Rydges Melbourne

Rydges Melbourne

#australiatravel "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rydges Melbourne. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city’s theatre district was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. My room was spacious, clean, and modern, featuring a comfortable bed and a lovely city view. The rooftop pool was a great spot to unwind after a busy day, and the on-site restaurant served excellent food. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making sure my needs were met. While the elevators were a bit slow during peak times, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. I’d happily return."

Proud Mary Coffee

This is a must go if you are a fan of filter coffee! I got mine in the El Salvador ‘La Guachoca’ blend as well as an Apricot & Fig toast to go with it. Coffee was unique with a citrusy finish and the toast was delicious! Every inch of it was covered in raisins, or apricots, if not figs and the mild citrus mascarpone served alongside it really helped tone down the rich flavors. Located near Fitzroy garden, you can take a nice morning walk through the quiet garden into the city while sipping on the light-bodied coffee. ☕️ #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Bloomwood Coffee & Food

#australiatrip Nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s bustling CBD, Bloomwood Coffee & Food offers a unique twist on traditional pastries with its Asian-inspired viennoiserie. The café, designed by Hacsan Design, exudes a serene Japandi aesthetic, featuring light timber panelling, circular paper lantern ceiling lamps, and custom noren curtains. Bloomwood’s menu is a delightful blend of classic and innovative flavors, with highlights such as the corn cheese Danish, pandan crepes filled with shredded coconut and palm sugar, and the taro flower Danish topped with coconut cream jelly and ube mascarpone. The specialty drinks are equally impressive, with options like the coconut iced matcha and citrus cold brew, which can be transformed into a “Bloom-tini” garnished with three baby croissants on a skewer. This café is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a fusion of cultures through food and ambiance.

western port

#celebratewithtrip visited the western port when I was in Melbourne for a day trip to the Philip island. this was part of the trip Organised by my tour group hence I was driven to the western port to explore the area. it is so beautiful and we went there before the sun set and it was already such an amazing and mesmerizing view to look at. however there was a time limit given to us hence we could not enjoy the sunset view over here as we had to head off to other destinations. it is a nice place for some photo taking and the scenery is really breathtaking. it is also a bit cold here and quite a bit to walk but still manageable.

The earth is round, dividing this world into many countries, each with different beliefs. There are also many love stories circulating, love knows no borders, no ethnicities, it is sacred. We have heard of romantic Paris and beautiful Victoria abroad, today we will enter Melbourne, a place worth traveling to for those who yearn for love. Even in a foreign land, love is not lacking. Melbourne is a beautiful place with picturesque scenery, and at night, every place is filled with intoxicating beauty. From photographer Minghui.

higher ground cafe exterior

#celebratewithtrip the exterior building of higher ground cafe is really pretty. and so is the ambience of the cafe. I visited the cafe on a weekday yet it was so crowded. there were plenty of people just chilling while some were working or having discussions. the food here is also great! In terms of atmosphere and ambience , it is not very noisy even though there’s a lot of people. there are plenty of seats available also. I did not make a reservation yet managed to get seated within 10 minutes. staff are also very helpful and friendly. payment is made only before you leave the cafe. would recommend visiting this cool cafe!

Sensory Lab Specialty Coffee

Smacked in the heart of the city, this is a great place if you want to take a break from a full day of shopping. I also had a very interesting chocolate bar (vegan and gluten-free) to go along with my coffee and it was yummy. It was so packed with all sorts of things it almost didn’t taste like a chocolate bar. My first bite had chunks of dried coconut, the second was filled with crunchy nuts, and the next had some crisps in them, maybe even granola – it was all things crunchy. This is also another one of those go-to coffee places known for its consistency. 😋 #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer
