Bath's Georgian Roots: Royal Crescent

This monumental semicircular sweep of residential townhouses is famous for its breathtakingly uniform, palace-like façade. No.1 Royal Crescent is open to the public (most homes on the crescent remain privately owned) and provides a rare glimpse into what life was like for the wealthy - along with their not-so-wealthy servants - in the 1770s. A variety of guided tours, educational events, and themed itineraries are available. #culturalattractions

Roman Bath

Finally we came in to this Roman Bath! The building have few segments that has museum on it. I'm not really much into history, but I heard this used to be where Roman empire in UK took a bath from rain water. There were also rules apply as in who can took bath here. (no, it's not for us to go and dip in! although it's filled with water.) There's miniature and details of building design, overall place and name of each segment. I'm amazed on how detail it is, until the small figure of men are also inside. It's quite cute and super hard to make for sure. Besides, there are also some example of ruins which come from part of this building. Journey start here, more to discover inside! #createwithtrip #bath #roman #unitedkingdom #uk #exploreuk #historicalsites #urbanexplorer

Bath

The city of Bath is one of the most popular tourist cities in the UK, about 3.5 hours from London by bus. The location is also close to Stonehenge (one of the most popular places in England in the form of large piles of ancient stones). Usually the tourists will take a package trip from London to Bath and then to Stonehenge. The trip to the city of Bath is arguably one of my most memorable travel experiences in England, because this city is so beautiful. In the City of Bath I also found a place that is said to be very frequented by fans of Jane Austin's novels. For those of you who know the name of Jane Austin, the City of Bath was the location for the stories of several of the novels she wrote. There are two of the most famous architectural figures in Bath, namely John Wood Sr. and his son John Wood Jr. They became important figures behind several historic buildings in the City of Bath. One of them is the Royal Crecent (the shape of the building is like a crescent moon), an upscale apartment that is still used by the elite in England. The gardens in Bath are also a must-see. The reason is that there are many art objects such as statues that we can enjoy while taking photos. The best time to go around Bath City is 9am in the bright sun. In England if we choose the wrong day, a very beautiful place will lose its charisma if the weather is not favorable. #bestislandtraveltowns
