De kamer, locatie zijn prima. Het ontbijt was echter een volledige aanfluiting. Geen ontbijtbuffet, maar miniatuur tapas gerechtjes in drie gangen. De hapjes waren prima van smaak. Soms wat heeeel erg zoet. Miniatuur broodje met geitenkaas in de ochtend, bv. Zeven stuks p.p. In totaal, een bediening die op zich liet wachten, geen keuze opties. Wij zijn na een half uur wachten op een kop koffie (ook miniatuur) weggelopen. Een vijf (?) Sterren hotel waar geen fatsoenlijk ontbijt (€18 p.p) te eten is.

This hotel would be one of the best stops we have had on all our travels! Staff were amazing and the food is a gourmet paradise . The rest of the Netherlands needs to pay them a visit it is amazing. Rooms excellent location is excellent staff excellent and food excellent!

We booked the Zutphen City arrangement to great satisfaction. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with coffee and a delicious pastry. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The city center of Zutphen is walkable from the hotel and offers plenty of terraces and shopping possibilities. Upon return we enjoyed a 6-course fine dining. Staff is very friendly. The no-nonsense spirit of the owners - Marieke (Maître d'Hôtel) and Niels (Chef) - is reflecting on the team, who are very knowledgeable about all dishes, very service-minded, with the capacity to adjust customs in line with the guests. Michelin star potential!

Midden in het gezellige centrum van Zutphen. Hier op een zonnige middag alleen maar een drankje gedronken. Prachtige lokatie, heel rustig ondanks dat je midden in het centrum bent. Vriendelijk personeel en een mooie kruidentuin. Eten ziet er prachtig uit.

Samen met dochter en schoonzoon genoten van een 6-gangendiner. Bij binnenkomst in een leeg restaurant,werden we in een hoek gezet, ik maakte nog een opmerking "wat jammer dat we niet in de open keuken kunnen kijken", maar daar werd niet op ingespeeld . Wel werd direct gevraagd of we plat of bruiswater wilden, dat daar later op de rekening per persoon 5,95 water arrangement voor op staat, vond ik niet gastvrij, niet uit een fles maar een gewone karaf(Zutphense gemeente pils?) Bij de gastvrouw kon geen lachje af (ach, we hebben allemaal wel eens onze dag niet) maar de gastheer maakte met zijn enthousiasme het helemaal goed. Bij bezoek aan toilet word je verrast door de wijnschatkamer. Het eten was heerlijk met veel variatie, maar graag bij de uitleg rustiger praten.

Restaurant is leuk ze maken leuke gerechten. Vind het heel irritant dat ze een aantal keer aan tafel komen om wat bij te verkopen en de prijzen op tafel gooien. Het zou ze sieren wat minder over geld te praten

Small hotel, connected to a restaurant. We found the rooms very cosy. Good work desk. Big tv, double bed (the boxspring in our room seemed to have passed his expiry date though) Great rain shower, and good bathroom, separate toilet. Small fridge in the room. Biggest disadvantage no own parking space, there s public paying parking (but max 4 hours) or parking at the nearby station. But overall a very nice, warm room in a quiet environment.

Excellent and beautiful hotel. Great restoration that stays true to period. Very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is fine dining with fixed price and chef choice. The location is great and centrally located.

Zeer smaakvol ingericht hotel en restaurant. We hebben hier genoten van een 6 gangen diner. Alles was even lekker. De kamer had een goede douche. Het bed was wel iets te zacht naar mijn mening. Verder de volgende ochtend een uitgebreid 3 gangen ontbijt gehad, dat zeker voldoende was. Het kost wel wat maar daar moet je dan niet te lang bij stilstaan en gewoon genieten van de ervaring.
