🇳🇱Amsterdam’s Iconic Architecture🇳🇱

#magicalxmastrip Amsterdam's iconic architecture is a captivating blend of history and innovation, reflecting the city’s rich cultural heritage. The narrow, gabled houses that line the canals are perhaps the most recognizable feature, showcasing a unique style that dates back to the 17th century. These charming buildings, with their distinctive facades and large windows, were originally designed to maximize space and light in the bustling urban environment. The canals themselves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, add to the city’s allure, with elegant bridges connecting the picturesque neighborhoods. Notable structures like the Royal Palace and the Westerkerk stand as testaments to Amsterdam's architectural diversity, combining Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque influences. Modern architecture also thrives in the city, with innovative designs like the Eye Filmmuseum and the A'DAM Tower, which contrast beautifully with the historical surroundings. This harmonious blend of old and new creates a vibrant urban landscape that continues to inspire and attract visitors from around the world. A must visit indeed! #xmastrip #xmas2024 #myhiddengems #summervacation #freehotelstay #familytrip #localguides #europe #historicallandmarks #mytravelhacks #passionpassport #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #amsterdam #foodie #asiatrip #mustdo #food #trip

NH Hotel: Ideal Accommodation in Amsterdam City Center

NH Hotel: Ideal Accommodation in Amsterdam City Center

On my recent business trip to Amsterdam, I chose the NH Hotel in the city center. The hotel is located at Spuistraat 288-292, and the location is really great! It's just a 2-minute walk to Amsterdam's main shopping area, which is super convenient! 😄 The hotel is located between the Nine Streets and Dam Square, and the location is really great! There are many restaurants, bars, shops, and a main canal nearby, with great views. The hotel is decorated in a modern minimalist style, and the rooms and public areas are kept very clean and tidy. From the quick check-in to the breakfast recommendations, all the staff were professional and enthusiastic. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, they quickly helped us with the check-in and also provided luggage storage, which was very thoughtful. As for the room, I booked a double room, and although the room is not large, about 17.5 square meters, it is well-equipped and modern in design. The bed is very comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The room is very private, and you can't see inside from the outside, which makes you feel very safe. The bathroom is small, but it is well-equipped, very clean, and very convenient to use. The only downside is that if the room is on a lower floor, there may be some street noise, but this is also due to the central location. There are many places to visit nearby, including the famous shopping district, the canal district, and some popular restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance. For example, De Silveren Spiegel and Restaurant Mont Blanc are good choices. But I would recommend EatWith: Martine of Amsterdam, which is a must-visit for foodies! As for the downsides, besides the street noise mentioned earlier, the room is indeed a bit small. If you are staying for a long time or with a family, you may find it not spacious enough. But overall, the location, cleanliness, and service of the hotel are excellent, and these small shortcomings can be completely ignored. Overall, if you are looking for a hotel with a great location and good value for money, NH Hotel is definitely a great choice! I look forward to coming back to Amsterdam and staying at this hotel again! 😍

🏨✨ W Amsterdam 📍 Spuistraat 175, Amsterdam 🔹W Amsterdam is located in the city center, with a great location and convenient transportation. W Lounge, Beer Temple, and the Royal Palace of Amsterdam are all within walking distance, and are must-visit spots for those who love to explore. The hotel is also close to the central train station, which is within walking distance, making it very convenient to get around.🏙️🚉 🌟The hotel gives a modern and unique first impression, with very sophisticated decor. Although there is no reception on the first floor, the front desk on the sixth floor is uniquely designed, and the restaurant, bar, and swimming pool are also located on the sixth floor, giving you a sense of entering a different world. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you will be offered champagne upon check-in, which makes you feel very welcome.🍾👋 🏠The stay was very pleasant, with spacious and bright rooms and modern design. One of the features is the sink next to the bed, which is unique but not for everyone. The room is well-equipped with plenty of outlets, so you can easily solve any electronic device problems. The bathroom and shower are separate, with 24-hour hot water to relieve the fatigue of your trip. The daily cleaning service is very good, and the room is always clean and tidy.😁🛁 🌍The hotel is in a great location, with many restaurants and attractions worth visiting nearby. Recommended restaurants include Bridges' salt-baked sea bass, Spectrum's grilled ribs, and Vinkeles' pickled herring, which are sure to satisfy your taste buds. In addition, you can relax at the spa, which is open all day, with a hot tub, steam bath, and hot and cold baths for a perfect relaxing time.🍽️🛁 If you stay at this hotel, you can try some authentic food at nearby restaurants such as Roux, De Silveren Spiegel, and Sherpa Restaurant. Walking around the quaint alleys and beautiful sights of Amsterdam, such as the central train station, is also an experience not to be missed.🚶‍♀️🍴 Overall, staying at W Amsterdam not only allows you to enjoy a comfortable and stylish stay, but also to experience the unique charm of the city. If you are planning to visit Amsterdam, this is definitely a great choice!👑🎉

Magical Amsterdam🇳🇱

Amsterdam here we go! This summer had been great to spend my long leave in Netherland alone. I've decide in less than 3 months to spend my summer holiday strolling around the city and canals. With 72hrs city cards, I manage to enjoy my leisure time until the Zandvoort beach. 👍 the beach was wonderful and breezy. Beside that, I did enjoy my time at Vondelpark and heading towards the famous The Seafood Bar restaurant. Amsterdam was a beautiful and lively city and you should be here to experience the food, the dutch pancakes, the fries, the coffee, the canals and see for yourself the ancient building with your own eye. oh! before I forget, i'm staying at Hotel Fine Harmony. The room is big and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to many interesting places. I wish I could go back again soon and spend my day rilex and enjoy my coffee with a friend. Amsterdam totally awesome! #mytripvlog #tripblazers #spooktaculartrip #deliciousfood #foodie #summer

Famous Shopping Street In Amsterdam 🛍

Whenever I m overseas, there is something on my itinerary that I will never miss out and that is shopping! Without saying When I am in Amsterdam, of course I had to do some shopping too. I hit their famous shopping street called Kalverstratt. Kalverstratt shopping street is not one filled with shopping malls, instead you see big brands and many famous shops and eateries in traditional Dutch shop houses. These traditional Dutch shop houses have beautiful architectural designs. Some shops that you need to visit would be their famous fries store called Vleminckx, as well as the famous stroopwafels shop called Van Wonderen Stroopwafels. After all the shopping and eating, walk down the shopping stretch and you will be able to admire some of amsterdam's famous water canals. There's so much to see and do in Amsterdam. #wecreate

Bake Shop @ Amsterdam

#newyearadventure We are walking at the street along Amsterdam Central Station and we saw this Bake Shop. The shop is managed by the owner which is also the baker himself. After talking to him, he told us all the pastry from macarons to croffle is made by him. We bought 2 croffles, one with dark chocolate sauce and one with white chocolate sauce. The taste is suitable for those are sweet tooth.

Amsterdam’s Famous Red Light District

This is the famous red light district in Amsterdam! definitely a very interesting experience, and it’s lived up to its name. this place is quite central, just about 1 stop or a 15 minutes walk away from Amsterdam central. Have to cross the canal to get to it. Once you are in, you will start seeing a lot of shops and different sights. it’s usually more happening at night than in the day. This place is legal and with lots of rich history behind it. You can Google for its history and find out more! it’s not a very dangerous place, but be wary of pickpockets. remember not to take any photos of the girls as it is illegal! #amsterdam #redlightdistrict
