we went there in august. the island is absolutely stunning. there are multiple beaches, there are even some nursing sharks on the side of our island. the water is just as beautiful on the pictures. it was our first time on the Maldives and we loved it! the island organized boating trips each days which you can join for free; however they do go to the same spot every single time, so you might not want to go each day. while going on this snork trips you will probably see a turtle and beautiful fishes, we haven't encountered any sharks or manta rays while going on these trips. the room was perfect for us, there is an air conditioner and a ventilator, which made the room the perfect temperature just as you want. we received two big bottles of water each day, and our room was cleaned everyday. the bathroom didn't have air conditioner, as it was an open bathroom, which we actually quite liked. the food was okay, not great: we recommend not doing full-board, unless you like to drink a glass of whine/beer etc. the breakfast and dinner were mostly just fine, however; for vegetarians (as I am) there aren't much possibilities sometimes at dinner. Usually I ate some pasta with some dressing as there is usually sauce with meat in it. other days there was a perfect dinner with loads of options to choose from. some days there were delicious options such as churros, choosing your own panini's, pancakes, choosing your own pasta. other days there wasn't much to choose from as an vegetarian. we recommend not including lunch in your board plan, as lunch is typically not chosen on this island, so there isn't much budget to plan a complete lunch for those who did, usually they use left over food from the morning with some extra options. everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay, however we did have an experience with a worker. we ordered a full bottle of whine at the bar which we could use our entire stay, we asked at dinner for our previously bought bottle of whine. however the worker opened a new bottle of whine for us. we aren't much of a drinker, so we wouldn't finish a second bottle of whine, and we still had another full bottle of whine left. when we told the worker that this bottle was a new one, and we wanted an old one, he told us not to worry about it, as it wouldn't be put on our tab. for the record: a bottle of whine is on the island around $100. the next day, another worker came to us to tell us that we did have to pay for the bottle of whine, as the other worker opened it, and they wouldn't be able to use it anymore. we told them that we weren't going to pay $100 for another bottle of whine which the other worker opened by mistake. she then tried to convince us by telling us that we wouldn't regret having two bottles of whine etc. we told her no. she then left and told us she would get the manager. the next day at dinner, mind you it had been 2 days of this discussion and we weren't sure if we could even drink whine right now from our old b
