Introduction

Bali's volcanic landscape attracts tourists with its magnificent natural scenery and profound cultural heritage. The main volcanoes include Mount Agung, which is Bali's highest peak and active volcano, and together with Besakih Temple, it forms a sacred landscape; Mount Batur, which features its double crater and Lake Batur, an ideal place for hiking and photography; and the Kintamani volcano group, which shows spectacular volcanic landforms and a cool climate. In addition, Bali has other volcanoes and beautiful scenery such as lakes and terraces formed by volcanic activity.

Climb the Volcano for Sunrise: Begin ascending under fading stars along volcanic rock paths. When first sunlight pierces the clouds, the entire volcano transforms into brilliant orange-red, with Mount Agung's majestic silhouette against churning clouds creating an unforgettable memory.

Watch Volcanoes + Chase Dolphins: After witnessing sunrise from the summit, transfer to black sand beaches for oceanic adventures. Just as morning light gilds the waves, dolphin pods emerge, tracing silver arcs against the spectacular backdrop of volcanic coastline.

Volcanoes + Other Attractions Combo: As dawn breaks, stand atop volcanic peaks overlooking rolling sea of clouds, with slumbering giants beneath your feet and golden-drenched oceans in the distance. Bali's volcanoes not only shape the island's backbone but create countless breathtaking moments.

🇮🇩 5 days in Bali, Indonesia

#summerdestinations Travel month: February Weather: Sunny with chances of 🌧 Hotel: Mercure Bali Nusa Dua Transportation: Private car with driver (5 pax for approx. 50-70k IDR a day - Prices may vary) ✨️ Day 1: We were able to take advantage of the daily complimentary scheduled shuttle from the hotel towards the beach, attraction sites, and shopping area nearby. It is definitely worth it! 📍Nusa Dua Beach 📍Garden of Hope, Peninsula Island 📍Water Blow site 📍Bali Collection - lots of restaurants and shops to choose from! ✨️Day 2: We decided to visit some of the popular places using our own itinerary. To make travelling easier, book a private car with a driver online or in the hotel desk at least a day prior. 📍GWK 📍Pura Tanah Lot 📍Atlas Beach club ✨️Day 3: To see the iconic "Gates of Heaven", We left the hotel as early as 5 o'clock as it will take us almost 3 hours to travel by car. We then visit some of the photoworthy locations along the way. 📍Gate of Heaven Lempuyang Temple (Spent half a day in here) 📍Taman Tirta Gangga 📍Bali Swing Ubud ✨️Day 4: We opt in to have some fun and experience some of the memorable activities in Bali. 📍Bali Zoo: Elephant expedition and feeding. 📍 ATV quad bike experience 📍Monkey Forest: Selfie op with a monkey 📍Tegenungan Waterfall - Although the stairs take 168 steps down to the waterfall, it is very challenging to go back up! Also, we were warned not to swim here at all costs. ✨️Day 5: Free day. We decided to go back to Atlas Beach Club and then went shopping for souvenirs. Bali is an ultimate summer destination. As it can get really hot and humid all year round, make sure to bring appropriate and weather permitted clothing. Also, don't forget to wear sunscreen and protective clothing or items. Lastly, enjoy and have fun! 💕 Feel free to comment and let me know what places in Bali we missed so that we can visit next time. Thank you! #localguides #familytrip #historicallandmarks #bali #indonesia #mytravelhacks

Vegetarian/Vegan Options

Even if the restaurant doesn't look as cosy as the surrounding restaurants at first glance, the food is fantastic. We had tofu cashew and tofu basil. The dishes were very tasty. We ordered the Chicken Thai salad & Roll Your Own rice wraps and both dishes were so fresh & bursting with flavour. The food was so good we ate at the restaurant twice in one day. And a couple of times visited them for breakfast as well. We also tried Basil fried Chicken and Satay Chicken, they are also good. Won’t say it’s authentic Thai taste but they are definitely yummy and worth the money. Closing up with Deep fried Ice cream, very interesting texture. Overall, i think it's definitely worthy of a visit when in just Lembongan. #indonesiatrip #deliciousfood

🇮🇩Villa Kongloo for a comfortable stay

#familytrips2024 We were looking for a relaxing space for our family trip to Bali and I was so glad that I found Villa Kongloo in Canggu! It is a relatively new property with little reviews. The location is slightly away from the Canggu centre but a ride of 10-20 minutes could easily bring us to the happening areas of Canggu! We had all the necessities well prepared in the compound - clean towels, toiletries and kitchen equipped with cutleries ! Absolutely enjoyed the aesthetics of the villa that radiate a very relaxing vibes ! My mum loved it too!

unBALIevable time

Travelled across this gem of an island. Absolute paradise for those looking for sun, sand and sea. Had the opportunity to undertake a Balinese cooking class to get a greater tatse of the local cuisine and culture, which I highly recommend. Brilliant to see the local markets in Ubud with all the different ingredients required for a traditional meal! Visiting Gili T was the end of this trip, very easily reached from Bali. Slower pace of life, just to relax before heading back to reality #beach #food #sun

🇮🇩Tukad Cepung for impressive waterfall

#familytrips2024 Tukad Cepung is a beautiful and breathtaking waterfalls. We Need to walk down with steep steps but it was really worth it. There are 204 steps to the bottom and they are very steep, slippery and uneven plus some ankle-deep stream crossings. You'll feel like you're on another planet. The rays of the sun makes it extraordinary. Indulge in the view and be amazed by the power of nature

#travelshopping La Brisa in Bali is a stunning beach club that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and vibrant atmosphere. Nestled along the coast, it boasts breathtaking ocean views and a laid-back vibe. The decor is beautifully bohemian, featuring rustic wood, colorful textiles, and plenty of lush greenery. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, sipping on refreshing cocktails while soaking up the sun. The menu was filled with delicious dishes, from fresh seafood to tropical salads, all beautifully presented. As the sun began to set, the ambiance transformed, creating a magical backdrop for dinner. The combination of great food, live music, and the sound of the waves made for an unforgettable experience. To Bali, with love.

As someone new to Bali, 5 days is the right amount of duration to spend on this lovely yet cultural intriguing island. Here’s the rundown of the 5 days escapade. Day 1: Took Malindo (Penang-Kuala Lumpur-Bali) and arrived in Bali around 9pm. Rough start but it’s worth the journey. It’s advisable to book taxi beforehand (via Klook) or hail cab using Grab/Bluebird. Took Bluebird (Denpasar Airport - Canggu) and it took about an hour. Stayed at a lovely villa with 3 individual rooms in Canggu with friends that provide the ultimate privacy. Day 2: Had a day tour (booked via Klook) at Uluwatu area (beach + coffee plantation + Uluwatu temple + Kecak dance performance). Heavy rain throughout the day but stopped just in time for the performance during sunset. The dance is pretty unique and interesting as well. Visited Motel Mexicola & Red Ruby clubs at night, best night in town! Day 3: Another day tour (booked via Klook as well) at Ubud (Monkey Forest + Tibumana Waterfall + Local souvenir shop + Pura Tirta Empul + Tegallalang Ricefield). Friends experienced purification ritual at Pura Tirta Empul claimed it was therapeutic and soul cleansing. Day 4: Spend the whole day at Finns VIP Beach Club to celebrate friends’ birthday. Nuff said. Day 5: Departed at 4:50pm (Bali - Kuala Lumpur - Penang) and landed at 10pm. The whole trip was indeed packed with activities and exhausting at one point, but the experience was priceless and worthy. #awesomepic
