The hotel lobby gives a warm and light luxury feeling, the front desk staff warmly received us and specially gave us free breakfast vouchers, so thoughtful! 🍽 We booked two adjacent rooms to take care of each other, the rooms are spacious and clean, with windows to look out, but the soundproofing is excellent, you can hardly hear the noise outside! The room facilities are complete, the bedding is super comfortable, and I had a good rest for the night. 💤 🥢 Yangzhou cuisine, absolutely not to be missed! The breakfast is rich in variety, especially recommended Yangzhou's special Yangchun noodles, San Ding buns and Yangzhou fried rice! Having visited Yangzhou many times, I discovered on this occasion that Geyuan Garden possesses its own unique charm. Within this garden, dense bamboo groves are interspersed with winding paths leading to secluded spots, while the Four Seasons rockeries, representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter, embellish the garden of less than fifty acres with a view at every step. Its ingenious design is a rare example in Chinese gardens. At this moment, the lotus flowers are in full bloom, and many beautiful ladies in ancient costumes are taking photos together in the garden. In the afternoon, a sudden downpour occurred. Although there are many buildings to take shelter in, listening to the rain in the bamboo forest evokes a surge of emotions from the depths of the human heart. Although Geyuan Garden requires careful appreciation, I prefer to visit it at night. With the solitary moon overhead, various colored lights reflect between the bamboo sea and upon the old walls and artificial rocks, creating an even more wondrous feeling when immersed in it. Interestingly, the ladies in Geyuan Garden are indeed quite beautiful, with an exceptionally attractive staff member working in a cultural and creative shop in the south courtyard. During the night visit, there are many performances, and in the south courtyard, there is a lady in a deep blue cheongsam with an excellent temperament. Her new lyrics and tunes make the courtyard fall silent, all listening to her melodious voice. Perhaps such a temperament is precisely the essence of Geyuan Garden's historical heritage.
