d expect from a high end resort. I would highly recommend this.

Agafay Desert is about an hour and a half drive from Marrakech. We had a stylish glamping experience in the desert. You can enjoy shisha, sunset camel rides, bonfires, and a pool in the middle of the desert. It didn't show up in the photo, but I saw a starry sky and a sunrise that turned pink... It may be a little bit of a tourist trap but a trip to the Agafay Desert may still be worth it. Most trips will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and then take you on a ride over the sandunes in the early evening until you arrive at one of the desert camps. Once there you are often given the choice of a camel ride of quad bike through the desert before sitting down to a traditional evening meal with a Bedouin entertainment show. #voyagevibes

The mountains were not calling, but I went anyway! My parents were visiting the States a second time, and we wanted to take a trip, to a not-so-obvious tourist place. That is how we ended up adding Bryce Canyon National Park to our itinerary. And boy, was that a great decision! It was a family road trip — we rented a car big enough to carry our suitcases, booked a hotel that promised us a cabin experience, and packed food to satisfy our hungry stomachs. Google maps prompted us directions and we navigated our way to Bryce Canyon. We were looking forward to a journey filled with discovery, adventure, and fun!
