Xiao Mu Deng Steamboat

#moreinsg Address: 1 Selegie Road, #01-18 GR.ID Mall. Singapore 188306. Opening hours: 11am to 2am midnight, daily This is a steamboat restaurant that carries a rich food culture of Chong Qing. A place that is filled with traditional wooden and painted stories of southwest China in it's olden days. As we arrived after 9pm, there is a promo that is $20 per pax for the hotpot buffet, we started with the soups that came in a yuan yang pot. Pork Bone and Tomyam Soup was our choice, I personally like their Tomyam soup as it’s more flavorful. It is also come with a bbq plate so you can enjoy both grilled and hotpot. As we arrived late, some of the meats are sold out and they will not replenish, what a pity, overall it’s still not a bad choice with this promo price, but I don’t think I will visit again.

Saizeriya II @Jcube

Saizeriya II @Jcube

Saizeriya, Italian concept restaurant. Though the feel is pretty similar but it is not all the same. This branch at Jcube slightly smaller but offers what other branches can offer. Decided that I will have a Saizeriya series documentation in my posts. Hence, I went to visit the branch @ Jcube this time. Portions are pretty good. The wings here are crispy, however, presentation may not be as good. The dishes are slightly more flavored. Yes, it’s still nice to taste. This branch puts more cheese in their margarita pizza. Worth the try!

$10 Japanese meal for 2 🤩

#moreinsg Where can you find affordable 24 hours Japanese food in Singapore? The answer is at Takagi Ramen 🍜 Takagi Ramen serves quick self-service ramen and rice bowls, with value for money Japanese meals all around the clock. That means at any time you are hungry and craving food, you can go down to Takagi Ramen to enjoy. Most of the menu prices are quite reasonable, with a good serving size. You can even opt for a free additional ramen refill when ordering. We ordered a ramen and rice bowl, and got their noodles refill, of which all in all cost just $10 for the 2 of us. It's definitely a fulfilling meal and we will be back again soon to try some of the other selections.

Hidden temple at havelock

#mysgmemories #tripblazers The Giok Hong Tian Temple is located at the Havelock road. The nearest train station is at the Havelock station which is at the Thomson east coast line. The temple opening hours are from 7am to late in the afternoon. At times you can see people going there to pray. There are also Buddha statues such as the jade emperor, the Guan yin statue, and other taoist deities being featured at the temple. The temple is one of the oldest in Singapore with close to a century year old. If you are in the nearby area, you might want to visit the temple and pray there.

Cityscape of Tanjong Pagar

#cityscapes With my staycay set in motion, I made a mental note to check out the surroundings of Tanjong Pagar before the sun blazes on me☀️ Have always passed by the Maxwell area without much thought and I now realized that it’s such a quaint quiet area in the day without the buzz of nightlife and alcohol parties! ❤️ The mix of shophouse facades and old buildings presents a cute contrast with it towering neigbours which makes for a nice late morning stroll. The infusion of hipster stuff does not impact the sense of nostalgia and in fact adds on a rather quirky vibe to the landscape. 🗾 Now I wish I had more time to explore the area 🥹

Lebanese Food at Tabbouleh

Location - Tabbouleh Address - 54 Bussorah Street, Singapore 199470 Ambiance/Facilities - Great Lebanese interior deco Highlights - Great food and location is near Haji Lane Avg. Price per Person - $30 Rating - 5 stars A great place for middle eastern food. My partner and I went for a casual lunch and decided to try something different after strolling along Haji Lane. We chanced upon Tabbouleh and decided to give it a try. We had the Mezza Platter and Shish Tawouk for sharing. The food far exceeded our expectations and it was really great. We enjoyed them and will definitely be back here for more in the future! The location is great as well. It is right at Haji Lane and next to the Sultan Mosque. You could even stroll around and get some shopping done after the meal. #summervacation#urbanexplorer

28 Hongkong Street

#sgfoodies 28 Hong Kong Street is an exceptional bespoke cocktail bar nestled in the heart of Singapore, and it's no surprise that it has consistently earned its place among the World's 50 Top Best Bars. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. The cocktails at 28 Hong Kong Street are nothing short of exquisite. I indulged in a Negroni and a perfectly crafted Whiskey on the Rocks, and both were an absolute delight. The intensity of flavors in these cocktails was a true testament to the skill of the mixologists. Each sip was a journey through a symphony of taste, leaving me craving for more. But what truly sets 28 Hong Kong Street apart is the exceptional service. The bartenders here go above and beyond to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. To my surprise, they generously treated everyone to free shots, adding an unexpected layer of warmth and hospitality to the experience. In conclusion, 28 Hong Kong Street is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary cocktail experience in Singapore. The delicious drinks, the expertly crafted cocktails, and the unparalleled service make it stand out as one of the city's finest establishments. This is more than just a bar; it's an unforgettable journey for your taste buds and your spirits.
