Boracay is a famous tourist destination in the Philippines. Most of the time, the northeast wind blows, which is very suitable for surfing. With beautiful beaches and rich water activities, Boracay always gathers surfing enthusiasts from all over the world. Generally speaking, White Beach and Bulabog Beach are recommended, and Bulabog Beach is a little quieter than White Beach. Boracay, Philippines

Boracay is a small island in the central Philippines. It's known for its resorts and beaches. Along the west coast, White Beach is backed by palm trees, bars and restaurants. On the east coast, strong winds make Bulabog Beach a hub for water sports. Apart from its white sand beaches, Boracay is also famous for being one of the world's top destinations for relaxation. Boracay has three stations. Stations 1 and 2 are quite popular so they're crowded. A lot of shops and restaurants around. Station 3 is the most green and laid back part. It's also quite convenient. There are shops and restaurants too. I personally recommend staying at Station 3. From Manila you can choose to travel to Boracay via either Kalibo Airport or Caticlan which is otherwise known as Boracay Airport. Caticlan is 30 minutes from Boracay. Flights to Kalibo are usually a bit cheaper, but from Kalibo it takes about 2 hours to reach Boracay. So if you prefer convenience, go with Caticlan. When you’re traveling to Boracay via a long international flight I definitely recommend you choose Caticlan Airport. #tripinspired #tripmoments #tripcom #philippines #boracayisland #sunsetview #beaches #philippinebeach

Boracay Island

1. Accommodations Hotels now need to comply with much stricter rules if they want to stay open. Do not forget to check the list of hotels accredited by the Department of Tourism posted on their website. 2. Reservation Slips You need to present the accredited-hotel reservation slips to local officials before you enter the island. Do not forget to print them out! You’ll find designated booths in Kalibo and Caticlan airports. For those coming from Iloilo and Aklan, you’ll also find booths in the Caticlan Jetty Port. 3. Entry Form When you are at the booths, you also need to fill out a Department of Tourism Tourist Arrival Form. You can download the form on their website and accomplish it beforehand to save time. 4. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Points and Schedule To maintain the island’s 19,000 daily carrying capacity, docking time of boats to and from Caticlan island (the jump-off point to Boracay Island) is limited to 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM only. You can then take a boat from the Caticlan Jetty Port to the Cagban or the Tambisaan Port (two ports on Boracay island). Take note of this when booking your flights. Late arrivals and departures are allowed, but you’ll need the approval of the Philippine Coast Guard and the administration of the Caticlan Jetty Port. #maydaytrip #urbanexplorer

Diniwid Beach Boracay 🏖️🌴

#boracaytrip Diniwid Beach in Boracay is a hidden treasure that offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. As I descended the stairs that lead to this serene cove, I was immediately captivated by its unspoiled charm and the pristine sands that stretched before me. The beach's intimate setting and lush greenery create a sense of seclusion that sets it apart from the more crowded spots on the island. It's a place where you can relax in peace, soak up the sun, or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. What truly sets Diniwid Beach apart is its unpretentious ambiance. The handful of beachfront bars and restaurants provide a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, where you can savor delicious meals and cocktails while enjoying the ocean view. Diniwid Beach is a must-visit for those seeking a quiet and idyllic escape in Boracay. It's a place that leaves you with a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the Philippines and a sense of serenity that lingers long after you've left. #philippines #boracay #malay

Value For Money Hotel in Boracay 🇵🇭🏖

#timetotravel The hotel is beachfront so if you want to wake up in the morning and just roll out of bed to the ocean then Residencia Boracay hotel is a great option for you. It is good for families and couples who want to have a comfortable and spacious hotel room. Our experience in this hotel was excellent. The front desk and the dining staff are so accommodating and friendly. We always had friendly small chats with them during breakfast. We also appreciate how understanding the management. We moved our arrival days after our supposedly stay with them due to the typhoon but they were kind enough to hold the room for us. Address: Station 1, Pinaungon, Boracay Enjoy! #hotelstay #hotel #boracay #philippines

Tilapia and more!

The moniker Tilapia 'N Chips says it all: it's a Filipino take on the British institution of fish and chips. Because of its pleasant and mild taste, low price, and ease of growing, tilapia has become one of the most widely consumed fish in the world, and it offers a great alternative to more conventional cod and haddock. #summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Lunch by the pool | Boracay 🇵🇭

This was during my stay at Hotel Soffia Boracay. A Mediterranean-style accommodation overlooking the ocean, Hotel Soffia Boracay lets you indulge in the best of the island. Set on a hilltop in Sitio Hagdan, it’s a tranquil place to enjoy Boracay’s spectacular sunsets and scenery. I had bistek(beefsteak), and my friend had squid. I nearly dozed off at my desk after lunch, so I had to go for a swim 😅 You will surely love and enjoy their food 😋 #timetotravel #boracay #travel #tripblazers #summervacation #lunch
