The shop opens at 5 pm, but the vibes are great. The owners are siblings who use their house to make it a small cafe with a good atmosphere and good music. It is considered another relaxation spot for the people of Ahmedabad. The atmosphere is very good. Nearby, there is also an evening boat trip. The design was inspired by kites. It was just launched in 2022. It is 300 meters (980 feet) long and 10 meters (33 feet) to 14 meters (46 feet) wide. There are two levels of walkways at each end connecting the upper and lower walkways of the Sabarmati River. If you come at night, they will turn on the lights. Although this place is not as large as other places, in addition, behind it, there is a mosque and a tomb where she is buried. This well is 5 stories deep, made of sandstone, designed in an octagonal shape. Each level has intricately carved pillars and spiral-shaped pillar capitals. The various spaces are full of intricately carved stonework. The inside is very beautiful. We have to applaud the Indians in the past. Even though they were far from water sources, they solved the problem of water shortages in the community by building a well like this stepwell. Visited Ahmedabad Gujarat India for a couple of days for business and flying from their international airport. There is security to check before you can enter their main terminal. All checked bags have to go through screening before you can checked in. At the security screening, you have to removed all portable battery, mobile phones, chargers out as you go through the screening which I believe this is not common in many airports. There are total of just 10 gates. This is a very small airport. With the level of security, make sure you arrive 3hrs ago scheduled flight time.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad Gujarat India for a couple of days for business and had lunch at their eSsence restaurant. it is well decorated and the servicing staffs are all very polite, helpful and attentive. I was having early lunch and basically I have like 7-8 persons attending to my needs, explaining the type of food they offering etc. it is a very good experience and their Indian food selection is awesome. I will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad city centre India for a couple of days for Business. The lobby is pretty grand with spacious area. The staffs at reception are polite and provided good services. There is nice lighting at the main lobby. Just beside main lobby, there is coffee place which is cosy to relax while waiting for friends. Overall this is pretty good hotel to stay for both leisure or business trip.

Visited Gordhan Thal restaurant in Ahmedabad India. The entrance is nicely decorated and also the interior of the restaurant. It serve local Indian vegetarian meals which you pay one price and they keep refilling till you ask them to stop. The roti and cottage cheese curry is very good. In fact all the dishes are pretty good. The servicing staff provided fast service and very attentive too. Highly recommended restaurant to try if you are Ahmedabad.

When you are in Admedabad, one definitely has to visit the Adalaj stepwell. It is one of the most famous step wells in Admedabad, and one that has magnificent architectural designs and one so rich in heritage and history. You must be wondering what is a step well? In the past, Step wells are used to be a collection site for rain water and these places often provided a resting area for traders and pilgrims on their journey, passing these stepwells. Adalaj is a 5 storey high step well and be marveled with its beauty. Believe it or not, the architectural design of Adalaj stepwell is designed in a way where the inner temperature is always cooler than the outside. This makes the place even more amazing. The stepwell was built by Mahmud Begada in 1411, to commemorate Queen Rudabai, wife of Veersinh, the Vaghela chieftain. It served both a utilitarian and spiritual purpose for the people around. A number of people from villages around once filled water from this stepwell. Great place to see heritage of architecture in Gujarat. Detailings are so amazing. Must visit site. Amazing architecture standing tall more since more than 500 years. Beautiful layout and great piece of engineering marvel. Gives glimpse of life style during that period. Mosque is one of oldest in India and stepwell 8s beautiful... They had tried to maintain it but people are not facilitated with equipments. A beautiful step well with carvings, columns and steps going down. At each landing there are very nice carvings. Breakfast in the most important meal of the day. Each time I am overseas, beside the hotel room, the next thing I look forward to is the hotel's breakfast buffet. I was staying at the courtyard by marriott Ahmedabad in India and their buffet breakfast did not disappoint. The breakfast is held at Momo Cafe. There were live food stations and staff were excellently trained as they serve hotel guests well with deliciously cooked food. Being in India, there were lots of Indian breakfast items like paratha and dosa, etc and also international stations like egg omelette stations, juices and bread rolls. And there's a station with a staff brewing for you Chai tea. Love it! Momo cafe is big, spacious and clean, with natural light shinning in, making it a bright and nice place to dine in. #tripblazers
