Introduction Budapest Cave Exploration

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is not only the pearl of the Danube, but also hides the only explorable urban underground cave system in Europe. Millions of years ago, volcanic activity and hot spring erosion carved out a fantastic maze with a total length of more than 40 kilometers at the bottom of the Buda Mountains. Palvolgyi Cave and Semler Cave are famous for their honeycomb-shaped caves and stalactites. The twisted rock corridors are covered with silica crystals, and the snowflakes and coral-like calcite clusters formed by hot spring precipitation flash like stars under the searchlight. Explorers can wear professional equipment, crawl through narrow fossil passages, cross the calcified pools formed by underground hot spring erosion, and occasionally encounter prehistoric shell marks on the cave walls. The air-raid shelters left over from World War II and the medieval wine cellars are intertwined, and the traces of gunpowder smoke can still be felt by touching the rock walls. Professional guides often design "Earth Center Jigsaw Puzzle" challenges to connect geological wonders with historical codes. The hot spring steam is lingering in the depths of the cave, making this underground time and space travel in the city a three-dimensional epic of nature and humanity.

Keleti Palyaudvar Budapest train station

Keleti Palyaudvar Budapest train station

Travelled by high speed train from Salzburg Austria to Budapest Hungary arrived at Keleti Budapest train station. The train station itself is an attraction. It is well connected with train services to neighboring countries. This train station is convenient link to their metro lines/bus services to bring you to other parts of Budapest city. The entrance of the train station is rather grand with nice building architecture.

🇭🇺Hungarian Christmas🇭🇺

A beautiful Hungarian Christmas💙 We went to the St.Stephen’s Basilica Market and it was very lively😍Considered the prettiest Christmas market in Budapest, this Christmas market has a 200-square-metre ice skating rink and a huge Christmas tree in the centre of the square: the perfect place to take some spectacular photos with the basilica in the background.Apart from this, there is the 3D projection light show displayed on the façade of St. Stephen's Basilica😍🎄🇭🇺 A must visit in Budapest, one of a kind! #christmastrip #foodie #foodies #urbanexplorer #historicallandmarks #localguides #awesomepic #trip

🇭🇺Tasty Breakfast at Budapest🇭🇺

We had our breakfast buffet every morning at our hotel in Budapest and it is something we looked forward to everyday. The spread was always such a variety of delicious savories to sweet, their cold cuts and cheese alone was impressive. Their pastries are amazing as well as their hot dishes, you can personally order any kind of egg you want. The coffee and tea kept coming and the seating area isn’t always full which is great! We had a lovely time just enjoying our food and coffee here, when you book a stay here be sure to book with breakfast. It is worth it👍 #christmastrip #awesomepic #foodie #mytripvlog #tripblazers #freehotelstay

Amazing Budapest!! 🎉

Budapest is one of my most favourite cities! It’s an architecture heaven! Buzzing nightlife & all that. Had a day trip in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. And I stayed in a party hostel where sleeping wasn’t allowed! Yes they told me if you want to sleep this isn’t the right place for you! There was loud music all night and literally no sleep at all! After seeing all the sights during day, went for a boat ride at late night and we had free unlimited cocktails! It was a night to remember as fireworks went on over the river as people were dancing through the night! When you think of Budapest, just think about the fun. #passionpassport #staycation #budapest #gooutside

Budapest, a city with a beautiful night view.

#celebrateit#hungary #budapest I went on a trip with my mom to celebrate my new beginning. It was also my mom's favorite city. The night view is a really nice city. The brightly shining Parliament House is very impressive. If you climb the hill and look down the whole area, you can see the amazing city at a glance. The Szecheny Bridge is also cool and you can cross it on foot. There are many famous hot springs, so if you like hot springs, I hope you can have a hot spring in Hungary. The prices are low, so I was able to travel at a good price.

Europes most beautiful city?

Exploring Budapest on foot is a true delight, as it offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and stunning architecture. Begin at the Buda Castle, with its incredible views over the Danube and Pest. Stroll across the Chain Bridge, a symbol of unity between Buda and Pest. Wander down Andrássy Avenue, lined with grand 19th-century buildings and cafes, leading to Heroes' Square and the impressive City Park. Along the way, you’ll encounter iconic landmarks like the Hungarian Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, and the colorful Central Market Hall. Budapest’s walkable charm and vibrant streets make every step memorable #citystroll #budapest #europetrip #citywalk
