Moreton Island Get Wrecked 1-Day Tour

We met our fellow tour guests at the Brisbane Coach Terminal meeting point. Sunset Safaris also does pick-ups from Gold Coast but they are more expensive and the meeting time is way earlier. The driver then collected $50 from each person for the National Park and Ferry levy fees. After that, it was a comfortable 45-minute drive to the port to board the MiCat Ferry. Our first activity was taking a four-wheel-drive (4WD) out to the desert for sand tobogganing. Then we had a picnic lunch which they provided. The next two activities were snorkelling and transparent kayaking around the shipwrecks, with equipment provided (super convenient!). My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #tripmoments #tour #adventure #nature #snorkelling #kayaking #sandtobogganing #brisbane #australia

🇦🇺Brisbane | Calling all DOG LOVERS 🐾

If you’re in Brisbane, make sure to visit Corgi Garden, a delightful dining spot that combines delicious food and a delightful pet-friendly environment! The dining experience was a treat for both the taste buds and the heart. I started my meal with the mouthwatering BBQ Pork with , perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The highlight of my visit was the Corgi Butt Bun - not only was it visually charming, but it was also surprisingly tasty, as it’s filled with rich nutella . To complement my meal, I tried their Matcha Latte, which was wonderfully creamy and had just the right amount of matcha goodness. And for dessert, I indulged in the French dessert canele, which is hard to find in town, and it left me craving for more! But Corgi Garden is more than just a restaurant. They have an irresistible selection of Corgi-themed merchandise, including T-shirts, caps, and phone holders. So, if you're a fan of these adorable pups, you'll surely find something to take home as a memento of your visit. Now, let's talk about the main attraction that sets Corgi Garden apart - Kit Kat, the lovable Corgi who graces the restaurant every weekend! This friendly four-legged ambassador adds a touch of charm and warmth to the place. Customers are encouraged to snap photos with Kit Kat, and let me tell you, this made my visit even more memorable! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff ready to assist. The restaurant's Corgi-inspired decor created a fun and lively ambiance that puts a smile on your face as soon as you step inside. Overall, my experience at Corgi Garden was fantastic, and I highly recommend this unique dining spot to anyone who loves good food, adorable Corgis, and a heartwarming atmosphere. 🇦🇺Brisbane | 150-year-old post office 📮

Allow me to transport you to the heart of Brisbane's rich history – a rendezvous with the captivating General Post Office. An intricate fusion of yesteryears and contemporary allure that left me spellbound. The modern day’s Australia Post Office has an interior that is decorated in modern designs but still maintain the traditional British aspect such as the red posting box. It serves functions as a typical post office but has a historical outlook. The building’s legacy harks back to an era when handwritten letters embarked on journeys within these very walls, stitching lives across distances. Its architectural grace spun tales of a time when post offices held the key to communication. The GPO unfolds as a picturesque canvas ready to be immortalized. The interplay of dignified architecture and intricate details transforms every click into a work of art. From the ornate facade to the vintage post boxes, every angle offered an abundance of inspiration. In the heart of Brisbane's dynamic rhythm, the GPO stands as a living relic of eras gone by, while gracefully embracing the present. 📍General Post Office Address - 261 Queen St, Brisbane City Rating - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #timetotravel

Mount Coo-Tha Lookout Trail Hike/Track

Out of all the other hikes and trails available, Mount Coo-Tha was chosen because it was located comparatively nearer to the city centre than the rest. We then passed by a picturesque lake area that looked perfect for a picnic, but as we were told that the gate to the trail closes at 4pm, we couldn’t spend much time taking photos here. There were water fountains at certain points of the journey, which was great because I only had a half-empty 500ml bottle of water with me (don’t be like me, please bring enough water!). The trails were generally moderate in terms of difficulty, with some parts easier than others. There were a few steep-ish uphill climbs which required some level of fitness to surmount, but going at my own pace and taking short breaks really helped. The path was sufficiently wide and level, making for a smoother ascend. While it was a good feeling being able to make it up to the lookout, I thought the view didn’t justify the amount of effort it took us to get there. Also, there weren’t many breath-taking scenes along the way except that lake area, not sure if it was a seasonal thing but many trees were either bare or had browning leaves. My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #tripmoments #hikingtrails #hiking #nature #tracking #brisbane #australia

🩶The Silver Suite🩶

Yesterday mummy took us to the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane, and it was beautiful! A hotel with modern French zest, she booked a silver suite. We say silver because the decor was so well done it felt like silver rather than grey, so that was wonderful! 💎 The view from the Silver Suite is a good one, especially at night. There was a lovely range of complimentary tea and coffee so mummy made us each a cup of peppermint tea which was a delight ☕ What a lovely way to spend the first days of 2025. Happy new year fellow travellers!🎇🎆 #besthotels #familytrip #familytravel #travel #resorts
