I thought this was a wonderful hotel. Beautiful spacious lobby and pleasant check-in staff. The rooms may be considered small, but for one person, it was just right. High ceilings in the room and balcony with a nice city view. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The location is unbeatable, near the lake and in the quaint and well-restauranted theater district. Area is respectable and relatively quiet. No question this hotel is perfect for a comfortable stay, and for older guests, you will especially appreciate the vibe.

Best location - action, beaches, shopping, dining, boat trips, bike rentals, cinemas….
Transit is easy but also lots to walk to close.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our AC didn’t work initially, however they moved our room & on top of it had a technician come check the floor’s AC. The new room was even cooler the next day. We opted for the breakfast in the morning and they had a great selection with excellent coffee. There was a convenient store/supermercado across the street open late. There was a very nice tapas bar on the corner where we stopped in very late one night and ate. But the street was quiet & very safe. A couple of blocks (up/down and to sides) there were many places to eat also. Our 4 night stay was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again.

Organizing hotel rooms for our friends during an international alumni meeting in Zurich, we i.a. recommended a stay at Opera Hotel Zurich. Based on that, 2 of our friends booked. In sum, the rooms were extremely small, way too expensive, coffee maker not working, no bed light ..... and no comment nor excuses on staff side.

La habitación es demasiado demasiado chica, no cabe una pareja. La cama es para una persona no para dos. Totalmente en desacuerdo con lo q pagamos. Muy desilusionada de la habitación. No parece hotel de cinco estrellas. Muuuuuuuyyyyyy maaaaalllll. No me gustó para nada la habitación Tuvimos que pagar un upgrade para poder caber dos personas.
