Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Venetian glassmaking is a treasure of traditional Italian art. It is a superb skill inherited for hundreds of years. It integrates unique culture and allows you to personally participate and feel the charm of art and history.

Rich and diverse course content: The Venetian glassmaking course content is rich and diverse. The raw materials are selected from local high-quality natural ores and refined by special processes to ensure that the glass has pure color and crystal texture. The production techniques include blowing, wire drawing, inlay and other traditional techniques. The firing process is rigorous, and the glass undergoes precise temperature control in a high-temperature furnace before it can be shaped. The course duration is usually 1-3 days. Short courses can experience basic blowing, while long courses can deeply learn complex inlay techniques to meet different needs.

Good teaching quality: The number of students in the class is strictly controlled, and the number of students is generally small, so that the teacher can pay full attention to the operation details of each student, give guidance and correction in time, and ensure the teaching quality and learning effect of the students. The teachers are all senior masters in the Venetian glass making industry. They have rich practical experience, not only superb skills, but also unique aesthetics. The teaching method focuses on the combination of practice and theory, from explaining the basic principles to hands-on demonstration, and then to one-on-one guidance of students to ensure that every student can master the skills and highly restore the traditional craftsmanship.

Complete facilities and equipment: The workshop is equipped with advanced and sufficient facilities and equipment. The high-temperature furnace can heat up quickly and control the temperature accurately to ensure the glass firing effect. Professional blowpipes, molds and other tools are all available, allowing students to create efficiently. The workshop will also regularly maintain and update equipment to provide students with a good creative environment.

Experiencing glassmaking in Venice is not only a learning of skills, but also an exploration of the city's profound cultural heritage. Feel the unique charm of glass art, create your own works of art, and start a glass art journey that belongs to you!

PONTE ON POINT 🌁💕🇮🇹✈️

The Ponte di Rialto is unquestionably the most well-known and iconic of the bridges that cross the magnificent Grand Canal. The bridge, which links Venice's San Marco and San Polo neighborhoods, serves as a vital pedestrian thoroughfare and a major tourist destination. This conclusion, which was initially a wooden bridge, stood for hundreds of years before collapsing in 1524. An elaborate stone bridge was constructed as a result of this tragedy and is still in use today. You can stroll across the well-known Rialto Bridge from the easternmost point in the San Polo area to the northernmost point in the San Marco district. The oldest of the four bridges in Venice is the covered bridge, which was built in the sixteenth century. Numerous stores selling jewelry and souvenirs may be found on both sides of the pedestrian bridge. This bridge was originally a floating pontoon, but as traffic on the nearby Rialto Market expanded, it was decided to build the bridge out of wood. In the past, the bridge could be lifted from both sides to allow ships with protruding decks to pass. The 15th century saw the addition of the businesses on the bridge. #cityoverlook #tripaway #europe #venice #italy #unescoworldheritagesite #holidayvacation

THE FLOATING CITY ✈️🇮🇹🛶🚤🛟

If you're a young traveler exploring Europe, Venice is a must-see. It's an oasis of glistening canals surrounded by magnificent palaces. A transcendent experience is just getting lost in the streets; you'll be submerged in passageways next to grand canals and smell the fresh sea air. It's simply fantastic. Venice is one of the most fascinating and genuinely beautiful towns in the world, appearing to be floating on water. The entire city, which boasts elegant bridges, quaint lanes, and fantastic shopping, is included as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This, together with attractions like Piazza San Marco, home to St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, a bustling boardwalk, Venetian glassblowing, and, of course, gondola rides, make it clear that to skip this city would be unfair. #cityoverlook #europeanarchitecture #europe #italy #tripaway #venice

In the recent trip to Venice, I have captured lots of pictures about the boat and gondola on the river . I really liked the stunning view in there and the buildings are also colourful and look historical . The architecture in there was also impressed me a lot , such as the long bridge connecting both area of the city. #Venice

Looking to explore the timeless beauty of Venice? Here’s a concise and comprehensive 3-day itinerary to ensure a memorable exploration of the city's iconic canals, historic landmarks, and vibrant culture. Accommodation: Book a hotel or Airbnb in central areas like San Marco or Castello for easy access to the main attractions. Accommodation fees range from €100-€200 per night for mid-range options. 👉 Book a hotel in Venice Route Planning & Scenic Spots: Day 1: Begin exploration with Piazza San Marco, then visit St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. Enjoy a gondola ride through the canals. Day 2: Explore the Rialto Market and Bridge in the morning. Spend the afternoon in the artistic neighborhood of Dorsoduro. | The Perfect Venetian Stay

| The Perfect Venetian Stay

I recently checked in to the Cipriani Belmond Hotel in Venice, located at Giudecca 10. The hotel is very close to St. Mark's Square, only a four-minute private boat ride away. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient, with the hotel's water taxis providing direct access to Venice's major attractions. Geographically, the hotel is situated on the peaceful Giudecca Island, offering stunning views of the Venice Lagoon and Doge's Palace. The decor is luxurious and elegant, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a large swimming pool and tennis courts. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the reception staff were warm, friendly, and fluent in English, making my stay hassle-free. My room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as a high-definition flat-screen TV, an iPod dock, and free Wi-Fi. The room featured a large bed, excellent lighting, and furniture including a sofa and a small table. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with a separate bathtub and shower, double sinks, and generously sized toiletries. Dining at the hotel's Cip's Club and Porticciolo Restaurant was a delightful experience. Overlooking St. Mark's Square, the restaurants offer authentic Italian cuisine and a charming setting for afternoon tea. The breakfast spread was extensive, especially appealing to those who enjoy fresh, made-to-order European breakfasts. 🌟Nearby Recommendations: If you have time, explore Venice's must-see attractions, such as the Grand Canal, Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Square, and St. Mark's Basilica, to experience the unique charm of this city on water. There are also some excellent restaurants near the hotel, including Tango Bar Venezia, Vacaria Ristopub, and Gelateria Ca' D'oro. 📝The only minor drawback is the relatively high price, including the rather expensive drinks at the bar. However, overall, if you can afford it, this hotel offers exceptional value. For those seeking a special experience, it's a perfect choice and one that will create lasting memories. I look forward to returning and experiencing a different side of Venetian charm✨

Most Beautiful Bookstore in the World!

#bookstoresandgalleries Hidden along Venice’s side streets behind an unassuming facade, Libreria Acqua Alta, this unique bookstore is home to a treasure trove of new and used books. The name itself even means “Book Store of High Water.” Keeping a collection of books in a city where the roads are made of water is a dangerous idea to begin with, but Venice’s Libreria Acqua Alta has composed of a number of over-stuffed rooms stacked wall-to-wall with books, magazines, maps, and other ephemera. Due to Venice’s constant flooding, however, these picturesque piles are all placed inside bathtubs, waterproof bins, and in one room a full-size gondola. Climb the staircase made out of damaged books to enjoy an idyllic view, which is located at the end of the bookstore. Don’t miss out on taking a photo at the fire escape, which opens out to the canal. Also, try to spot one of the many resident cats the bookstore has adopted. 🕰️Business Hours: 9.30am to 7.15pm Monday - Sunday 📍Address: C. Longa Santa Maria Formosa, 5176b, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy. 💞Reasons to Recommend: unique method of storing books, and its beautiful decor. #italytrip #100waysoftravel #italy #beautiful_italy
