Onion? Onion

Went to the highly raved onion cafe in seoul. It took us 15-30 mins plus to get in and the staff were really nice. Food was amazing??!! The coffee is *chef kiss*, honestly so much better than sbux. They had a really nice range of interesting and creative pastries to try. Price wise; it isnt very expensive, comparable to usual cafe prices. To take note its really crowded as the anguk outlet is in the city and near major tourist attractions. The other is in a suburb (so its quieter). Recommend: If you enjoy cafe vibe, a foodie or just a curious cat. Do check them out. Cost: $$

Annyeonghaseyo (Hello) Seoul, Korea!

✈️From Kuala Lumpur to Seoul will took about 6hrs. Highlight of the trip: ❤️Nami Island: Absolutely beautiful no matter what time of the year you visit! You first need to purchase a ticket to to ride the ferry. The ferry is smooth with beautiful scenery. Once you arrive, you are free to explore. There is a really cool history about the island. Winter Sonata, a very famous K-drama was filmed there and they even have a statue for a photo opportunity. 🦀 King Crab: This is my first time eating such a big crab! I went to Noryangjin Fish Market through subway. Vendors offered with 60,000 to 35,000 won per kilo (2.2 lbs) for king crab. Price wise is quite expensive however the experience is even pricer! #solotravel

Cafe Onion Anguk 🇰🇷

Cafe Onion is one of the most well-known cafes in Korea. This is the Cafe Onion Anguk. Cafe Onion Anguk has a traditional architecture with a mix of modern elements. Known as the mix of past and present. We ordered their iconic signature, pandoro. I didn't find anything special in it tho lol We also had dark chocolate & maldon salt, salty caramel cake, and Olive Bacon. The pizza is good, try it. Their coffee is regular, we had cafe latte and cappucino. Overall experience, 6/10. Getting there: The nearest subway station is Anguk Station on Line 3. It’s a short walk from Exit 2/3. #seoultrip

Address: 21 Myeongdong 7-gil, Seoul, South Korea Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 11.30am to 10pm, Saturday & Sunday 12pm to 9pm A popular barbeque place inside Myeongdong and you might miss it if you are first timer here. It is located in the basement so you have to take the stairs down. You can locate Metro Hotel and then find Heuk Dong Ga from Jeju easily, it is a Jeju barbeque style restaurant and you will grill your own meat here. As always, a 2 persons order is minimum order and you can have free flow side dishes. Artistic pastries: Nudake by Gentle Monster @ Seongsu Seoul 🇰🇷

#koreatrip My visit to Nudake Seongsu in Seoul was a delightful experience. This trendy cafe, known for its unique and artistic desserts, lived up to the hype. The collaboration with the popular K-pop group NewJeans added a fun twist, with bunny-shaped cakes that were a hit among visitors. Although the special bunny cake had sold out, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and innovative treats on display. The interior, designed by Gentle Monster, was visually striking, making it a perfect spot for photos. Overall, Nudake Seongsu offers a fantastic blend of creativity and flavor, making it a must-visit in Seoul. My rating: 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5!

Myeongdong Stanford Hotel: The Top Luxury Accommodation Choice in the City Center, with an Excellent Location!

For my first night in Seoul, I stayed in a luxury double room at the Myeongdong Stanford Hotel, which provided me with a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation experience. As soon as I stepped into the room, I was immediately attracted by its spacious and bright atmosphere. The room was delicately decorated with soft colors, creating a warm ambiance, and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the ample space allowed me to get a good night's rest, feeling energized every morning. The room was equipped with various modern amenities, including a mini-fridge, an LCD TV, and high-speed wireless internet, making it convenient for me to work and entertain in the room. The bathroom facilities were also excellent, with a spacious and clean shower area, providing a pleasant bathing experience. Moreover, the hotel is ideally located in the heart of Myeongdong, close to subway stations and various shops and restaurants, making transportation very convenient. I could easily reach all the city's attractions. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience staying in the luxury double room at the Myeongdong Stanford Hotel. The comfortable accommodation, modern facilities, and convenient location made my trip more enjoyable and relaxed. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to other travelers!

#seoul Cheongsudang Cafe is a charming Hanok-style cafe located in Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, just a short walk from Jongno 3-ga station. One of its distinctive features is the bamboo forest at the entrance, which creates a tranquil atmosphere and leads visitors through a path of stepping stones and lanterns to the main area of the cafe. Inside, customers can choose between several seating options, such as tatami mats or a main table adorned with plants as a centerpiece. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with wooden beams, traditional decorations, and soft lighting. However, it's worth noting that the cafe has a policy of requiring customers to order one drink and cake per person in order to dine there when I was there in October 2022.

Address: 22 Myeongdong 2-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea Opening hours: 10am to 10.30pm everyday Awesome cafe in Myeongdong area, located directly opposite Lotte Young Plaza and along the street famous for money exchangers. It occupies 2 floors in this old building, and you will have to place order at the ground floor before going up to upstairs to get a table. You will collect your order upstairs so there is no need to navigate the stairs again. This cafe has awesome pasties and there is no minimum order.
