Location: Gary's Irish Bar - The Rising Sun Atmosphere: This bar is an excellent spot for relaxation with a great ambiance. It is frequented by foreigners who enjoy drinks and meals. Gary, the owner, is very friendly, as are his staff. The menu is simple but offers a wide variety of choices for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the burgers and fish and chips. Tham Sang in Vangvieng

#passionpassport Tham Sang( Elephant cave ) is driving 35 to 40 minutes out from Vang Vieng city centre. This cave is one of the smaller caves in Vang Vieng which is noteworthy as it is the home of several images of the Buddha. There is also a spot known as the Footprint of the Buddha which is said to be a sacred place in the cave and the inside of the chamber is covered in stalactites. Address - Phone Ngeun, Laos (Vang Vieng) Highlights - Hiking, High view point, Need physical strength! Rating - 4/5 One of the activities to do in Vang Vieng is going hiking. There are many hiking places around Vang Vieng. One of these is the Pha Ngern View Point Top. I would say the hiking will take around 2-2.5 hours. The start of the journey is fine, if you walk fast, you can be able to reach the mid point where there are stones you can sit in 30-40 minutes. After that the hiking became tougher such as you need to climb up using the rope and walking on stone. But when you reach the view point, it will be the sweet point, there are people at the view point that is selling snacks and drinks. Also, there is a place where you can take a sit (from my first image). The tough part is not really taking pictures, as there are net below to protect you. But it is going down the mountain, it was so slippery. Although it wasn’t raining but it makes everything feel so scary. Great stay for a bargain price

This is where I stayed on my most recent trip to Vang Vieng, and it was a fantastic decision. Because this is a relatively new addition to the town, the rooms are exceptionally clean and nearly brand new. I believe the price is reasonable for a hotel-style accommodation, and it is also conveniently located near the main area. The staff was quite friendly and helpful in providing information about the area. You are even permitted to use the pool at a nearby property, which provides the ideal opportunity to cool off. Pancakes, eggs, or an Asian-style soup are just a few of the morning options available. Hiking Vang Vang Mountain (Lao)

In order to go to the beautiful mountain we have to spend 2-hour clumbing. when we reach the top we met Laos man he is the one that selling a product on the top so if you need water you can buy from him. it is really fresh experience for us as a woman group to go to the top of the mountain. The view would never upset you. Recommend you to go to Vang Vang and never miss the chance to go to the top of the mountain.

The door is open, free to visit, and I am the only tourist in the temple, and the monks are very leisurely. The area of Wat Temple is not large, but several halls and Buddha statues are very gorgeous. There are several reclining Buddhas in the yard, in a very relaxed state, giving people a sense of tranquility and peace. It is said that in addition to being a temple, it also serves as a school.
