Forest walk Chelsea Estate Heritage Park

Forest walk Chelsea Estate Heritage Park

Near the famous sugar factory on the North Shore of Auckland, there is a Chelsea Estate Heritage Forest Park. The park is full of ancient trees with wide crowns, and the gravel path is full of fallen leaves. Some big trees are knocked down and lie on the side. Along the trail, there are lakes, hills, various trees and wildflowers, and you can see the distant mountains and the horizon. There is a map at the entrance of the park, indicating the length of each trail and the time required for walking. Special reminder, for safety, no walking after drinking. There is a junction with a fence and shoe cleaning facilities, informing that in order to protect the Kauri tree species (Maori call it Kauri), please clean dirty boots. This kind of Kauri is up to forty or fifty meters high, with a majestic crown, usually there are one or two meters thick fallen leaves under the tree to protect the big tree, which is a unique tree species in the north of New Zealand. We chose a not very long trail, and at the end, we could see the skyscrapers in downtown Auckland.

Fun market place

Tons of wonderful food options, coffee, flower shop and more. Clean and lovely place to wander around! More relaxed than the many restaurants and because of this informality Ponsonby Central is a way more spontaneous fun place to go to. Totally recommended for it's warm welcome and personal service. Come here for some of the best salads in Auckland. Look at the photos! Bring in your Digital needs, Duct Tape is one of the suburbs best businesses. Overall, it think the prices are decent and the place offers you so much. It's a lot more fun and convinient to have it all in one place. #newzealandtrip #markets #goodfood #auckland

Visiting Gu Cheng - The Illusions and Dreams of Waiheke Island, New Zealand

Visiting Gu Cheng - The Illusions and Dreams of Waiheke Island, New Zealand

Anyone from China who has been to New Zealand and has the idea of exploring Waiheke Island, has probably read the poetry of Gu Cheng . In the 1990s, Gu Cheng was employed to teach at the University of Auckland, and thus he and Xie Ye made their home on Waiheke Island. As the largest island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf, the Maori name for Waiheke, 'Waiheka', means 'cascading waters' . It is not only a favorite holiday destination for New Zealanders but has also been repeatedly ranked by 'Lonely Planet' and others as one of the world's most worthy islands to visit . Today, Gu Cheng's former residence is covered with ivy, and a stone statue silently guards outside the house, watching the comings and goings of Chinese tourists. Apart from Gu Cheng's former home, Waiheke Island is famous for its fine wines—it is also known as New Zealand's 'Wine Country'. When you come to Waiheke Island, don't forget to visit a few vineyards, and amidst the farms, forests, and beaches, take a sip of Bordeaux-style wine, savoring the years and dreams washed by the rapids.

New Zealand's Ultimate Nature Outing at Ambury Regional Park

When in Auckland, New Zealand, we tried to blend in with the local families by visiting the regional park, Ambury Regional Park, for a day of fun. The park is vast, and today’s clear skies make it perfect for a picnic! The two kids enjoyed juice and sandwiches under a big tree, so relaxing! Meanwhile, we adults had some wine, roast chicken, and fruit for our picnic. Gazing at the endless green fields, we felt an instant sense of tranquility! After the picnic, we visited the park’s farm, where we could feed the sheep, watch the horses and pigs up close, and even saw a big hen leading her chicks out to forage! Additionally, the park has educational elements, allowing kids to solve riddles on small blackboards, which excited everyone! Sometimes, the park also hosts a milking program, where both adults and kids can try their hand at milking a cow! 🕰️ Operating Hours: 24 hours 🏖️ Environment/Facilities: Incredibly comfortable and refreshing 💰 Average Cost: No entrance fee 🗓️ Suggested Duration: Half a day 📍 Address: Ambury Regional Park

Natural slow-paced New Zealand

Natural slow-paced New Zealand

Although Auckland is the largest and most prosperous city in New Zealand, it still has a slow pace of life, so slow that we also start to lie flat and look at the sky without wanting to shoot videos There are more than 140 statutory holidays a year here, and the normal working hours are 30 hours a week The city is not very modern, the pictures I took are basically representative of fashion, here advocates natural, simple folk customs, it is a good place to have close contact with nature Thank you for another wonderful encounter

Brilliant food

Each and every dish at this place was good. From desserts to brunch options, we were all so chuffed. The prices being reasonable was another plus. Have visited this place thrice in a week and wouldn't mind trying them again. The parking is huge and the service is quick too. The servers are sharp and also ask you about food allergies. It's also got this friendly and laidback vibe which makes it a great hangout spot as well. Overall, with the taste and presentation this is amongst the best eats we had in Auckland. #newzealandtrip #couplestrip

Auckland City Review Auckland, often called the “City of Sails,” is New Zealand’s largest and most cosmopolitan city. It boasts a stunning natural setting, a vibrant multicultural scene, and a mix of urban sophistication and outdoor adventure. 1. Cityscape & Atmosphere Auckland offers a unique blend of modern skyscrapers, waterfront districts, and lush green spaces. The Sky Tower dominates the skyline, while Waitematā Harbour and the Viaduct Basin give the city a relaxed, maritime feel. The city is spread across volcanic hills and two harbors, giving it a diverse and scenic layout.
