Introduction Cherry Blossom Viewing in Nara

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Nara is like a beautiful spring painting during the cherry blossom season. The cherry blossom season in Nara is usually between March and April, and different varieties of cherry blossoms bloom one after another, extending the flower viewing period.
Nara Park is a must-see cherry blossom viewing spot. There are more than 1,600 cherry blossom trees in the park, including precious varieties such as Nara Kuezakura and Nara Yaezakura. The blooming cherry blossoms and lively deer complement each other, which is smart and beautiful. Kasuga Taisha Shrine is also located here. The vermilion shrine hall and the snow-like cherry blossoms complement each other, and the stone lanterns surrounded by cherry blossoms add to the ancient charm.
Saba River, a cherry blossom trail stretching about 5 kilometers on both sides of the river, is planted with more than 1,000 cherry trees. Strolling along the riverside, you can enjoy the romance surrounded by cherry blossoms. The river reflects the flowers on the trees, which is quiet and charming. Yoshino Mountain has about 30,000 white mountain cherry blossoms. During the cherry blossom season, the flowers bloom from the bottom to the top of the mountain. The magnificent landscape of "a thousand books at a glance" attracts countless tourists. There are many shrines and temples on the mountain. In addition to enjoying the cherry blossoms, you can also feel the strong historical and cultural atmosphere.
Cherry blossom viewing in Nara not only allows you to indulge in the natural beauty, but also experience the unique charm of Japanese traditional culture in the fusion of ancient monuments and cherry blossoms, leaving unforgettable memories.

Doi Doi Mochi time 🍡🍡

#2024wish You MUST come here if you travel to NARA🍡💫 Nakatanidou (中谷堂) has gained its name when they joined a famous Japanese TV championship program playing the mochi demonstration where the owner will beat on the mochi in a very high speed while the other one will be using a big hammer to do the same at the same time!! Ever since then, they are having the demonstrations daily in their shop and it has attracted a lot of foreign tourists to shot the video until the extend the staffs will need to stand by the street to ensure the traffic is okay!! When we visited there, the police car even patrolled the place to make sure it does not affect the car drivers. After the demonstration, remember to buy the fresh mochi as well at JPY 180 and you will be impressed with its taste and texture. They do sell it in a box (prepared earlier) too if you would like to buy some home but making comparison with the fresh 1, there is still same differences. 😅 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In 2024, I wish to travel to Perth!!

Fried donuts so tasty, i had 2 rounds

If you have not tried fried donuts before, this is a store with branches all over Japan that you would have to search for. Got one to try to begin with and really loved how it is crunchy and yet, has a chewy texture, hence went for a second. Did not regret and will be back as they have a big variety and cute ones to cheer little ones up. Address Floresta Nara Main Store 奈良本店 Japan, 〒630-8226 Nara, Konishicho, 8-1 ラフィーヌ東洋ビル 1階

Tōdai-ji: Home of the Great Buddha and Timeless Grandeur

#japantrip #nara Visiting Tōdai-ji in Nara was a truly awe-inspiring experience. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty in the 8th century, Tōdai-ji was constructed to house the Great Buddha (Daibutsu) as a symbol of peace and unity in Japan. Although the current structure is a reconstruction from the Edo period, it remains the largest wooden building in the world and is an impressive testament to ancient craftsmanship. The colossal bronze Buddha statue inside, standing at 15 meters tall, left us in awe with its sheer scale and serene presence. Walking through this grand wooden temple, surrounded by its rich history and spiritual atmosphere, was an unforgettable highlight of Nara.

When the leaves turn red 🍁🍂

I visited Nara on a short vacation with friends. I love this place it feels so calm. I learned that Nara was once the capital of Japan during The Nara period before the capital moved to Kyoto. We visited Todaiji, a Buddhist temple from the 8th century and the world's largest wooden building. The experience I will always remember was how the deer greeted us as we walk into Nara Park. Such a beautiful day and a beautiful view to enjoy. When the autumn breeze blows, it chills me out but looking at leaves that are turning red brings the feel of warmth to the heart. Wonderful vacation, wonderful autumn. #fallingforfall #本地遊 #urbanexplorer #nationalpark
