Das Castell ist ein super schönes und sehr sauberes Hotel. Die Übernachtung in diesem historischen und äusserst kunstvoll eingerichteten Gebäude ist ein Erlebnis. Alle Angestellten waren extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten im Hamam und beim Nachtessen Angestellte, die sehr schlecht Deutsch konnten. Die Erklärungen in gebrochenem und sehr schnellem Deutsch waren leider kaum verständlich für uns…schade. Wir haben eine mehrtägige Biketour gemacht und in vier unterschiedlichen Hotels übernachtet. Überall wurde uns ein Welcome-Drink offeriert, nur leider in Zuoz nicht.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und ruhig. Tolle Aussicht mit Wellness Bereich und Shuttle nach Zuoz. Das alte und moderne hat uns gefallen. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist schön, neu und sauber. Die Mitarbeitenden vom Empfang und dem Speisesaal waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offem.

Wir sind bei der vorbeifahrt auf einen Abstecher ins Castell Zuoz eingekehrt. Der Service ist nett und die Qualität der Speisen ist gut. Der Stil ist nicht so meins aber über Geschmack lässt sich ja vermutlich streiten. Die Lage oberhalb von zuoz und mit Blick bis tief ins Oberengadin ist genial.

The installation by James Turell makes us to come back again and again, year after year. It is actually one of our secret places that we would love to keep only for ourselves.

Die Bar mit dem echten Kamin hatte ein super Ambiente. Das Morgenessen und Abendessen war ausgezeichnet. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer grandios. Man sah das Tal und die Berge. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Eine Tiefgarage kann mit Aufpreis gewählt werden. Die ausgestellte Kunst ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit vorbildlichem, freundlichen Personal. Das Essen ist eine Klasse für sich und definiert Genuss auf höchstem Niveau. Der Besuch im Hamam rundet das ganze enspannend ab. Im ganzen Gebäude trifft man auf die verschiedensten Kunstgegenstände.

Hier passt einfach alles: aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, die uns Gäste mit spürbarer Freude umsorgen; wunderschöne Zimmer und eine phantastische Sonnenterasse mit Bergpanorama. Nicht zu vergessen das leckere Essen, ob nun am reichhaltigen Frühstücksbüffet oder das abendliche Menü, welches schon für das Auge ein Genuss ist - und noch mehr für den Gaumen.

Beautiful village, great hotel with amazing staff. Also great display of contemporary art in all spaces. Waitress in the breakfast room is so attentive and friendly. Will def go back with my children in the winter
