Tui on the whole offers well organised travel but I’m absolutely shocked how middle of the road this hotel was, especially given it was a TUI Blue and the hype that surrounds them. The staff were generally nice but this doesn’t make up for so many other things . On arrival the rooms were not ready and we had to wait until 1500 onwards to check in after being on the go since 3am, not ideal but also not a major issue. However, When I arrived at the check in desk with my friend she said (joking) “so which room is the best coz it’s my birthday”, and the staff member replied “weelllll probably this one” meaning mine, pointing to the envelope with my name on it, and proceeded to swapped them over in front of me. So unprofessional. You pay for the room you get and this guy had just swapped them without any other knowledge to appease my friend or regard for how I might feel about it. I challenged him and said “you can’t do that” and he said “I just did”. Surprisingly arrogant. I Stayed in room 5101 and multiple times throughout the night it sounded like a water trap would release and there was a very load clunk and the water sounded like it was going to come through the ceiling. This was not merely the flush of a toilet, this would not have been an issue but it woke me up on more than 3 occasions EVERY NIGHT. Food was “ok” at best but staff often allowed the options to run down and then would not refill regularly. Options basic. Had to cue for 20 mins or more for attractive options on the grill. Dining room often very very busy and did not feel relaxed over any meals. Pics attached of food from local restaurant NOT HOTEL FOOD. Very young TUI staff left to run the beach bar which turned into a youth club for locals on the Saturday. TUI staff (in corporate logo t shirts) decided to play football close by near the bar and where their beds were set up. The ball repeatedly my friend whilst laying down attempting to relax and when she gently challenged them asking if they would kindly go up the beach and play as it was chaos they said “sorry we can’t hear you”. Then proceeded to continue with more boys joining in to try to ascertain some territory and intimidate until she went into the hotel and complained to management. It was utterly ridiculous, and not what I’d expect from a hotel of any rating especially not an alleged 4 star (which it definitely Is not). When we arrived we headed down to the pool and it was absolutely tiny, nothing like the pictures portray and there wasn’t a bed in sight or at least a bed that didn’t cost €15 a day to rent but that was only on the beach. As the week went on we discovered that people were reserving beds from an absolutely ridiculously hour which was not managed at all by hotel staff. All in all that week I spent over €100 so I could lay on a sunbed on the beach. My room on arrival/check in was tired and the glass bathroom door had dirty shower water splashed all over it: Also some random Cellotape was stuck to t

When we stayed at this hotel 11th to 18th July After a very early start and long journey the staff came to welcomed us and sorted out lunch straight away. They took care of our luggage and checking was quick and efficient. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The food was fabulous with lots of choice even if you are a picky eater. It was a lovely hotel to relax in and enjoy our holiday. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

We returned last week from an 11 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Rooms are spacious modern and comfortable, Food is varied enough and great quality, staff are friendly and Croatia in general is beautiful and very relaxing! We had some issues with the staff at the Pool Bar (saying I couldn't have a certain cocktail as it wasn't Friday) When I spoke to Philip the bars & restaurant manager he went to speak to them straight away. After this they then said they couldn't make it as they didn't have a certain ingredient - I felt they were playing a game so again went to speak to Philip who was absolutely wonderful and within 30 minutes showed up with 2 bottles of the 'missing ingredient' and personally made my husband and I the cocktail - there were no issues after this - Philip did a great job. The Sunbeds.... There were no problems at all with sunbeds - only for those who get up at 11am and after like any other hotel. After breakfast at 9/9:30 there were still plenty available. The steps.... Yes theres quite a few steps - but its a hotel set into a mountainside so not sure why some reviewers are surprised about this - it was good exercise when you're in an All inclusive for 10 days! Fitness classes/Gym... I did a couple of the fitness classes which were really good and enjoyable - the instructor was engaging & very knowledgeable. The gym needs some attention - if you're a gym rat you are going to have to improvise a lot!! Theres only one bench, it desperately needs more and all the weights (Dumb bells and plates) only go up to 10kg so very light. The aircon doesn't cool properly in there so it was quite warm - 23c ish - not ideal at all for working out. Overall... Absolutely fantastic and we would definitely return - a wonderful place in a wonderful country!

We spent our holiday at this hotel and were very satisfied with the overall experience. First and foremost, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which was a big highlight of our stay. Cleanliness is also good, whether it’s the rooms, the hotel premises, or the pool area, and that’s something very important to us. We stayed in the main building and had a room with a sea view, which was absolutely stunning. It made our mornings and evenings even more enjoyable. :) As for the bars and restaurants, everything was solid and well-organized. Even though we don’t drink alcohol, we were pleased with the selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages. The main buffet restaurant offers a variety of dishes, and you can always find something to suit your taste. We would especially like to highlight the Culinarium (à la carte) restaurant, we were truly impressed! Marin (the manager) and Aleksandar (the waiter) were exceptionally welcoming and professional. The menu is small, but everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel offers entertainment every evening – live music, quiz nights, themed evenings, silent disco, and more. There are also extra (paid) activities like paint & wine or make your own pizza, but also plenty of free workshops and events. Just a note: if you want to get a spot on the terrace for the evening events, make sure to come early as the seating is limited. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay. This is the kind of hotel you choose when you truly want to relax. Most of the main activities happen within the hotel, so unless you’re going on excursions, you’ll likely stay on-site. It’s not within walking distance to a larger town, but that makes it more peaceful.

I’ve recently returned from my holiday to this hotel, and we had a great time - due to the company, not so much the hotel. The views are incredible, that being the only pleasant surprise this trip. The food is ok. Nothing amazing, choice is slim, I had pizza/ pasta most lunch and dinner times. ‘Themed nights’ is a bit of an exaggeration, we stayed for 7 nights and only saw one themed night in the entire time we were there. The waiter also dropped food over me when clearing plates - I understand that these things happen sometimes and that’s fine, but he didn’t even apologise which I found rude and unprofessional. The pool was big enough, we enjoyed it. There were activities to join in with, but still room in the pool to swim if you didn’t want to join in. However the sun bathing area is quite crammed, you also have to reserve sun beds early. The bar is often busy but has a good range of drinks. You have to pay for ice cream around the pool and for some alcohol. The beach is beautiful. We had beach shoes as the beach is very rocky. There is a shop onsite that you can get these but they are expensive so buy before you go. Although you do have to pay for the sun loungers on the beach - which we couldn’t believe. The pool is very close by so we would use the loungers at the pool, and nip down to the beach when we felt like it. The evening entertainment was disappointing, and there is limited seating outside where the entertainment seemed to be. It does mention this when booking but I don’t think I quite understood how little there was. There wasn’t much to do after dinner at all. The upstairs bar had lots of alcohol on offer but some you had to pay for. And for the girlies reading this, the waitresses behind the bar aren’t shy, to the point that my boyfriend actually felt uncomfortable going to get a drink. Our room was nice and spacious. The decor was modern - but take my advice and don’t go for the ‘limited Mountain View’ - this means a view of the car park. We were really disappointed with the view from our room, especially because we came to Croatia for the stunning views. We witnessed many people complaining in reception each day. The room is pretty much the only place with ‘ok’ WIFI too. I saved the worst for last. Do not go on the boat excursion to Makarska. We booked this on the app, went down to the pick up point and joined the boat. We sailed for an hour, stayed in the town for 3 hours (which was beautiful) and then returned to the boat to go home. The boat broke down half way home, at 11pm at night - pitch black, windy and miles away from shore. The 2 crew members didn’t speak English and couldn’t communicate the issue. They were smoking and shouting. There wasn’t a TUI rep on board either. We all sat in the dark for around 40 minutes before a boat came towards us, which we thought was the coast guard - it wasn’t, it was their friend. Their friend towed us to the nearest town. They then crashed into the port. It’s now around 00:30am.

This hotel has an amazing location, it’s really beautiful However if is a long way from both Split and Dubrovnik, it took over 2 hours to get from the airport Rooms are ok clean and comfortable but had to chase for shower gel and tissues but it got sorted quickly The food is ok not the best AI we’ve ever had but you won’t go hungry although they seem to have a problem keeping up with demand The staff are very friendly although the pool bar is least friendly and to be honest it does not appear to be as clean as the rest of the hotel The guys who do the aqua gym and yoga etc are great and the reception team helpful We got the bus to Makarska which s lovely to stroll around with nice restaurants as it’s and we went to Hvar and Brac, both definitely worth visiting We will go back to Croatia to explore other areas, it’s a beautiful country
