Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Singapore, this vibrant garden city, invites you to step into a unique pottery class, where you can start a creative adventure at your fingertips in the collision of urban prosperity and multiculturalism.

Rich course content: Courses usually start at 2 hours and combine Asian and Western pottery features. Local clay is combined with international popular glazes, and students learn to knead and throw pottery wheels to create works that are both ethnic and modern. Students will personally create multiple Singaporean-style pottery works in one class, and take away their works after graduation to continue their artistic passion.

Sophisticated class size and strong faculty: The class size is moderate, which is not only conducive to communication, but also allows students to share their experiences in Singapore, while teachers provide guidance, creating an active atmosphere and giving rise to creative inspiration. The ceramic artists who teach the course are experienced and may have different cultural backgrounds. They not only have superb skills, but also have a deep understanding of the aesthetics of ceramics. Their teaching methods are flexible and diverse, combining practical and theoretical methods to help students master core skills in a short period of time.

Facilities and Equipment: Flexible course times to suit all types of itineraries. The venues are usually spacious and modern, allowing you to experience the charm of the Lion City and add color to pottery. Pottery tools are available from basic pottery wheels, molds to advanced carving tools, etc., and there are various electric turntables. Multiple intelligent electric kilns, precise temperature control, efficient firing, and the rhythm of creation are met.

Singapore's ceramics are deeply influenced by diverse cultures, integrating traditional Asian and modern art styles. Students will experience the fun of clay modeling in the course, while gaining a deeper understanding of the city's unique ceramic history and cultural charm, leaving behind exclusive memories of the Lion City and opening up new artistic horizons.

Great Classy Short Retreat at Oakwood!

Great Classy Short Retreat at Oakwood!

This Oakwood has been on my radar since my staycay binge started, then a recent Trip.com promo triggered that impulse and my booking was done fast & furious for yet another weekday stay. Check In – Arriving to an empty Oakwood bell desk on a weekday late morning, I took the lift to level 7 where the lobby is located. The space was completely empty when I arrived and was attended to by Nicole who was all smiley efficiency. S Room – My Studio King (28-32 SqM), Room 3110, was really quite nice! The split function layout made the space feel bigger than it is. You’ll see a kitchenette which contains your mini bar, nespresso coffee and tea bags, as well as a fully equipped stock of glassware and cutleries etc, then your bedroom which contains a huge hollywood king (2 super single beds pushed together) which was just the right amount of softness for me, alongside 2 bedside tables and lights control. Opposite the bed is a chilling daybed and coffee table, a WFH set up of bench table + chair, as well as a non-smart TV. The bathroom is a tight space – fully adequate for a short stay though. A single sink with limited countertop space adjacent to the toilet, and then your shower stall on the other end. Toiletries are Comfort Zone’s Mediterranean series which was not too bad. Breakfast – My stay straddled the return of Phase 2 Heightened Alert and my breakfast the next morning was impacted unfortunately. Due to the no dine- in rule, in-house guests with breakfast included in their package are invited to order and collect their breakfast at their restaurant, Se7enth , located at level 7 from 6:30am – 10:00am. The items to be packed into your boxes are on display presuming so you can see or pick & choose if you like. Facilities – Both the Fitness Centre and the Pool are located on level 7 and you meander your way through a short walkway to them. This space is also where the Executive Lounge is which would have been quite nice on normal days. Great Stay! #hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Get Your Pasar Malam Fix @ Pasar Malam Corner

#meetsingapore Pasar Malam Corner Bukit Batok West Ave 5 Singapore 43571 Opposite Bukit Gombak MRT Station West siders, if you love Pasar Malam’s food, you are in a treat! There is a physical shop opposite Bukit Gombak MRT station that serves Pasar Malam’s favourite such as Burger Ramly (Chicken & Beef), Takoyaki (Squid, Prawn & Chicken), Prawn Vadai, Roti John and Apam Balik. I tried their Burger Ramly and Squid Takoyaki. Thankfully, the Beef Burger Ramly is filled with generous amount of sauces because I hate mine to be dry! Unfortunately, the Takoyaki is a let down. I wanted to get the Vadai but it was priced at $1 each, hence, I decided to skip it! West siders, if you are craving for Ramly Burger, now you know where to get your fix! #ramlyburger #burger

28 Hongkong Street

#sgfoodies 28 Hong Kong Street is an exceptional bespoke cocktail bar nestled in the heart of Singapore, and it's no surprise that it has consistently earned its place among the World's 50 Top Best Bars. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. The cocktails at 28 Hong Kong Street are nothing short of exquisite. I indulged in a Negroni and a perfectly crafted Whiskey on the Rocks, and both were an absolute delight. The intensity of flavors in these cocktails was a true testament to the skill of the mixologists. Each sip was a journey through a symphony of taste, leaving me craving for more. But what truly sets 28 Hong Kong Street apart is the exceptional service. The bartenders here go above and beyond to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. To my surprise, they generously treated everyone to free shots, adding an unexpected layer of warmth and hospitality to the experience. In conclusion, 28 Hong Kong Street is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary cocktail experience in Singapore. The delicious drinks, the expertly crafted cocktails, and the unparalleled service make it stand out as one of the city's finest establishments. This is more than just a bar; it's an unforgettable journey for your taste buds and your spirits.

The world’s tallest indoor waterfall

Address - HSBC Rain Vortex, Jewel Changi Airport, 78 Airport Boulevard, Singapore 819666 Situated at the heart of Jewel Changi Airport shopping mall is this immense and awe-inspiring waterfall rain vortex attraction that is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world! It cascades down from the dome-shaped bowl above and falls a staggering 40 metres to the ground below. My husband and I were admiring it during the day as the sunlight bathed the entire waterfall area. That was already beautiful in itself but once it got to nightfall, it was even more splendid with the fairy lights twinkling all around! There was even a light show lasting for about 3 minutes where images and lasers were projected onto the falling waters. It was simply spectacular and definitely worth a visit both night and day. My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #exploresgtogether #momentssg #tripmoments #moreinsg #waterfall #shoppingmall #singapore

Changi Airport Terminal 1 transit

Changi Airport Terminal 1 transit

Flew out from Changi Airport Terminal 1 on Malaysia Airlines. T1 is really impressive after the renovation started a couple of years ago. Just immediately after passport control, you are greeted with the greenery of the mini ponds with plant and small aquatic fishes in the pond. This is fantastic spot for take a couple of good photos with friends and family. There are also interesting lighting design at certain part of the terminal. The colour selection of the carpet also bring out superior design concepts.

SATS Premier Lounge@Changi Airport T1

Had a chance to visit SATS Premier Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 1. This lounge is quite well managed and the check in verification was quite fast. There were some comfortable seating area for you to relax and a separate dinning area. It was close to midnight during my visit and the food selection availability is still quite plentiful. There were local delights like Laksa and more. As for beverages, the selection is also good. Highly recommended if you have a chance to visit this lounge in between flights.

🇸🇬SG’s 1st net positive energy nature park

Newly opened in November 2022, Rifle Range Nature Park is located south of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Do you know that it is also Singapore’s first net positive energy nature park? The energy consumption of the park is solely provided by the energy harvested from the solar panels installed around the nature with some surplus. The main highlight of the park is the freshwater wetland converted from the former Sin Seng Quarry, which was once one of the deepest quarries in Singapore. It is best viewed from Colugo Deck, a viewing deck 31 metres above the wetland. The trails and boardwalks in the park are generally gentle, making the park suitable for people of all ages. One can easily explore the park in under 2 hours. The boardwalks are wheelchair and stroller friendly. Rifle Range Nature Park opens daily from 7am to 7pm daily. The easiest way to reach there is via an overhead bridge from Beauty World Centre level 4. Take exit A of Beauty World MRT. #singapore #park #nature #naturepark #riflerange #bukittimah #boardwalk #trail #wetland #tripblazers
